What BIM is
BIM is a token issued on the Base network, the Ethereum layer-2 chain. Data aggregators file it under decentralized finance and as a Base-native asset. On our site it is linked to BIM Yield, a multichain DeFi yield platform that offers vaults, swaps, staking and a fiat on-ramp, and is aimed at users outside the US and EU.
The name causes confusion. Searching for "BIM" turns up unrelated things, including the construction term Building Information Modeling and a campus currency called BIMCOIN. Neither has anything to do with this token. When checking a BIM listing, confirm that it is the Base-issued token with a total supply of 30 million.
BIM does not have its own blockchain. It is an ordinary token that lives on Base, so it moves with the same wallets and tools as other assets there. The project description in the public data we hold is thin, and no official launch date is recorded in our dataset. Public listings describe it as a 2025 launch, and its price history starts around April 2025, which fits that.
What the token is used for
the public information available to us do not say exactly what BIM does inside the BIM Yield platform, so we will not guess. The platform itself bundles several DeFi services: yield vaults, token swaps, staking and a way to buy crypto with fiat currency. The token is associated with that platform as its issuing project.
Common roles for a platform token include governance votes, fee discounts, staking rewards or incentives. We cannot confirm that BIM serves any of these. Check the project's own documentation for the current token functions, and check whether those functions are live or only planned.
One practical point is that a token with a stated use is different from a token that is merely traded. Ask whether you must hold BIM to use any feature, whether it earns anything, and who decides how it can be used. If the documentation is vague on these questions, treat the token as a speculative asset with unclear utility.
Supply and tokenomics
BIM has a fixed supply of 30,000,000 tokens. Circulating, total and maximum supply are all listed at that same figure, which means no further tokens are expected to be minted according to the data we have. It also means fully diluted valuation equals market cap.
As of 2026-11-05, the price was about $1.57, giving a market cap of about $47.2 million and a rank near 468 by market cap. Trading volume over 24 hours was small, roughly $227,600, which is under 0.5% of market cap.
What we cannot tell you is how the 30 million tokens were first distributed. The data does not show allocations for team, investors, treasury or community, nor any vesting schedule. A fully circulating supply on paper can still hide concentrated holdings. Look at the token contract's holder list on a Base block explorer to see how much sits in a few wallets, and check whether the project has published a distribution breakdown.
Chain, holding and trading
BIM is issued on Base, so you hold it in any wallet that supports Base, such as a self-custody browser or mobile wallet set to that network. The wallet needs a small amount of ETH on Base to pay transaction fees.
Trading in general terms works in two ways. On-chain, you swap through decentralized exchanges on Base, where liquidity sits in pools that anyone can use. Off-chain, centralized exchanges may list the token, and some search snippets mention exchange-quoted BIM prices in euros and a listing on a crypto super app. We have not verified which venues are live, so confirm any listing yourself.
The low daily volume relative to market cap suggests liquidity is limited. In thin markets, larger orders can move the price noticeably, so check the quoted slippage before you confirm a swap. Always copy the token contract address from the project's official channels rather than from a search result, because fake tokens with the same name and symbol are common on low-cost chains.
History and notable events
Our dataset records no official launch date, but price history begins in 2025. The recorded all-time low was about $0.86 on 2025-04-08, and the all-time high was about $3.07 on 2025-08-24. As of 2026-11-05 the price sat roughly halfway between those, near $1.57.
Over the preceding year the token was down about 23%, while the prior seven days showed a gain of about 4.5%. Those figures only describe the past and say nothing about what comes next.
We found no verified record of hacks, audits, major partnerships or token burns, and we will not claim any. One search snippet refers to a listing on a crypto super app, but we cannot confirm the details. For the platform's own history, such as when vaults or the fiat on-ramp went live, read the project's announcements and any published audit reports directly.
Risks
Liquidity and volatility. Daily volume is small against market cap. Prices can swing, and exiting a large position may be hard.
