The Other category in DeFi collects projects that don't fit neatly into trading, lending or yield farming. The 40 dApps on our list include token launchpads, fundraising tools, yield-tranching protocols, DAOs that fund research, keeper job markets and peer-to-peer fiat trading. If a project does something unusual with on-chain money, it often ends up here.

The business models vary as much as the products. Launchpads like Flap, Gate Fun, MemeJob and g8keep usually earn from launch or trading fees on the tokens created through them. Royco and Strata split a yield source into senior and junior tranches, and fees or token incentives support the protocol. Juicebox lets projects raise funds under programmable rules, Aerodrome Ignition ties token launches to Aerodrome liquidity on Base, and DAOs such as Bio Protocol and VitaDAO rely on governance tokens and treasuries to back research.

When comparing, start with what the product actually does and who it is for, then look at TVL, chain support and the review score. At the time of writing, Aerodrome Ignition (about $16.3M), Juicebox V1 (about $12.5M) and Royco V2 (about $7.3M) lead on TVL, while Metaplex and Juicebox V3 score among the highest on our list. Also weigh audits, how long the contracts have been live, how fees are charged and how much of the token supply sits with insiders. Many of these are early-stage and speculative, so only use funds you can afford to lose. Anything involving gambling-like token trading is for adults only: you must be 18+ (21+ where required) and should check that it is legal where you live.</br>

How to Stake RADAR and Harvest Rewards on Another Blockchain

RADAR is a token name that more than one project has used, so harvesting rewards starts with confirming the exact contract and chain you hold. This guide covers how to verify the token, move it safely, stake it in a pool or contract, and claim rewards without exposing your wallet.

How to Send Crypto to Another Wallet Safely

Sending crypto is usually a matter of choosing the asset, matching the network, and entering the recipient’s address. Check each detail before confirming: a transfer sent to the wrong address or network may be difficult or impossible to recover.

Frequently asked questions

What counts as an 'Other' DeFi dApp?

It is a catch-all group for DeFi projects that don't fit the main categories like DEXs, lending or yield aggregators. On this page that includes token launchpads (Flap, Gate Fun, MemeJob), fundraising tools (Juicebox), yield-tranching protocols (Royco, Strata), research DAOs (Bio Protocol, VitaDAO) and a few one-off designs like Keep3r Network and CityCoins.

Are these dApps riskier than mainstream DeFi?

Not necessarily. Many projects here are small, young or experimental, and the TVL on several is under $1M at the time of writing. Smart-contract bugs, thin liquidity, token price swings and team or governance risk all apply. Treat any deposit as money you could lose entirely.

How do token launchpads like Flap or MemeJob work?

A launchpad lets anyone create a token and open trading, usually through a bonding curve, and often moves it to a regular DEX pool once it reaches a target. Platforms such as Flap, Rise.rich, g8keep and MemeJob typically earn from trading fees or launch fees. Most launched tokens are speculative and many lose value fast.

What is a yield tranche, as used by Royco and Strata?

Royco and Strata split a yield source into a senior tranche, which is meant to be better protected, and a junior tranche, which absorbs losses first in exchange for a higher potential return. 'Protected' is relative: it depends on the smart contracts and the underlying strategy, so it is not a guarantee.

What does Juicebox do, and why are there several versions?

Juicebox is an open-source protocol for programmable fundraising on Ethereum. A project sets rules for how funds are raised, what tokens contributors receive and how payouts are made. The V1 and V3 versions on our list are earlier releases of the protocol, so check which version a project actually uses before you interact.

How can I vet a lesser-known dApp before using it?

Check that the contracts are verified and ideally audited, read how fees and rewards are paid, and confirm the token's liquidity before you buy. Use a wallet with only the funds you're willing to risk. Some tools, like Metaplex or OpenPeer, don't have a TVL figure, so judge them on other signals.

What is the largest other dApp by TVL?

Strata Markets is the largest other dApp by total value locked, with $16.6M. It is followed by Aerodrome Ignition ($15.5M) and Juicebox V1 ($11.5M). TVL figures come from DefiLlama and change daily.

Which other dApp has the highest DappsAtlas score?

Metaplex has the highest score at 7.3/10, ahead of Juicebox V1 (7.2) and Juicebox V3 (7.0). Scores weigh security, ease of use, fees and features, and are based only on facts we could verify.

How many other dApps does DappsAtlas track?

DappsAtlas tracks 133 other dApps. Of these, 133 have a full review and 27 report value locked, $67.4M in total.

What chains do most other dApps run on?

Ethereum is the most common, with 33 of 133 other dApps, followed by BNB Chain (32) and Base (12). 20% are deployed on more than one chain.

Which other dApps grew the most this week?

Among other dApps with at least $1M locked, CityCoins had the biggest 7-day TVL gain (+19.1%) and Royco V2 the biggest drop (−55.7%). Combined TVL moved −16.1% over the same seven days.

What is the average score for other dApps?

The 43 rated other dApps average 5.6 out of 10. Of these, 0 score 8 or higher and 6 score below 5.
