Our verdict on Hybra V4

5.5/10

Hybra V4 suits experienced DeFi users on HyperEVM who understand concentrated liquidity and ve(3,3) lock-and-vote systems and want exposure to a small, early-stage DEX. Its main strength is a feature set that combines dynamic fees, hooks and a vote-escrow reward model. The main caveat is risk: no audits are listed, TVL is below $1 million, and the track record is short. Size positions accordingly and verify everything through official channels.

What is Hybra V4?

Hybra V4 is a decentralized exchange built on HyperEVM, the EVM layer in the Hyperliquid ecosystem. It describes itself as a concentrated liquidity AMM with dynamic fees, Uniswap V4-inspired hooks and a ve(3,3) emissions model aimed at long-term liquidity and real yield.

The protocol was listed in October 2025 and holds under $1 million in total value locked. TVL rose by roughly 44% over the latest seven days, though from a small base. Its token is HYBR.

Before launch the project ran a points programme and a community sale, and its posts describe HYPE payouts to badge holders. A dashboard now lets users track liquidity positions and claim rewards. Audits are not listed, and the homepage gives little detail on the team or fee schedule.

How Hybra V4 works

Hybra V4 is an automated market maker. Instead of an order book, traders swap against pools of tokens supplied by liquidity providers. In a concentrated liquidity design, providers place capital within a chosen price range, so their funds earn fees only while the market trades inside that range.

Fees are not fixed. The protocol adjusts them based on volatility and trading volume, and pools can use hooks, which are custom code that runs around swaps, in the style of Uniswap V4.

Incentives follow the ve(3,3) model. Holders lock HYBR to receive veHYBR, vote for pools to receive emissions, and share in the fees and rewards those pools generate. The aim is to steer liquidity toward pools that voters back and to reward long-term participants.

6 features

Key features

01

Concentrated liquidity pools

Liquidity providers pick price ranges instead of spreading capital across all prices, which can improve capital efficiency and trading depth around the current price.

02

Dynamic fee adjustment

Swap fees move with volatility and trading volume, with the aim of compensating liquidity providers more when markets are choppy.

03

Uniswap V4-style hooks

Inspired by Uniswap V4, hooks let pools run custom logic during swaps, which allows more specialised pool designs.

04

ve(3,3) emissions model

Locking HYBR gives veHYBR, which is used to vote on emissions and share in fees and incentives, in the aim of encouraging long-term liquidity.

05

Liquidity dashboard

A dashboard lets users track liquidity positions and claim rewards in one place, and it previews how veHYBR rewards will look.

06

Points and community distribution

A points programme and community sale preceded the token launch, with a stated plan to give points holders a share of veHYBR at launch.

Pros and cons

What we like

  • Concentrated liquidity can make capital more efficient for providers who manage their ranges.
  • Volatility-based dynamic fees are designed to better compensate liquidity providers in fast markets.
  • Hooks allow custom pool logic, giving room for more specialised products.
  • The ve(3,3) model ties rewards to long-term lockers and voters.
  • A dashboard centralises positions and reward claims.

Watch out for

  • No audits are listed for the protocol, so smart-contract risk is unquantified.
  • TVL is under $1 million, which means thin liquidity and likely higher slippage on larger trades.
  • The project is young, listed since October 2025, with a short track record.
  • Hooks add custom swap logic, which widens the attack surface compared with a plain AMM.
  • Rewards depend on the HYBR token and ve(3,3) emissions, which can be volatile and dilutive.
  • Team details and fee schedules are not published on the homepage.

Hybra V4 fees

Hybra V4 uses dynamic fees that change with volatility and volume, so there is no single flat swap fee. The specific fee tiers, bounds and the split between liquidity providers and veHYBR voters are not published on the homepage.

Users should check the fee shown on each pool in the app before swapping or adding liquidity. On top of protocol fees, HyperEVM gas costs and price impact in shallow pools apply.

Is Hybra V4 safe?

No audits are listed for Hybra V4, and the homepage does not publish team identities or a bug bounty. That leaves smart-contract risk, including risk from hooks and custom swap logic, without independent assurance. The protocol is non-custodial in the usual DEX sense: users keep their tokens in their wallets and only deposit into pools by choice.

Other risks include impermanent loss for liquidity providers, token price swings in HYBR emissions, and thin liquidity at under $1 million TVL. Check contract addresses and use only the official site to avoid phishing. No regulatory status or incidents are stated.

6 steps

How to get started with Hybra V4

  1. 1

Set up a wallet that supports HyperEVM and add the network.

  2. 2

Fund it with HYPE for gas and the tokens you want to trade or provide.

  3. 3

Open the official Hybra app and check the network and contract addresses before connecting.

  4. 4

Swap, or choose a pool and set a price range for a concentrated liquidity position, reviewing the current dynamic fee.

  5. 5

Use the dashboard to monitor positions and claim rewards.

  6. 6

Consider locking HYBR for veHYBR only after reading how voting and emissions work.

Who Hybra V4 is for

Hybra V4 is for active DeFi users already on HyperEVM who are comfortable managing price ranges, locking tokens for voting power and accepting early-stage protocol risk. It is not a good fit for beginners or anyone who needs deep liquidity for large trades.

Hybra V4 FAQs

What is Hybra V4?

Hybra V4 is a decentralized exchange on HyperEVM, the EVM environment of the Hyperliquid ecosystem. It uses concentrated liquidity pools, where providers choose a price range for their capital. Its token is HYBR.

Which blockchain does Hybra V4 use?

It runs on HyperEVM, which is tracked under the Hyperliquid chain. You need a wallet that supports that network and some HYPE for gas.

How do trading fees work on Hybra?

Fees adjust automatically based on volatility and volume rather than staying fixed. The exact fee tiers and ranges are not published on the homepage, so check the pool details in the app before trading or providing liquidity.

What does ve(3,3) mean?

ve(3,3) is a model where users lock a protocol token to get voting power, here veHYBR. Voters direct token emissions to chosen pools and typically earn a share of the fees and incentives those pools generate. It rewards long-term holders over short-term traders.

Is Hybra V4 audited?

No audits are listed for the protocol. That does not mean the contracts are unsafe, but it means users have no independent review to rely on. Treat deposits as high risk and only commit what you can afford to lose.

Does Hybra have an airdrop or points programme?

The project ran a points programme before its token launch, and public posts describe HYPE distributions to badge holders and a plan to give a share of veHYBR to points holders. Terms can change, so read the current rules in the official app and announcements.
