Is "Other" a single blockchain?

Accepted Answer

No. "Other" is a catch-all for dApps that run on networks without their own page on our site. Those include Provenance, Cosmos SDK appchains, Polkadot appchains, Kaspa layer 2s, Aleo, Obyte and others. Each has its own consensus, fees and tooling.

What token do you use to pay fees on these dApps?

Accepted Answer

There is no single native token. Fees are paid in whatever token each network uses, for example BFC on Bifrost, IGRA on Igra or STRAX in the Stratis ecosystem. Some apps, such as Reya Perps, are built around gas-free trading, so check each dApp's own fee model.

Accepted Answer

At the time of writing, Figure Markets Exchange shows about $129.4M in TVL and Noble about $86.1M. Hydration DEX and Hydration Lending sit near $24M each, as does XION Finance. TVL changes daily, so treat these as rough snapshots.

Accepted Answer

Not necessarily. Some, like STRATO and the Igra and Stratis EVM networks, are EVM-compatible. Others use different environments, such as Cosmos SDK, Polkadot, Aleo or Obyte. Check which wallet and network each app needs before connecting.

Many are early-stage, with TVL under a few million dollars, and some have thin liquidity and little track record. Smart contract bugs, bridge problems and sudden liquidity loss are real risks. Leveraged products such as perpetuals can also lose money quickly. Only use funds you can afford to lose and read each project's documentation.
