KittyPunch PunchSwap Review 2026: A Flow DEX With Smart Routing

PunchSwap is the main decentralized exchange from the KittyPunch ecosystem on Flow, with a smart-router swap, concentrated-liquidity pools and farms. It is a small-liquidity venue, so check pool depth and audit status before trading size.

Our verdict on KittyPunch PunchSwap

5.5/10

PunchSwap suits Flow users who want a native DEX with swaps, concentrated-liquidity pools and farms in one app. Its main strength is that it is built for Flow and offers a routed swap with a broad set of tools. The main caveat is size: TVL is under $400,000, volume is low, and no audits are listed, so treat it as a small-scale venue and check quotes and contract documentation before trading.

What is KittyPunch PunchSwap?

PunchSwap is a decentralized exchange on Flow from KittyPunch, a DeFi platform that describes itself as designed for consumer adoption. It has been tracked since October 2024 and is one of the named swap venues in Flow's own developer documentation, alongside IncrementSwap.

The interface goes beyond a swap box. The menu lists Markets, Swap, Froth, Volatility, Strategies, Liquidity, Farms, Analytics, Tools, Indices and Trenches, so it positions itself as a broader DeFi hub for the Flow ecosystem.

Liquidity is small. Tracked TVL is about $399,000, down about 8% over seven days, and the separate V3 listing reports TVL of about $20,000 with minimal daily volume. That makes it a niche venue rather than a deep market.

How KittyPunch PunchSwap works

PunchSwap is an automated market maker. Instead of matching buyers and sellers in an order book, it uses liquidity pools, which are smart contracts holding pairs of tokens. When you swap, you trade against a pool and the price moves based on the pool's balance.

The swap page uses a Smart Router, which looks for a route between your chosen tokens and estimates the output. PunchSwap V3 is described as a concentrated-liquidity design, meaning providers can place liquidity within chosen price ranges to use capital more efficiently, at the cost of more active management.

Liquidity providers earn a share of trading fees, and the Farms section points to extra incentives for staking liquidity positions. The KittyPunch ecosystem also includes StableKitty, a related stable-asset swap protocol, which other products such as Kona on Abstract build on.

Pros and cons

What we like

  • Native DEX on Flow, referenced in Flow's own developer documentation as a swap option
  • Smart Router on the swap page that selects a route for each trade
  • Includes concentrated-liquidity V3 pools, plus liquidity, farms and other sections in one interface
  • Non-custodial: you connect your own wallet rather than depositing with a company
  • Documentation and a disclaimer are linked from the app, and no token is required to use it

Watch out for

  • TVL is small, at roughly $399,000, so large trades can face thin liquidity and price impact
  • No audits are listed in the protocol's tracking data, and the homepage shows an audits label without visible details
  • Activity is low, with the V3 listing reporting 24-hour volume of only a few hundred dollars at the time of the snippet
  • Runs only on Flow, so it is of no use to anyone who needs cross-chain trading
  • No governance token and no published team or fee schedule on the swap page, so some details are hard to verify

KittyPunch PunchSwap fees

PunchSwap does not publish a fee schedule on its swap page text. As with most DEXs, you would expect a per-trade pool fee set by each pool, plus Flow network transaction costs, and the quote in the app is where you should check both before signing.

There is no protocol token listed, so there are no token-based fee discounts to account for. Liquidity providers should check each pool's fee tier and any farm reward terms in the Liquidity and Farms sections.

Is KittyPunch PunchSwap safe?

PunchSwap is non-custodial, so you keep your tokens in your wallet until you swap or deposit into a pool. The main risks are smart-contract bugs, pool price impact on thin liquidity and impermanent loss for liquidity providers, especially in concentrated ranges.

The protocol's tracking data lists no audits, and the swap page shows an audits label without visible details. The project does not publish a team, licence or insurance cover on the page text. Check the linked documentation for audit reports, and only commit funds you can afford to lose. Always verify you are on the official site before connecting a wallet.

6 steps

How to get started with KittyPunch PunchSwap

  1. 1

Open the official PunchSwap site and read the documentation and disclaimer links first.

  2. 2

Set up a wallet that supports Flow and fund it with a small amount of FLOW for network costs.

  3. 3

Select Connect Wallet and approve the connection.

  4. 4

Pick the From and To tokens on the swap page and enter an amount.

  5. 5

Review the route shown by the Smart Router, the estimated output and any price impact, then confirm the swap.

  6. 6

Start with a small test trade before moving larger amounts, given the modest pool depth.

Who KittyPunch PunchSwap is for

PunchSwap is for Flow users who want to swap tokens or provide liquidity without leaving the KittyPunch ecosystem, and who are comfortable with a small DEX. It is less suited to traders needing deep liquidity, cross-chain access or formally audited contracts.

KittyPunch PunchSwap FAQs

What is KittyPunch PunchSwap?

PunchSwap is a decentralized exchange on the Flow blockchain, built by the KittyPunch team. It lets you swap tokens through a smart router, provide liquidity and join farms, using your own wallet.

Which blockchain does PunchSwap run on?

The DEX is listed on Flow only. KittyPunch's Kona product is a separate listing on Abstract, built on PunchSwap and StableKitty infrastructure, and should not be confused with this one.

Does PunchSwap have its own token?

No token is listed for PunchSwap in the protocol's tracking data. Check the official documentation for any future token plans rather than relying on third-party claims.

Has PunchSwap been audited?

The protocol's tracking data lists no audits, and the swap page shows an audits label without details visible in its text. Check the documentation link on the site for any audit reports before depositing funds.

What are the fees on PunchSwap?

The swap page does not publish a fee table in its visible text. Liquidity-pool fees and Flow network costs should appear when you review a trade in the app, so read the quote before confirming.

Is PunchSwap liquid enough for large trades?

Total value locked is around $399,000 and trading volume is low. That is workable for small swaps, but larger orders may see significant price impact, so compare quotes and pool depth first.
