Telos is a Layer 1 blockchain that grew out of EOSIO technology, which relies on elected block producers rather than open mining. It has two parts: Telos Zero, the native layer that handles governance and security, and the Telos EVM, an Ethereum-compatible environment. Because of the EVM, Solidity contracts and familiar wallets work on Telos, and developers can port apps from other EVM chains.
The native token is TLOS. It is used for staking, for governance, and for paying gas on the EVM side. Telos has long promoted low-cost or fee-free transactions, and its native layer uses a resource model in which CPU, network and storage are priced separately and can be rented. Exact costs depend on which layer you use, so check the current rules before relying on them.
DeFi on Telos is small, at about $2.4M in TVL at the time of writing, and we list 29 dApps here. The Telos-focused side includes sTLOS Liquid Staking, Meridian Swap, ReactorFusion and the DEXes ApeSwap AMM, VaporDex and Symmetric. Alcor Exchange serves several Antelope-style networks, including Telos, and KUMA Protocol offers tokenized sovereign bonds. Large multichain names such as LayerZero V2, Uniswap V3, SushiSwap and Symbiosis also appear, but their TVL covers every network they support, not just Telos.

Telos FAQs
What is Telos?
Telos is a Layer 1 blockchain built on EOSIO-style technology. It pairs a native layer called Telos Zero with an Ethereum-compatible environment, the Telos EVM. It is community-governed, and its native token is TLOS.
Is Telos compatible with Ethereum tools?
Yes. The Telos EVM runs Ethereum-style smart contracts, so Solidity apps and standard wallets can work with it. Projects such as sTLOS Liquid Staking, ApeSwap AMM and KUMA Protocol use this EVM environment.
What is the TLOS token used for?
TLOS is the network's native token. It is used for transaction costs on the EVM, for staking, and in governance. sTLOS Liquid Staking lets holders stake TLOS and receive a liquid token in return.
How big is DeFi on Telos?
Telos is a small DeFi chain. Its total DeFi TVL was about $2.4M at the time of writing, which is far below the large networks. Low liquidity can mean wider spreads and more slippage on trades.
Which dApps can I find on Telos?
The list includes DEXes such as Alcor Exchange, ApeSwap AMM, VaporDex, Symmetric and Meridian Swap. It also has sTLOS Liquid Staking, the lending market ReactorFusion, and the tokenized-bond platform KUMA Protocol. Bridges such as LayerZero V2, Symbiosis and Wan Bridge are also on the list.
Is it safe to use dApps on Telos?
Be cautious. Several Telos-listed projects are tiny, and some have a history of exploits, including Grim Finance and EraLend. Check audits, liquidity and recent activity, and only use funds you can afford to lose. Our scores are a starting point, not a guarantee.
Why do some listed dApps show a TVL far larger than Telos itself?
Several are multichain apps whose TVL figure covers all the networks they run on. The amount held on Telos itself is usually much smaller than the headline number.
What is the largest dApp on Telos by TVL?
LayerZero V2 is the largest dApp on Telos by total value locked, with $16.7B across all the chains it supports. It is followed by Uniswap V3 ($1.51B) and SushiSwap ($35.2M). TVL figures come from DefiLlama and change daily.
Which dApp on Telos has the highest DappsAtlas score?
Uniswap V3 has the highest score at 8.4/10, ahead of LayerZero V2 (8.0) and vfat.io (7.8). Scores weigh security, ease of use, fees and features, and are based only on facts we could verify.
How many dApps are on Telos?
DappsAtlas tracks 30 dApps on Telos. Of these, 30 have a full review and 24 report value locked, $18.4B in total, counting value on every chain they support.
What are the most common types of dApps on Telos?
DEXes (13), Cross Chain Bridge (3) and Lending (3) are the largest categories on Telos, by number of projects.
Which dApps on Telos grew the most this week?
Among dApps with at least $1M locked, LayerZero V2 had the biggest 7-day TVL gain (+8.9%) and Wan Bridge the biggest drop (−13.1%). Combined TVL moved +7.6% over the same seven days.
What is the average score for dApps on Telos?
The 22 rated dApps on Telos average 5.6 out of 10. Of these, 2 score 8 or higher and 9 score below 5.
