Glide Finance Review 2026: Elastos Smart Chain DEX and Farm

Glide Finance is an automated market maker DEX with yield farming and staking on the Elastos Smart Chain. It is a small, ecosystem-focused venue, so liquidity depth is the main caveat.

Our verdict on Glide Finance

5.5/10

Glide Finance suits users already active on the Elastos Smart Chain who want a native place to swap ELA, provide liquidity, farm and stake. Its strength is that it covers those basics in one app, with two audits listed. The main caveat is size: about $194,000 in TVL means thin liquidity and high price impact on larger trades, and fee and reward details are not published publicly. Treat it as a small-scale, higher-risk venue.

What is Glide Finance?

Glide Finance is a decentralized exchange, yield farming and staking platform on the Elastos Smart Chain (ESC). DefiLlama lists it under DEXs and has tracked it since November 2021. Its homepage describes it as the first native farm and exchange on Elastos.

The scale is small. DefiLlama shows total value locked of about $194,000, up roughly 33% over seven days, which is a swing that is easy to produce on a small base. The project has its own token, GLIDE, and DefiLlama lists two audits.

The purpose is ecosystem liquidity: giving Elastos users a place to swap ELA and other ESC tokens, and giving projects built on the chain a pool venue. It has a GitHub presence with 15 repositories, according to public reporting.

How Glide Finance works

Glide Finance is an automated market maker. Instead of matching buyers and sellers in an order book, it uses liquidity pools, which are smart contracts holding two tokens. A swap changes the balance of the pool, and a formula sets the price based on that balance.

People who add tokens to a pool receive LP tokens that stand for their share. They earn a part of the trading fees, though they also face impermanent loss if token prices diverge. On the Farm page, LP tokens can be deposited to earn additional rewards, and on the Stake page tokens can be locked to earn yield.

Everything runs on the Elastos Smart Chain, so users connect a compatible wallet and pay gas in ELA. The platform says it aims to accelerate adoption of the Elastos ecosystem by serving as a liquidity source for users and projects there.

Key features

01

AMM token swaps

Users can swap tokens, with ELA available as a trading asset, directly from their own wallet through liquidity pools.

02

Liquidity pools

Users can add tokens to a pool and receive LP tokens that represent their share of that pool.

03

Yield farming

A Farm section lets users put LP tokens to work to earn extra rewards on top of trading activity.

04

Staking

A Stake section lets users lock tokens to earn rewards. The specific terms are not stated publicly.

Pros and cons

What we like

  • Native DEX, farm and staking in one app for the Elastos Smart Chain
  • Two audits listed on DefiLlama
  • Established listing history since November 2021
  • Non-custodial swaps from your own wallet
  • Public info and analytics page showing liquidity, APR and transactions
  • Open code presence on GitHub with 15 repositories

Watch out for

  • Total value locked is small at about $194,000, so pools are likely thin and large trades may move prices a lot
  • Runs only on the Elastos Smart Chain, a niche network with far less liquidity and tooling than Ethereum or BNB Chain
  • The project does not publish swap fees, farm reward rates or staking terms, so users must check the app
  • Audit details are not public beyond a count of two, so scope and findings are unknown
  • Value depends on the Elastos ecosystem staying active, which limits diversification
  • Yield farming and liquidity provision carry impermanent loss and smart-contract risk

Glide Finance fees

Swap fees, liquidity provider fee splits and farm or staking reward rates are not published publicly available to us. In a typical AMM, each swap pays a small percentage fee that mostly goes to liquidity providers, but the exact rate here is unconfirmed.

Users should check the swap interface and the Glide info and analytics page for current figures. You also pay network gas on the Elastos Smart Chain, paid in ELA.

Is Glide Finance safe?

DefiLlama lists two audits for Glide Finance, but the project does not say who carried them out, when, or what they found. Swaps are non-custodial, so you keep your tokens in your own wallet until you interact with a pool, farm or stake. That moves risk to the smart contracts, which can still contain bugs even after an audit.

With under $200,000 in TVL on a niche chain, liquidity is thin and prices can slip on larger trades. Farm rewards paid in GLIDE can lose value quickly. Public sources mention no hacks or incidents, but absence from public sources are not proof of none. Do your own checks and only use funds you can afford to lose.

6 steps

How to get started with Glide Finance

  1. 1

Set up a wallet that supports the Elastos Smart Chain and add the network if needed.

  2. 2

Fund the wallet with ELA, which covers gas and is a main trading asset on the exchange.

  3. 3

Open the official Glide Finance site and use Connect Wallet to link your wallet.

  4. 4

Start with a small swap on the Trade page and check the price impact and fees shown.

  5. 5

If you want to provide liquidity, use the Add Liquidity page to create LP tokens and review the pool share.

  6. 6

Check the Farm and Stake pages for current reward rates and terms before committing funds.

Who Glide Finance is for

Glide Finance is for Elastos Smart Chain users and ELA holders who want a native DEX with farming and staking, and who accept the risks of a small protocol. It is less suitable for traders needing deep liquidity, or for anyone who wants multi-chain access.

Glide Finance FAQs

What is Glide Finance?

Glide Finance is a decentralized exchange and automated market maker on the Elastos Smart Chain. It also offers yield farming and staking. It aims to provide liquidity for users and projects in the Elastos ecosystem.

Which blockchain does Glide Finance use?

It runs on the Elastos Smart Chain (ESC). The swap page lists ELA as a trading asset, and the project describes itself as the first native farm and exchange on Elastos.

Does Glide Finance have a token?

Yes. The project has a token called GLIDE. Public sources show a last known price of around $0.0107, but this is a snapshot and can change. Check live market data before acting.

Is Glide Finance audited?

DefiLlama lists two audits for the project, but the project does not say who performed them or what they found. An audit lowers some risk but does not remove smart-contract, liquidity or market risk, so read the reports yourself.

What are the fees on Glide Finance?

The project does not state swap fees or farm APRs. The app and its info and analytics page show liquidity, APR and transaction data, so check those before you trade or provide liquidity.

How do I use Glide Finance?

You need a wallet that supports the Elastos Smart Chain, some ELA for gas and trading, and a connection to the app via the Connect Wallet button. Then use the Trade, Farm or Stake sections.
