What EUR CoinVertible is
EUR CoinVertible (EURCV) is a euro-denominated stablecoin issued by Societe Generale-FORGE, the digital asset arm of the French bank Societe Generale. Each token is meant to track one euro. It is described as fiat-backed and bank-issued, and it is designed to fit the European Union's Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) framework.
EURCV is not a volatile investment token. Its job is to hold a steady euro value on a blockchain so that it can be moved, settled and used as collateral at any hour. The price in US dollars at the time of writing was about $1.12 (as of 2026-11-05). That figure mostly reflects the euro-to-dollar exchange rate, not a loss or gain in the token itself.
FORGE also issues a dollar counterpart, USDCV, under the same CoinVertible name. The EURCV product is aimed mainly at institutions and businesses, although it can also be found on some exchanges and platforms. The public information available does not give a full breakdown of reserve assets, so anyone relying on the token should read the issuer's own documentation.
What the token is used for
Public descriptions position EURCV for institutional use. The named applications include on-chain settlement, cash management, liquidity funding and corporate treasury work. Payments between businesses, especially across borders, are another stated use. A platform called Fipto announced EURCV support in July 2024 and framed it around corporate cash management and cross-border transactions.
A more recent news item from October 2026 described EURCV as a borrowing and lending asset on Ethereum. It linked this to tokenized collateral management, repo financing and smoother settlement. That is how an on-chain euro with a bank behind it can be useful: it gives lenders and traders a euro asset that settles on a blockchain without leaving the regulated bank-issued setting.
For ordinary users, EURCV is a way to hold euros in a wallet or on a supported exchange. It carries no staking rewards, governance rights or protocol fees by design. Any yield would come from a third-party platform and would carry the platform's own risks.
Supply and tokenomics
EURCV has no fixed maximum supply. The data lists the max supply as not set, which fits a stablecoin: new tokens are created when a customer deposits euros with the issuer and removed when tokens are redeemed. Supply therefore follows demand rather than a preset schedule.
As of 2026-11-05, circulating and total supply were both about 173.6 million EURCV. The market cap and fully diluted value were each about $194.8 million, which placed it around rank 173 by market cap. Reported 24-hour trading volume was about $33.9 million. Because the circulating and total supply are the same, there is no locked or vesting pool.
There is no tokenomics model in the usual crypto sense: no emissions, no team allocation, no burn schedule and no governance token. The relevant questions are what backs the token, who can redeem it and under what terms. Those details sit in the issuer's documents and in MiCA disclosures, not in the on-chain contract.
In dollar terms the one-year change was about -2.3%, and the seven-day change was about +0.7%. Both mostly reflect euro-dollar currency moves.
Chains and how it is held and traded
EURCV is issued on four networks: Ethereum, the XRP Ledger, Stellar and Solana. It is also tagged under the Canton ecosystem. It is not the native token of any chain, so you still need each network's own coin to pay transaction fees when you move it.
Stellar support was announced in February 2025, with the stated aim of using that network's speed and low cost. The same token is not interchangeable across chains by default. A EURCV balance on Solana is separate from one on Ethereum, and moving between them requires a supported bridge or an exchange withdrawal. Sending tokens to an address on the wrong network can mean permanent loss.
On the trading side, EURCV has appeared on several venues, and Bit2me announced a listing of EURCV and USDCV in October 2025. Liquidity is thinner than for the largest dollar stablecoins, so large trades can move the price on some venues. Check which networks a platform supports for deposits and withdrawals before sending anything.
History and notable events
the public information available do not give an official launch date for EURCV, so this page does not state one. What is publicly reported begins with FORGE's CoinVertible project, which later covered both EURCV and USDCV. The Fipto integration came in July 2024, and the Stellar integration was announced in February 2025. The recorded all-time low of about $0.9885 dates to 2025-02-04, which again mostly reflects the euro-dollar rate at that time.
Bit2me announced listings in October 2025, and December 2025 coverage highlighted the two tokens as MiCA-compliant products from Societe Generale. A March 2026 announcement described another network launch for EURCV, and an October 2026 update highlighted its use as a lending and borrowing asset on Ethereum. The all-time high of about $1.22 was recorded on 2026-01-26, again in dollar terms.
No major depeg, hack or redemption halt appears in the information available here. That does not guarantee none occurred, so check recent issuer notices.
Risks to understand
The main risk is issuer and reserve risk. EURCV's stability depends on the reserves and on the issuer's ability and willingness to redeem. A bank-issued, regulated token reduces some concerns, but it does not remove them. Redemption rights may be limited to approved institutional clients, so a retail holder may depend on an exchange to convert tokens back to euros.
Other risks include:
- Currency risk: if you think in dollars, the value moves with EUR/USD.
- Liquidity risk: trading volume is modest, and spreads can widen in stressed markets.
- Smart contract and bridge risk: the token exists on four chains, and each deployment or bridge is a possible point of failure.
- Regulatory risk: MiCA rules and their interpretation may change, and a token that fits today's rules can face new obligations.
- Freeze and compliance controls: regulated issuers often keep the ability to block certain addresses, so access is not unconditional.

How to store it safely
How you store EURCV depends on how much you hold and why. For small amounts, a reputable exchange account may be enough, but you rely on the exchange's security and solvency. Enable two-factor authentication and use a unique password.
For self-custody, use a wallet that supports the specific chain you are using: an Ethereum-compatible wallet, a Solana wallet, a Stellar wallet or an XRP Ledger wallet. A hardware wallet adds protection where the chain is supported. Write your recovery phrase on paper, keep it offline, and never share it or type it into a website.
Before receiving EURCV, confirm that the token is on the same network as your wallet address. Start with a small test transfer. Hold a little of the chain's native coin for fees. Be careful with look-alike tokens: check the contract address or asset issuer against the issuer's official documentation. Also check whether the wallet or custodian handles compliance-related freezes. Businesses should use institutional custody and keep records for audit and tax purposes.
By the numbers
EUR CoinVertible in numbers

EURCV FAQs
What is EURCV?
EURCV is a euro stablecoin issued by Societe Generale-FORGE, intended to track the euro one to one. It is designed to align with the EU's MiCA rules and is mainly marketed for institutional uses such as settlement and treasury management.
Why is EURCV priced above $1?
EURCV is pegged to the euro, not the dollar. At the time of writing it traded around $1.12 (as of 2026-11-05), which reflects the euro-dollar exchange rate rather than the token drifting from its peg.
Which blockchains does EURCV run on?
EURCV is issued on Ethereum, the XRP Ledger, Stellar and Solana. Balances on different chains are separate, so you need the right network when depositing or withdrawing, and a bridge or exchange to move between them.
Is EURCV safe?
It is described as fiat-backed and bank-issued, and it is built for MiCA compliance. That is not a guarantee. You still face issuer, reserve, liquidity, smart contract and regulatory risks, and redemption may be limited to certain clients.
What is the supply of EURCV?
EURCV has no fixed maximum supply. Tokens are created when euros are deposited with the issuer and removed on redemption. As of 2026-11-05, about 173.6 million were in circulation.
Does EURCV pay interest?
EURCV is not designed to earn a return by holding it, and it has no staking or governance function. Any yield would come from a lending or DeFi platform, which adds its own risks. This page does not offer investment advice.
What is the market cap of EUR CoinVertible?
