ActiveWOOFi Swap Review 2026: Multi-Chain DEX With Past Exploit
WOOFi Swap is a multi-chain DEX offering swaps, cross-chain swaps, single-sided yield, staking and perpetuals. Its 2024 exploit and modest TVL are the main caveats.

Our verdict on WOOFi Swap
6.8/10WOOFi Swap suits DeFi users who want one interface for swaps, cross-chain trades, single-sided yield and perps across many networks. Its main strength is breadth: 16 chains and a full product set under the WOO ecosystem. The main caveat is security history, since a $8.75M flash loan exploit hit its Arbitrum pricing mechanism in 2024, and TVL is modest today. Fees are only visible in quotes, so check them before trading, and size positions carefully.

What is WOOFi Swap?
WOOFi Swap is a decentralized exchange run within the WOO ecosystem. DefiLlama lists it under DEXs on 16 chains, including Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, BNB Chain, Ethereum, Hyperliquid and Monad. It has been listed since February 2022 and its tracked TVL is about $3.4M, down 2.2% over seven days.
The homepage describes cross-chain swaps, earning, staking and perpetual futures. It claims over $70B in cumulative volume and 250k+ monthly active users. These are the project's own figures and are not independently verified here.
The security record matters. In March 2024, WOOFi's sPMM pricing mechanism on Arbitrum was exploited using a flash loan, with reported losses of about $8.75M. WOOFi said the issue was contained. DefiLlama lists two audits.
How WOOFi Swap works
WOOFi Swap is a decentralized exchange. You connect a wallet, pick tokens and chains, and trade against on-chain liquidity instead of a centralized order book. Funds stay in your wallet until you confirm a transaction.
The docs describe a smart contract that stores supported tokens and defines a quote token and base tokens. Public reporting names the core pricing algorithm as sPMM, a proactive market-making design. Liquidity providers can supply a single asset instead of a pair.
For cross-chain swaps, you choose a different destination network and the interface quotes the route. WOOFi Pro is a separate perpetual futures venue described as a hybrid omnichain orderbook with self-custody.
6 features
Key features
01
Cross-chain swaps
Swap tokens on the same chain or move between chains in one flow. The interface lets you pick source and destination networks and compare quotes.
02
Single-sided earn
The Earn section offers single-sided yield, so users can supply one asset instead of a token pair. This avoids the usual two-asset liquidity pool setup.
03
Staking
The site lists a Stake section alongside Swap and Earn, tied to the WOO ecosystem. Details are in the docs rather than public sources provided.
04
WOOFi Pro perps
WOOFi Pro is described as a hybrid omnichain perpetual futures orderbook with self-custody. Login works with email, social login or a wallet.
05
Analytics tools
The navigation lists Analytics, a Dashboard and a Spot Dune link, plus a third-party analytics page tracking DefiLlama rank.
06
Developer widget
The footer links to Developers and a Widget, suggesting the swap can be embedded or integrated elsewhere.
Pros and cons
What we like
- Wide multi-chain coverage, with 16 chains listed on DefiLlama
- Single-sided earn avoids pairing assets in a liquidity pool
- Cross-chain swaps with quote comparison in one interface
- WOOFi Pro adds self-custodial perpetual futures
- Operating since early 2022, with two audits listed
- Non-custodial design: you trade from your own wallet
Watch out for
- Suffered an $8.75M flash loan exploit of its sPMM pricing mechanism on Arbitrum in March 2024, according to public reporting
- TVL of about $3.4M is small for a DEX spread across 16 chains listed on DefiLlama
- Homepage shows a 'Blocked Address' notice, so access is restricted for some users or wallets, and the criteria are not explained
- Fee levels are not shown until you connect a wallet and request a quote
- Self-reported volume and user figures cannot be verified
- Only two audits are listed on DefiLlama, and their scope and dates are not given
WOOFi Swap fees
WOOFi does not publish a fee table in the material reviewed. The swap box shows a 'Fee' line that fills in once you enter an amount and connect a wallet, so the real cost is visible in the quote before confirming.
You will also pay network gas on each chain, and cross-chain swaps may add bridging costs. Perpetuals fees on WOOFi Pro are not stated publicly; check the docs or the Pro trading interface.
Is WOOFi Swap safe?
WOOFi is non-custodial, so you keep control of your assets in your own wallet. The main risks are smart-contract and pricing-logic bugs, plus the usual risks of bridges and cross-chain routing. DefiLlama lists two audits, but the project does not say who did them or when.
The March 2024 flash loan exploit of the sPMM mechanism on Arbitrum shows these risks are real. WOOFi reported it as contained and said other chains were not affected. Check the docs for any later post-mortem or audit updates.
The site also displays a 'Blocked Address' notice, so access may be restricted. Its regulatory status is not described publicly. Never deposit more than you can afford to lose, and treat leveraged perps as high risk.

To earn, open the Earn section and read the docs on how single-sided yield works before depositing.
- 6
For perps, use WOOFi Pro with an email, social login or wallet, and learn the risks of leverage first.
Who WOOFi Swap is for
WOOFi is for experienced DeFi users who trade across several chains and like single-sided liquidity or self-custodial perps. Beginners should start with small amounts, learn how gas and slippage work, and read the docs and terms first.
