Minto Review 2026: Staking BTCMT for Daily Bitcoin Rewards

Minto tokenizes Bitcoin mining power as BTCMT, a BNB Smart Chain token that earns daily BTC rewards when staked. It is simple to use, but returns depend on one operator's mining business.

Our verdict on Minto

6.3/10

Minto suits crypto holders who want exposure to Bitcoin mining through a single BNB Smart Chain token, without running hardware. Its strengths are a simple stake-and-earn flow, a Hacken audit and open reporting tools like monthly updates and a live stream. The main caveat is dependence on one operator: rewards rely on the project's mining business, fees are not itemized on the homepage, and the 25% ROI figure is a claim rather than a guarantee. Size any position accordingly.

What is Minto?

Minto is a platform that tokenizes Bitcoin mining power. Its token, BTCMT, is described as backed by operating mining hardware, with one token equal to 0.01 TH/s of capacity. Holders stake the token to receive daily rewards in BTC.

The project runs on BNB Smart Chain and has been tracked in yield-protocol listings since July 2022. The homepage reports about 2.67 million BTCMT staked, 800,000 TH/s of mining power, 45.25 BTC in total profit paid to token owners and more than 13,500 token owners. These figures are self-reported.

Minto says it owns and runs its mining farm, uses hydro power from a private plant, holds a telecom services licence and complies with ISO 27001. It also lists a BTCMT listing on MEXC in September 2024 and a hashrate rise to 190,000 TH/s in its news. The homepage warns that crypto is a high-risk investment.

How Minto works

Minto sells BTCMT, a token it says represents a share of Bitcoin mining hashrate. One token equals 0.01 TH/s of capacity. The mining hardware is operated by Minto at its own farm and connected to large mining pools.

After buying BTCMT on BNB Smart Chain, a holder stakes it in the Minto contract. Staked tokens earn a share of the BTC the miners produce, paid out daily in proportion to how many tokens the holder has staked. Rewards can be withdrawn in any amount.

Governance is handled by owner votes. As an example, the homepage shows a vote in October 2024 on spending Treasury funds on new miners. This means returns depend on the mining business growing and operating well, not only on the smart contract.

7 features

Key features

01

Tokenized mining power

Each BTCMT is described as 0.01 TH/s of capacity from operating Bitcoin mining hardware, giving a small, divisible way to hold hashrate exposure.

02

Daily BTC rewards

Staked BTCMT earns BTC rewards each day, proportional to the number of tokens held.

03

Flexible withdrawals

Rewards can be withdrawn at any time and in any amount, according to the project.

04

Owner governance votes

Owners vote on proposals; one example shown is an October 2024 vote to spend $150,000 of Treasury funds on new miners, which passed with 99.9% yes.

05

Published documents

The homepage links a white paper, the BscScan contract, a security audit and a how-to guide.

06

Transparency tools

The project says it shares a monthly progress report, live-streams its data center and shows mining power in real time through a top-3 mining pool.

07

Reported scale

The project reports about 2.67 million BTCMT staked, 800,000 TH/s total mining power and 13,500+ token owners.

Pros and cons

What we like

  • Simple model: buy, stake and receive daily BTC rewards without running mining hardware.
  • Smart contracts audited by Hacken, with the report and BscScan contract linked.
  • Rewards can be withdrawn at any time and in any amount, per the project.
  • Token owners vote on treasury decisions, with a recorded October 2024 example.
  • Monthly progress reports and a live stream of the data center give some verifiability.
  • Low entry price of roughly $0.8 per BTCMT.

Watch out for

  • Reward claims depend on a centralized mining operation, so token holders carry operator and counterparty risk, not just smart-contract risk.
  • The 25% ROI figure is a project claim; the source and conditions of that figure are not detailed on the homepage.
  • BTC mining returns vary with Bitcoin price, network difficulty and energy costs, so daily rewards are not guaranteed.
  • Only the Hacken audit is named on the homepage; the project does not publish the audit date or scope there.
  • Claims about the farm (size, hydro power, licensing) are self-reported, and the team behind the project is not named on the homepage.
  • Listed on a small number of venues, so liquidity for BTCMT may be thinner than for major tokens.

Minto fees

The homepage does not publish a fee schedule for buying, staking or withdrawing BTCMT. Costs such as BNB Smart Chain gas and exchange or swap fees apply when buying and moving tokens.

Any mining-related deductions, such as energy or maintenance costs, are not itemized on the homepage. Check the white paper and the dashboard for how rewards are calculated before staking.

Is Minto safe?

The homepage says all smart contracts were audited by Hacken and links the audit report and the BscScan contract. The project does not publish the audit date or the full findings on the homepage, so read the report directly. An audit covers code, not the business behind the token.

The larger risk is operational. Rewards come from a mining farm run by the project, so holders rely on it to keep the hardware running, pay out and report honestly. The project does not name its team on the homepage. It states that it holds a telecom licence and complies with ISO 27001, but it does not describe a financial or securities licence. The homepage notes that crypto is high-risk and that its calculations are informative, not advice. Check that this kind of product is permitted where you live.

Who Minto is for

Minto fits people who want passive Bitcoin-denominated income and are comfortable with BNB Smart Chain wallets. It suits those who accept operator risk and are willing to verify the audit, contract and mining data. It is not suited to anyone who needs guaranteed returns or a fully trustless setup.

Minto FAQs

What is BTCMT?

BTCMT is the token of Minto. According to the project, each token represents 0.01 TH/s of Bitcoin mining capacity. Holders stake it to earn daily rewards paid in bitcoin.

How does Minto pay rewards?

The project says you buy BTCMT, stake it, and receive a daily BTC reward in proportion to the tokens you hold. The reward comes from mining carried out by the project's hardware, not from trading.

What return does Minto advertise?

The homepage shows an estimated ROI of 25% and includes a calculator. It is labelled as informative only, and actual results depend on Bitcoin's price, mining difficulty and operating conditions.

Is Minto audited?

The project says its smart contracts were audited by Hacken and links to the report. An audit reduces code risk but does not remove the operational risk of relying on a mining company.

Can I withdraw at any time?

The project states that BTC rewards can be withdrawn at any time and in any amount, with no hidden conditions. Check the current terms on the dashboard before staking.

Which blockchain does Minto use?

The homepage says the project runs on BNB Smart Chain, and a contract link is provided for BscScan. A Heco listing also appears in aggregator data, but that chain has been largely abandoned.