Unclear utility and distribution. The token's role in BIM Yield and the initial allocation of its 30 million supply are not clear from the data we hold. Missing information is itself a risk.
Smart contract risk. Yield vaults, swaps and staking all rely on code. Bugs, exploits or poorly designed strategies can lead to losses, and audits do not remove that risk.
Regulatory and access limits. The platform is described as aimed at users outside the US and EU. Rules differ by country, so check what applies where you live. Do not try to get around geographic restrictions or identity checks.
Impersonation. Fake tokens and phishing sites copy popular names. The overlap with unrelated "BIM" projects makes mistakes easier.

How to store BIM safely
Because BIM is a standard Base token, the usual self-custody practices apply.
- Use a wallet you control. A hardware wallet paired with a software interface is a stronger option for larger amounts than keeping tokens on an exchange.
- Protect your recovery phrase. Write it down offline, never photograph it or store it in cloud notes, and never type it into a website. No legitimate support team will ask for it.
- Verify the contract address. Get it from the project's official channels and compare it across a block explorer before swapping or approving anything.
- Limit token approvals. When you interact with vaults or swap tools, approve only the amount you need and revoke old permissions periodically.
- Keep a small ETH balance on Base so you can always pay fees to move or revoke.
- Test first. Send a small amount before moving a large one.
If you leave tokens on an exchange for convenience, remember that you rely on that company's security and withdrawal policies.
By the numbers
BIM in numbers
BIM (BIM) is ranked #479 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $43.9M and a price of $1.46 as of Nov 6, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($43.9M) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.
The price was down 0.5% over 7 days, down 14.5% over 30 days, down 30.2% over the past year. It trades about 52% below its all-time high of $3.07, set on Aug 24, 2025.
About 30M BIM are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 30M (100% issued).
24-hour trading volume was about $216K, or 0.5% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.
BIM has token contracts on Base. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.
BIM is linked to BIM Yield, which we cover in our Yield Aggregator rankings. See our BIM Yield page for how the protocol works and how we score it.

BIM FAQs
What is the BIM token?
BIM is a token issued on the Base network with a total supply of 30 million. On our site it is connected to BIM Yield, a multichain DeFi platform with vaults, swaps, staking and a fiat on-ramp. Its exact function inside that platform is not spelled out in the data we hold.
Which blockchain is BIM on?
BIM is issued on Base, an Ethereum layer-2 network. It does not have its own separate blockchain. You need a wallet that supports Base and a little ETH there for fees.
What is the supply of BIM?
Supply is fixed at 30,000,000 BIM, and all of it is listed as circulating. That means fully diluted valuation matches market cap, about $47.2 million as of 2026-11-05. The data does not show how the tokens were initially allocated.
Is BIM the same as BIM in construction or BIMCOIN?
No. BIM is unrelated to Building Information Modeling, and it is not the BIMCOIN campus currency. Check that the contract is the Base-issued token from the official BIM Yield channels before you trade.
Why does the BIM price move so much?
Prices are set by supply and demand, and trading volume is low relative to the token's market cap, so moves can be sharp. As of 2026-11-05 it was down about 23% over one year. We do not forecast prices or give buy or sell advice.
Can I use BIM Yield from anywhere?
The platform is described as aimed at users outside the US and EU, and rules differ between countries. Check the terms of service and your local regulations. Do not use workarounds to bypass location limits or identity checks.
What is the market cap of BIM?
As of Nov 6, 2026, BIM had a market cap of about $43.9M, ranking #479 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
What is the all-time high of BIM?
BIM's all-time high is $3.07, reached on Aug 24, 2025. Its all-time low is $0.8620 (Apr 8, 2025). Past prices say nothing about future returns.
What is the circulating supply of BIM?
As of Nov 6, 2026, about 30M BIM were in circulation, against a maximum supply of 30M.
Which blockchains is BIM on?
It has token contracts on Base.
