Our verdict on FlowSwap V3

FlowSwap V3 suits Flow users who want a native, non-custodial place to swap tokens or provide concentrated liquidity, and who already understand how Uniswap V3 pools behave. Its main strength is a familiar, proven design on a smaller chain. The main caveat is risk: no audits are listed, TVL is only about $3.7 million, and fee tiers and team details are not published. Treat it as an early-stage venue and size positions accordingly.

What is FlowSwap V3?

FlowSwap V3 is a decentralized exchange on the Flow blockchain. It is described as a Uniswap V3 fork and has been tracked since 31 October 2025.

At the time of writing it holds roughly $3.7 million in total value locked, down about 5.7% over seven days. That makes it a small venue, and no security audits are listed for it.

The project publishes little detail about its team, fee tiers or governance in the sources reviewed, so users should check the official site and community channels for current information.

How FlowSwap V3 works

FlowSwap V3 follows the Uniswap V3 design. Instead of an order book, trades execute against liquidity pools that hold two tokens. Prices move automatically as traders buy one token and sell the other.

In the V3 model, liquidity providers choose a price range for their capital. Money inside the active range earns trading fees, which makes capital more efficient than older pool designs. If the price leaves the range, the position stops earning fees and may end up fully in one token.

This gives deeper liquidity near the current price but requires providers to manage ranges and accept impermanent loss risk.

3 features

Key features

01

Concentrated liquidity pools

As a Uniswap V3 fork, liquidity providers can place capital within chosen price ranges rather than across the whole curve.

02

Non-custodial token swaps

Users swap tokens directly from their own wallets through smart contracts, without an account or deposit with a company.

03

Flow-native deployment

The exchange is deployed on Flow, giving Flow users a native venue for trading.

Pros and cons

What we like

  • Brings familiar, widely understood Uniswap V3 concentrated-liquidity mechanics to Flow
  • Non-custodial: trades happen from the user's own wallet
  • Native to the Flow network, which suits users already holding assets there
  • Open, permissionless pools rather than an account-based exchange

Watch out for

  • No audits are listed for the protocol, so smart-contract risk is unquantified
  • Liquidity is modest at roughly $3.7M TVL, so larger trades may see heavy slippage
  • TVL fell about 5.7% over the last seven days
  • Fee tiers, team and governance details are not published in the sources reviewed
  • Concentrated liquidity carries impermanent loss risk and needs active management

FlowSwap V3 fees

FlowSwap V3 does not publish a fee schedule in the sources reviewed. Uniswap V3-style exchanges typically offer several pool fee tiers, with the fee paid by traders and shared among liquidity providers, but the exact tiers here should be confirmed in the app.

Users also pay Flow network transaction fees and bear price impact on thinner pools. Check the quoted fee and slippage before confirming any swap.

Is FlowSwap V3 safe?

No audits are listed for FlowSwap V3. Forked code can inherit the security record of the original design, but deployment changes, new integrations and parameter choices can introduce their own bugs. Smart-contract risk should be treated as meaningful.

The exchange is non-custodial, so you keep control of your keys, but funds placed in pools are exposed to contract failures, price swings and impermanent loss. The project does not publish licensing or regulatory details in the sources reviewed. Always confirm you are on the official site before connecting a wallet.

5 steps

How to get started with FlowSwap V3

  1. 1

Set up a wallet that supports the Flow network and keep a small FLOW balance for network fees.

  2. 2

Open the official FlowSwap site and connect the wallet, checking the address carefully to avoid imitation sites.

  3. 3

Select the tokens to swap and review the quoted price, pool fee and expected slippage.

  4. 4

Start with a small test trade before moving larger amounts.

  5. 5

If providing liquidity, choose a price range deliberately and understand impermanent loss first.

Who FlowSwap V3 is for

FlowSwap V3 is for DeFi users already active on Flow who are comfortable with wallet-based trading and with the risks of a small, unaudited exchange. Liquidity providers should understand concentrated-liquidity ranges and impermanent loss before depositing.
