Harmony is a layer-1 blockchain built to be fast and cheap by splitting work across shards, with validators secured by a proof-of-stake system called Effective Proof-of-Stake. It is compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine, so developers can port Solidity contracts and users can connect with familiar EVM wallets. Its ecosystem was most active in the 2021 to 2022 period, and activity is much smaller now.
The native token is ONE. It pays transaction fees and is staked by validators and delegators to secure the network. Fees on Harmony have generally been low, but the token price and the amount of value on the chain change all the time, so check live figures. Our data shows no meaningful DeFi TVL on the chain at the time of writing.
The 37 dApps on this page are mostly multichain projects that list Harmony alongside other networks, and their large TVL figures come mainly from those other chains. The main app tied directly to Harmony is DeFi Kingdoms, a pixel-art fantasy RPG that combines a DEX, liquidity pools and Hero NFTs. The rest are cross-chain bridges such as LayerZero V2, cBridge and Poly Network, DEXes and aggregators such as SushiSwap and Chainspot, and yield and lending tools such as Autofarm, QiDao and Hundred Finance. Bridges and older lending forks carry real smart-contract risk, so read each review before moving funds.

Harmony FAQs
What is Harmony blockchain?
Harmony is a layer-1 blockchain that is compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine, so Solidity contracts and Ethereum-style wallets can work on it. It was designed around sharding to spread the load across parallel groups of validators. Its native token is ONE.
What is the ONE token used for?
ONE is the native token of Harmony. It is used to pay transaction fees and for staking, which secures the network through its proof-of-stake system. Check the current price and supply on an exchange, because they change constantly.
How does Harmony reach consensus and scale?
Harmony uses a stake-based consensus called Effective Proof-of-Stake, where validators lock up ONE to take part. Sharding splits the network into several parts that process transactions in parallel. The aim is to keep fees low and throughput higher than a single-chain design.
Is Harmony compatible with Ethereum wallets and tools?
Harmony supports EVM contracts, so developers can reuse Ethereum tooling and wallets such as MetaMask can connect with a custom network setup. Fees are paid in ONE and have generally been low. Always confirm the network details from an official source before adding it to your wallet.
How active is Harmony DeFi today?
Our data shows essentially no DeFi TVL on Harmony at the time of writing, and DeFi Kingdoms is the only listed app tied directly to the chain, with about $34,000 locked. Many other listed apps are multichain, and their larger TVL figures come from other networks. Treat Harmony activity as small and check each app's own status before using it.
Is it safe to bridge assets to or from Harmony?
Bridges carry extra risk because they hold pooled funds in smart contracts. Harmony's Horizon bridge was exploited in 2022, which damaged confidence in the network. If you use a bridge, move small test amounts first, confirm Harmony is still supported, and understand that you could lose funds if the bridge fails.
What is the largest dApp on Harmony by TVL?
LayerZero V2 is the largest dApp on Harmony by total value locked, with $16.7B across all the chains it supports. It is followed by Bitget ($5.82B) and SushiSwap ($35.2M). TVL figures come from DefiLlama and change daily.
Which dApp on Harmony has the highest DappsAtlas score?
LayerZero V2 has the highest score at 8.0/10, ahead of Bitget (7.6) and SushiSwap (7.4). Scores weigh security, ease of use, fees and features, and are based only on facts we could verify.
How many dApps are on Harmony?
DappsAtlas tracks 42 dApps on Harmony. Of these, 42 have a full review and 18 report value locked, $22.7B in total, counting value on every chain they support.
What are the most common types of dApps on Harmony?
DEXes (9), Cross Chain Bridge (7) and Algo Stables (3) are the largest categories on Harmony, by number of projects.
Which dApps on Harmony grew the most this week?
Among dApps with at least $1M locked, LayerZero V2 had the biggest 7-day TVL gain (+8.9%) and cBridge the biggest drop (−4.0%). Combined TVL moved +6.0% over the same seven days.
What is the average score for dApps on Harmony?
The 15 rated dApps on Harmony average 5.9 out of 10. Of these, 1 score 8 or higher and 4 score below 5.
