What Cap is
Cap is a credit application built around three parts: a digital dollar, a credit platform, and a financial guarantee market. According to the project's own description, the digital dollar is backed by dollar assets such as regulated money market funds and payment stablecoins. Those reserves are lent to institutions to generate yield for depositors. Every borrower has to secure its loan through Cap's financial guarantee market, where underwriters stand behind individual loans.
On our site the issuing project is listed under uncollateralized lending. It is described as an Ethereum stablecoin and credit protocol with a stablecoin called cUSD and a yield-bearing version called stcUSD. The idea is that depositors earn yield from institutional credit, while underwriters take on the risk of borrower default instead of the depositors.
CAP is the token associated with this platform. It is a separate asset from the stablecoins. Holding CAP does not mean holding the digital dollar, and the two should not be confused.
What the CAP token is used for
the public information available to us do not spell out a detailed list of CAP's functions, so this page keeps to what is publicly known. CAP is the token linked to the Cap platform, which focuses on stablecoin yield, private credit and financial guarantees. Tokens in this category often carry roles such as governance, incentives or participation in risk-bearing, but we cannot confirm which of those apply to CAP without the project's own documentation.
If you are considering CAP for a specific purpose, read the project's official documentation and any published token terms first. Check whether the token confers voting rights, fee sharing, staking rewards or nothing beyond market exposure. Also check whether any such rights depend on locking tokens or on rules that could change through governance.
Our category tags place CAP among DeFi tokens and lending and borrowing tokens. That tells you the sector it belongs to, not what a holder can do with it.
Supply and tokenomics
CAP has a maximum supply of 10 billion tokens, and the total supply equals that maximum. About 1.56 billion tokens were circulating as of 2026-11-05, roughly 15.6 percent of the total. The remaining tokens are not yet in circulation.
That gap matters for valuation. At a price of about $0.10 as of 2026-11-05, the market capitalization (circulating supply times price) was about $156.1 million, which put CAP at around rank 198 by market cap. The fully diluted valuation, which assumes all 10 billion tokens exist at the same price, was about $1.00 billion. The large difference between the two figures means a lot of supply could still reach the market.
The data we have does not describe how the unreleased tokens are allocated, who holds them, or when they unlock. Those details, often called the vesting schedule, are worth finding in the project's official materials. Token unlocks can add selling pressure, so they are one of the main things to check before treating the current market cap as a full picture.
Chains and how it is held and traded
CAP is issued on two networks: Ethereum and BNB Chain. It is not the native token of any blockchain, meaning it is not used to pay network fees. It is a standard token that lives on those chains and is moved with ordinary wallets.
Having versions on more than one chain means you should check which network a given CAP balance sits on before sending anything. Tokens sent to an address on the wrong network can be hard or impossible to recover. Always confirm the contract address against the project's official sources, since lookalike tokens with the same name and symbol are common in crypto.
In general terms, CAP can be held in a self-custody wallet that supports Ethereum and BNB Chain, or on an exchange that lists it. Trading volume was about $77.9 million over the 24 hours to 2026-11-05, which is high relative to its market cap of about $156.1 million. Heavy volume relative to size often goes with sharp price swings.
History and recent price action
The price history we have is short and volatile. The all-time low was about $0.0155 on 2026-07-12, and the all-time high was about $0.1208 on 2026-10-12. As of 2026-11-05 the price was about $0.10, which is close to that high, and the 7-day change was roughly up 33.6 percent. A one-year change is not available, which fits with a token that has traded for only a short time.
The launch date is not given in our data, so we will not state one. What it does show is a token that rose several-fold within about three months of its recorded low. That kind of move says little about what happens next, and this page does not forecast prices or suggest buying or selling.
On the project side, our site gives the issuing protocol a score of 6.8 out of 10 in the uncollateralized lending category. Treat that as one input among many, not a safety guarantee.
Risks to understand
CAP carries the usual risks of a young DeFi token, plus some specific to its sector.
Credit risk. The platform lends reserves to institutions without the usual crypto-style collateral. If borrowers default and underwriters cannot cover the loss, the stablecoin and the wider protocol could be affected, which may feed back into CAP.
Smart contract risk. Bugs or exploits in the contracts for the stablecoin, the lending platform or the guarantee market could cause losses.
Dilution and unlock risk. Only about 15.6 percent of the total supply was circulating as of 2026-11-05, and the fully diluted valuation is about $1.00 billion. Future releases could pressure the price.
Volatility. A rise of about a third in one week, and a roughly sixfold gap between the recorded low and high, show how far the price can move in either direction.
Regulatory and counterparty risk. The reserves include regulated money market funds and payment stablecoins, and borrowers are institutions. Rule changes or problems at any of these parties could matter.
Only consider money you can afford to lose, and do your own research.
How to store CAP safely
Because CAP is a standard token on Ethereum and BNB Chain, any compatible self-custody wallet can hold it. A hardware wallet gives the strongest protection for larger amounts, since the private keys stay on the device. Write down your recovery phrase offline, store it somewhere secure and never type it into a website or share it with anyone.
Before interacting with the token, verify the contract address from the project's official channels and confirm you are on the correct network. Scam tokens copy names and symbols, and fake sites often imitate DeFi front ends. Start with a small test transfer if you are moving tokens for the first time.
Be careful with token approvals. When you connect a wallet to a dApp, you may grant it permission to spend your tokens, and it is sensible to review and revoke approvals you no longer need. Keeping tokens on an exchange is convenient for trading, but it means the exchange controls the keys, so only leave there what you are actively trading.
By the numbers
Cap in numbers
Cap (CAP) is ranked #192 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $162M and a price of $0.1040 as of Nov 6, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $1.04B, so roughly 16% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.
The price was up 28.4% over 7 days, up 19.4% over 30 days. It trades about 14% below its all-time high of $0.1208, set on Oct 12, 2026.
About 1.56B CAP are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 10B (16% issued).
24-hour trading volume was about $57.1M, or 35% of its market cap: very high turnover.
CAP has token contracts on 2 chains we track, including Ethereum, BNB Chain. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.
