Etherlink is an EVM-compatible Layer 2 network built as a Smart Rollup, a rollup that is part of the Tezos protocol itself. Transactions are ordered into blocks on the Etherlink side and settle on Tezos, while the EVM interface is meant to work as a drop-in replacement for Ethereum-compatible chains. That means Solidity contracts and familiar wallets can be used here. The team also announced Instant Confirmations in January 2026, aiming for transaction receipts in under 50 milliseconds.
The network is tied to tez, the Tezos token, which users move from Tezos to Etherlink through a bridging process and use to pay transaction fees. We do not list a separate native Etherlink token. Fees are generally lower than on Ethereum mainnet, but they can change, so check the current cost in your wallet before confirming anything.
The ecosystem is small. DeFi TVL is about $17.4 million at the time of writing. Gearbox offers leveraged credit accounts, and Hanji Protocol runs an on-chain order-book exchange. Superlend is an Aave V3 fork lending market, and UltraYield Curator provides managed yield vaults. Uranium.io issues a token backed by physical uranium, 3route routes swaps, and Lyzi handles crypto payments. LayerZero V2 and Morpho Blue are also listed, but they operate across many chains, so their large TVL figures mostly reflect activity elsewhere.

Etherlink FAQs
What is Etherlink?
Etherlink is a Layer 2 network built as a Smart Rollup on Tezos and compatible with Ethereum tooling. It lets people use Ethereum-style smart contracts and wallets while settling on Tezos. Our list covers 19 dApps that run on it.
Is Etherlink EVM compatible?
Yes. Its EVM interface is designed as a drop-in replacement for Ethereum-compatible chains, so existing Solidity contracts and common wallets and developer tools should work with little change. Always check each dApp's own documentation for network details.
What do you need to pay fees on Etherlink?
Etherlink works with tez, the Tezos token, which is moved over from Tezos to the rollup through a bridging process. Fees are paid in that bridged tez rather than in a separate Etherlink-only coin. Check the official documentation for current fee details before transacting.
Which dApps are on Etherlink?
Gearbox, Hanji Protocol, Superlend, UltraYield Curator, Uranium.io, Symmetric, 3route, Lyzi and Liquidity House are among those listed here. They cover lending, order-book trading, swap routing, real-world assets, payments and gaming liquidity. Large multichain names such as LayerZero V2 and Morpho Blue also appear in our data, but their TVL mostly sits on other chains.
How big is the Etherlink ecosystem?
At the time of writing, DeFi TVL on Etherlink is about $17.4 million. That is small next to the big Ethereum networks, so liquidity can be thin in some markets. Individual protocols range from a few thousand dollars to roughly $24 million.
Are there gambling apps on Etherlink?
Liquidity House provides bankroll liquidity to licensed online gaming operators and is the gambling-related project listed here. You must be 18 or older, or 21 or older where local law requires it, and you should confirm that online gambling is legal where you live. Only use services that are permitted in your jurisdiction.
What is the largest dApp on Etherlink by TVL?
LayerZero V2 is the largest dApp on Etherlink by total value locked, with $16.7B across all the chains it supports. It is followed by Morpho Blue ($10.9B) and Gate ($5.84B). TVL figures come from DefiLlama and change daily.
Which dApp on Etherlink has the highest DappsAtlas score?
Uniswap V3 has the highest score at 8.4/10, ahead of LayerZero V2 (8.0) and Morpho Blue (8.0). Scores weigh security, ease of use, fees and features, and are based only on facts we could verify.
How many dApps are on Etherlink?
DappsAtlas tracks 21 dApps on Etherlink. Of these, 21 have a full review and 15 report value locked, $35.5B in total, counting value on every chain they support.
What are the most common types of dApps on Etherlink?
DEXes (3), Lending (3) and Centralized Exchanges (2) are the largest categories on Etherlink, by number of projects.
Which dApps on Etherlink grew the most this week?
Among dApps with at least $1M locked, Uranium.io had the biggest 7-day TVL gain (+36.1%) and UltraYield Curator the biggest drop (−6.9%). Combined TVL moved +4.3% over the same seven days.
What is the average score for dApps on Etherlink?
The 18 rated dApps on Etherlink average 6.5 out of 10. Of these, 3 score 8 or higher and 2 score below 5.
