## What is Olympus (OHM)?
OHM is the token of Olympus, a decentralized finance protocol focused on programmable monetary infrastructure. Olympus describes OHM as a free-floating, treasury-backed reserve token: its market price can move, and treasury backing does not mean that each token has a guaranteed fixed value or a guaranteed redemption price. The protocol aims to manage value, liquidity and credit through rules and mechanisms implemented on-chain.
OHM also has a governance role in Olympus. The project’s stated design combines treasury management with protocol-owned liquidity and lending-related features, rather than making OHM a claim on a conventional company or a deposit account. The protocol is sometimes described as a decentralized or programmable central bank, but that phrase describes its intended design, not a guarantee of stability or financial performance. OHM is a crypto asset, and its price and the value of the treasury can change.
## How Olympus’s protocol works
Olympus uses several on-chain mechanisms to manage liquidity, credit and the relationship between OHM and its treasury. These include Protocol Owned Liquidity (POL), Cooler Loans, Convertible Deposits (CDs), the Yield Repurchase Facility (YRF) and Range Bound Stability (RBS). Together, Olympus presents these as parts of a policy-driven system intended to support solvency and self-sustaining liquidity.
The names alone do not establish what an OHM holder will earn, whether a loan is suitable for a particular person, or whether the system can keep OHM within a particular price range. RBS should not be read as a promise that OHM is pegged to a currency. Cooler Loans and Convertible Deposits are protocol features, not conventional bank products, and their terms and risks depend on the active contracts and governance decisions. Before using any feature, check its current rules and understand what assets may be committed, how repayment or conversion works, and what could happen if market conditions change.
## OHM supply and tokenomics
OHM has no maximum supply listed. As of 2026-11-05, its circulating supply was about 14.94 million OHM and its total supply was about 19.81 million. Circulating and total supply are different measures; they do not describe how much OHM may exist in the future. The project’s mechanisms and governance can affect how the token and treasury are managed, so supply figures should be treated as time-sensitive.
At that date, OHM’s quoted price was about $18.05, with a market capitalization of about $269.6 million and a fully diluted valuation of about $357.7 million. These are snapshots, not fixed values or forecasts. Market capitalization is based on circulating supply, while fully diluted valuation uses a broader supply assumption; neither indicates how much cash could be raised by selling tokens. OHM’s treasury backing also does not make these figures equivalent to a guaranteed redemption value.
## Chains, wallets and trading
OHM is reported as issued on Ethereum, Base, Optimism, Solana, Arbitrum and Berachain. Public sources do not identify a single native chain for the token. An OHM token displayed on one network should not automatically be assumed to be interchangeable with a token on another network without the correct transfer or bridging process.
People generally hold crypto tokens in a wallet that supports the relevant network, or through a service that offers OHM. Trading availability and liquidity can differ by chain and venue, and the listed token may not be the same contract on every network. Before receiving or sending OHM, confirm the network and token contract using Olympus’s official materials and the wallet or venue interface. A transfer sent to an incompatible network or address may be difficult or impossible to recover. Also account for network fees and any bridge or exchange terms; these can affect the amount received and introduce separate risks.
## History and market context
Olympus became widely known during the 2021 DeFi cycle, when OHM attracted attention as a treasury-backed reserve token. The token’s market history has been highly volatile. The recorded all-time high in the tracked price history is $1,415.26 on 2021-04-24, and its recorded all-time low is $7.54 on 2022-11-26. These past extremes show how sharply its market price has changed; they do not indicate what it may be worth in the future.
As of 2026-11-05, the quoted OHM price was about $18.05. Its 24-hour trading volume was about $268,419 at that snapshot, but both price and trading activity change over time and may vary between markets. A market price can also differ from any estimate of treasury backing. Historical performance, protocol descriptions and market capitalization are not substitutes for checking current contract details, liquidity and the risks of the particular way you plan to use OHM.
## Risks to understand
OHM carries the risks common to volatile crypto assets, along with risks tied to Olympus’s treasury and protocol design. Its market price can fall substantially, and the treasury’s assets may lose value or become less liquid. Treasury backing is not a promise that holders can redeem OHM at a set price. Protocol changes, governance decisions, software defects, exploits, bridge failures and disruption to supported networks could also affect the token or access to it.
Olympus’s lending and liquidity mechanisms may have terms or outcomes that are difficult to assess, especially during stressed markets. The project’s stated goal of solvency or stability does not establish that it will achieve those goals. Trading volume can be limited, and selling a large amount may move the price. Consider whether you understand the relevant contracts and can afford a total loss before taking part. This is general information, not personal financial advice or a recommendation to buy or sell OHM.
## How to store OHM safely
OHM can be held in a self-custody wallet that supports its specific network, or with a crypto service that supports the token. For self-custody, protect the recovery phrase offline and never share it with anyone or enter it into an unsolicited site or message. Use a reputable wallet, secure the device with a strong passcode, and consider a hardware wallet if it suits your needs. A wallet stores the keys that control tokens; it does not remove market or protocol risks.
Check the network and token contract carefully before depositing or transferring OHM, especially when moving between chains. Test with a small transfer when appropriate, and review the destination address before confirming. If using an exchange or other custodian, you rely on that service to safeguard assets and process withdrawals. Keep recovery details separate from the device, and be cautious of impersonators offering help, fake token contracts and unexpected requests to approve transactions.
By the numbers
Olympus in numbers
Olympus (OHM) is ranked #142 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $258M and a price of $17.26 as of Nov 6, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $342M, so roughly 75% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.
The price was down 9.8% over 7 days, down 14.8% over 30 days, down 19.1% over the past year. It trades about 99% below its all-time high of $1,415, set on Apr 24, 2021.
About 14.94M OHM are in circulation, from a total supply of 19.82M. No hard maximum supply is listed.
24-hour trading volume was about $817K, or 0.3% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.
OHM has token contracts on 6 chains we track, including Ethereum, Base, Optimism, Solana. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

OHM FAQs
Is OHM a stablecoin?
OHM is described as treasury-backed, but it is free-floating and can trade above or below any estimate of backing. Olympus does not thereby guarantee a fixed price or redemption value for each token.
What is OHM used for?
OHM is used in Olympus governance and is part of the protocol’s monetary and liquidity system. Olympus also has mechanisms including Protocol Owned Liquidity and Cooler Loans; their active terms and risks should be checked before use.
Which blockchains support OHM?
OHM is reported on Ethereum, Base, Optimism, Solana, Arbitrum and Berachain. Confirm the network and token contract before sending or receiving it, since assets shown on different networks may require a specific bridge or transfer process.
What is the maximum supply of OHM?
No maximum supply is listed. Supply figures can change, so check current token information and distinguish circulating supply from total supply.
What are the main risks of OHM?
OHM has substantial market and protocol risks, including price volatility, changes in treasury value, smart-contract vulnerabilities, governance decisions and network or bridge failures. Treasury backing is not a guarantee that holders can redeem OHM at a particular value.
What is the market cap of Olympus?
As of Nov 6, 2026, Olympus had a market cap of about $258M, ranking #142 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
