Atlantis Review 2026: Small Sonic DEX With a Launchpad

Atlantis is a small DEX-plus-launchpad protocol on Sonic that says it shares revenue with its community. Its very low TVL and thin public detail call for caution.

Our verdict on Atlantis

4.5/10

Atlantis suits experienced DeFi users on Sonic who want to explore a small DEX and launchpad with a revenue-sharing pitch and are comfortable with high risk. Its main strength is the integrated design, with trading, launches and revenue sharing in one place. The main caveat is scale: TVL near 9,454 USD signals thin liquidity, and fees, tokenomics and audit details are not published. Use small amounts and verify everything first.

What is Atlantis?

Atlantis is a DeFi protocol on the Sonic chain. It describes itself as an integrated system that combines a high-performance DEX, a native launchpad and plugins that share revenue with the community.

DefiLlama has tracked it since June 2025 under the DEX category, with a token listed as AQUA and two audits noted. Total value locked is about 9,454 USD, down 13.2% over seven days, which makes it a very small protocol.

Its homepage was not captured in the research, so this review relies on the DefiLlama description. Claims about revenue sharing and a closed-loop design come from the project's own description and are not independently verified here.

How Atlantis works

A decentralized exchange lets users swap tokens directly from their wallets using smart contracts and liquidity pools rather than an order book run by a company. Liquidity providers deposit token pairs into pools and earn a share of trading fees.

Atlantis adds a native launchpad, where new tokens can be launched and traded in the same ecosystem, and plugins that it says feed revenue sharing back to the community. The details of how revenue is collected and distributed are not.

The protocol runs on Sonic, an EVM-compatible chain, so users need a Sonic-compatible wallet and gas.

5 features

Key features

01

Native DEX

Atlantis describes a high-performance DEX as the core of its platform, where users can swap tokens on Sonic.

02

Built-in launchpad

The protocol includes a native launchpad, meant to let new projects launch within the same ecosystem.

03

Revenue-sharing plugins

A suite of plugins is said to feed continuous revenue sharing back to the community.

04

Closed-loop design

The design is described as end-to-end and closed-loop, so that value generated by the DEX and launchpad flows back to users.

05

AQUA token

AQUA is the ticker listed on DefiLlama for the protocol's token.

Pros and cons

What we like

  • Combines a DEX and a launchpad in one protocol on Sonic
  • Describes a revenue-sharing model intended to return value to the community
  • DefiLlama lists two audits
  • Has a listed token, AQUA, and an active social presence
  • Tracked on DefiLlama since June 2025

Watch out for

  • TVL of roughly 9,454 USD is very small, so liquidity is likely thin and trades may suffer slippage
  • TVL fell 13.2% over the past 7 days
  • Runs on a single chain (Sonic), which limits reach
  • Fees, tokenomics and team details are not published
  • Homepage was not available in the research, so product claims cannot be checked against the site
  • Audit details are not described beyond a count of two listed audits

Atlantis fees

Atlantis does not publish fees. Swap fees, launchpad fees and the revenue-share split are not stated.

Users should look at the fee shown in the swap interface before confirming a trade, and read the official documentation for how revenue is split. Network gas on Sonic applies as well.

Is Atlantis safe?

DefiLlama lists two audits, but the auditors and findings are not public. Smart-contract risk remains for any DEX, including bugs, rug-pull risk on launchpad tokens and impermanent loss for liquidity providers.

With TVL under 10,000 USD, liquidity is thin, which raises price manipulation and slippage risk. No hacks or incidents are mentioned publicly, but the track record is short. Use a self-custody wallet, limit exposure and do your own research.

6 steps

How to get started with Atlantis

  1. 1

Visit the official Atlantis website and confirm the address matches the one linked from its verified social account.

  2. 2

Set up a wallet that supports Sonic and fund it with a small amount of the native gas token.

  3. 3

Read the documentation and the two listed audit reports before committing funds.

  4. 4

Connect the wallet and start with a small test swap, checking the fee and price impact shown.

  5. 5

Only provide liquidity or join launchpad sales after you understand the revenue-share terms and the AQUA token's role.

  6. 6

Keep position sizes small given the low TVL.

Who Atlantis is for

Atlantis is for experienced DeFi users already on Sonic who are curious about early-stage protocols and accept high risk. It is a poor fit for beginners or anyone who needs deep liquidity for larger trades.

Atlantis FAQs

What is Atlantis?

Atlantis describes itself as a DeFi protocol that combines a DEX, a native launchpad and a set of plugins that share revenue with the community. It is listed on DefiLlama in the DEX category.

Which blockchain does Atlantis run on?

DefiLlama lists Atlantis on Sonic only. No other chains are named.
