Heco, short for Huobi ECO Chain, was a smart-contract blockchain launched by the team behind the Huobi exchange. It was compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine, so developers could reuse Ethereum code, tools and wallets. It relied on a small set of validators secured by staking rather than open mining, which kept transactions fast and cheap but made the network more centralized than Ethereum.

The native token is HT, which was used to pay for transactions. Fees were low compared with Ethereum mainnet, which suited small trades and farming. At the time of writing, our data shows $0 in DeFi TVL on Heco, which points to a chain that has been wound down or left behind. Check each project's official channels before sending funds to anything on this network.

The 34 dApps on this page are mostly legacy or multichain projects. Heco-linked names include LendHub for lending, ButterSwap and MetaTdex for DEX trading, and the Cook Finance index platform. Larger multichain apps such as SushiSwap, cBridge, deBridge, Autofarm and Gate also appear because they once touched the chain. The strongest scores here belong to these cross-chain brands, not to Heco-only projects.

HECO FAQs

What is Heco?

Heco, short for Huobi ECO Chain, was a smart-contract blockchain built by the team around the Huobi exchange. It was compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine, so Ethereum-style apps could be ported to it with little change. It was aimed at cheap DeFi and trading apps.

What is the HT token used for?

Heco's native token is HT, the Huobi Token. It was used to pay transaction fees on the network. Fees were generally low compared with Ethereum mainnet.

Is Heco still active in 2026?

The data on this page shows $0 in DeFi TVL for Heco, which fits a chain that has been wound down or abandoned. Several apps listed here also show tiny or zero TVL. Treat any Heco-only app as likely inactive until you confirm otherwise on its official channels.

Can I still use Heco dApps?

Mostly no. Many apps listed here, such as SushiSwap, cBridge, deBridge and Autofarm, run on other chains such as Ethereum, BNB Chain and Polygon, and their Heco deployments are not the main way to use them. Heco-focused apps like LendHub and ButterSwap carry extra risk because the chain's activity has faded.

Which wallets worked with Heco?

Heco was EVM-compatible, so it worked with common Ethereum wallets once the network was added manually. Because the chain is no longer in active use, adding it is rarely worthwhile now. Only use wallet settings from official sources, and be careful with any site asking you to approve contracts on Heco.

What should I do if I still have assets on Heco?

If you hold funds in an old Heco app, check the project's official announcements for withdrawal or migration instructions. Bridges such as Poly Network, deBridge and Evodefi appear in the list because they supported Heco at some point. Support may have ended, so confirm before sending anything, and never trust unsolicited messages offering recovery help.

What is the largest dApp on HECO by TVL?

Gate is the largest dApp on HECO by total value locked, with $5.84B across all the chains it supports. It is followed by SushiSwap ($35.2M) and Orbit Bridge ($15.3M). TVL figures come from DefiLlama and change daily.

Which dApp on HECO has the highest DappsAtlas score?

Gate has the highest score at 7.7/10, ahead of Demeter (7.5) and SushiSwap (7.4). Scores weigh security, ease of use, fees and features, and are based only on facts we could verify.

How many dApps are on HECO?

DappsAtlas tracks 39 dApps on HECO. Of these, 39 have a full review and 21 report value locked, $5.93B in total, counting value on every chain they support.

What are the most common types of dApps on HECO?

DEXes (11), Cross Chain Bridge (6) and GameFi (4) are the largest categories on HECO, by number of projects.

Which dApps on HECO grew the most this week?

Among dApps with at least $1M locked, deBridge the biggest drop (−10.7%). Combined TVL moved −4.6% over the same seven days.

What is the average score for dApps on HECO?

The 21 rated dApps on HECO average 5.4 out of 10. Of these, 0 score 8 or higher and 9 score below 5.
