WanSwap Review 2026: Wanchain Swaps and Farming

Our verdict on Wanswap

6.1/10

WanSwap may suit Wanchain users who want swaps, liquidity provision and token incentives in one DeFi interface. Its strongest point is the range of documented features, including WASP farming, Hive staking and cross-chain support. The main caveat is that key operating details are not clear: current fee and reward terms are not fully published, and the audit reference lacks auditor, date and scope. Wrapped assets and bridges add risks beyond those of ordinary pool trading.

What is Wanswap?

WanSwap is an automated market maker and decentralized exchange built on Wanchain. Its documentation describes token swaps, liquidity pools, WASP farming, Hive staking and voting by WASP holders.

The platform also describes cross-chain swaps between Wanchain and Ethereum using wrapped tokens. It says users connect compatible wallets, with no signup process, and lists WanLend as a lending service in its broader ecosystem.

The documentation references a code audit but does not specify the auditor, audit date or scope. Current fees, reward rates and the platform's present operating status are also not clearly established.

How Wanswap works

WanSwap uses an automated market maker model. Instead of matching traders in an order book, it lets users swap against token pools funded by liquidity providers. Providers receive WSLP tokens to represent their pool position and may earn a proportional share of trade commissions; the documentation states that commissions can be up to 0.3%.

The platform also describes incentive programs for selected pools, including WASP farming and, for some pairs, ZOO rewards through ZooKeeper. Its Hive feature lets users stake WASP to earn WAN. For cross-chain use, WanSwap describes wrapped tokens and bridges between Wanchain and Ethereum; wrapped assets depend on the systems that issue and redeem them, so they carry risks beyond a standard token swap.

6 features

Key features

01

AMM token swaps

Users trade through an automated market maker, where liquidity pools price swaps rather than matching buy and sell orders in an order book.

02

Liquidity provision

Users can deposit tokens into pools and receive WSLP tokens representing their pool position, according to the documentation.

03

Token farming

Liquidity providers can farm WASP for selected trading pairs. Some pairs are described as eligible for additional ZOO rewards through ZooKeeper.

04

Hive staking

The Hive lets users stake WASP to earn WAN, though current rates and terms are not specified.

05

Cross-chain swaps

WanSwap documents cross-chain swaps between Wanchain and Ethereum using wrapped tokens and Storeman Node-based bridges to convert certain wrapped assets back to their underlying assets.

06

Token-holder voting

WASP holders can vote on matters such as adding swap options, token burns and reward adjustments, according to the documentation.

Pros and cons

What we like

  • Combines token swaps with liquidity provision, farming, staking and governance features.
  • Documentation describes cross-chain swaps between Wanchain and Ethereum.
  • Liquidity providers can earn a proportional share of trade commissions.
  • Wallet-based access is described without a signup process.

Watch out for

  • WanSwap does not publish current fee rates or a clear, up-to-date schedule for farming and staking rewards.
  • Its documentation does not identify the auditor, scope, or date for the code audit it references.
  • Wrapped assets and cross-chain transfers introduce bridge and peg risks beyond ordinary AMM trading.
  • Liquidity providers can lose value through impermanent loss, and WASP rewards may fluctuate in value.
  • The documentation's low network-fee estimate is presented without a current date or guarantee.

Wanswap fees

WanSwap's documentation says liquidity providers can receive up to 0.3% of trade commissions, proportionally to their pool contribution. It does not provide a clear current schedule for swap fees, withdrawal costs or farming and staking terms.

The documentation also describes an average network transaction fee of around one cent, but gives no current date or guarantee for that estimate. Check the transaction details in your wallet before confirming a swap or other action.

Is Wanswap safe?

WanSwap's documentation describes wallet-connected smart-contract transactions and includes a Code Audit section, but it does not identify an auditor or provide the audit's date and scope. Treat smart-contract activity as risky until you can verify the relevant code and audit details yourself.

Cross-chain swaps, wrapped tokens and bridges add risks such as bridge failure, contract exploits and loss of an asset's intended peg. Liquidity providers also face impermanent loss, while farming and staking rewards can change. WanSwap's documentation says it does not require KYC or AML procedures; it does not establish a licensing status. Use only funds you can afford to lose.

6 steps

How to get started with Wanswap

  1. 1

Set up a wallet that supports Wanchain and connect it to WanSwap.

  2. 2

Make sure the wallet holds the tokens you want to use and enough of the network's required asset to cover transaction costs.

  3. 3

For a swap, choose the tokens and amount, then review the quoted output and transaction details before confirming.

  4. 4

For liquidity, select a pool and deposit its required tokens; review the pool terms and potential impermanent loss first.

  5. 5

If you want to farm or stake, check the current WASP, ZOO or WAN reward terms and any lockup or withdrawal conditions before committing tokens.

  6. 6

For cross-chain activity, verify the asset, destination chain and bridge route, and understand the additional wrapped-asset and bridge risks.

Who Wanswap is for

WanSwap is aimed at Wanchain users who understand AMM pools and want to trade tokens, provide liquidity or explore WASP-based farming and staking. It is less suitable for people who need clearly documented current reward terms, independently verifiable audit details or a simple way to avoid bridge and wrapped-token risks.
