What Aethir is
Aethir is a decentralized cloud computing network focused on GPU power. Instead of one company owning all the hardware, the network connects independent GPU providers with customers who need compute. The project describes itself as an enterprise-grade GPU-as-a-service platform, aimed mainly at AI and machine learning workloads that need high-end chips such as H100s, and at cloud gaming.
The model works like a marketplace. Providers, often called containers in Aethir's terminology, supply hardware. Clients rent that capacity and pay for it. The project says everything in its ecosystem is meant to be decentralized and community-owned, though in practice the company and its partners play a large role in how the network operates and who the main customers are.
ATH is the token tied to this network. It sits alongside the compute business rather than being the product itself: the service is GPU capacity, and the token is the payment and incentive layer around it. On our site Aethir is categorised under AI, infrastructure and DePIN (decentralized physical infrastructure) tokens, and the issuing project is scored 6.8 out of 10.
What ATH is used for
Public descriptions give ATH several roles. The most basic is payment: clients can use it to pay for GPU compute for AI applications and cloud gaming. Providers who contribute hardware are rewarded in the token for making capacity available.
Beyond that, holders can stake ATH to earn rewards and can vote on protocol proposals, according to exchange help pages that summarise the token. There is also a restaking angle. Aethir announced an EigenLayer integration that lets holders stake ATH through a vault and receive a liquid receipt token called eATH, which is meant to let them seek additional rewards.
It is worth separating the token's roles from the network's revenue. The project has cited on-chain revenue figures of its own, including an annualised figure of about $91 million in early 2025, but those are project-reported numbers and do not by themselves tell you how much value flows to ATH holders. How much customer spending is actually paid in or converted to ATH is a question to check in the project's own documentation.
Supply and tokenomics
ATH has a fixed maximum supply of 42 billion tokens, and the total supply equals that maximum. As of 2026-11-05, about 20.1 billion tokens were in circulation, which is roughly 48% of the total. The rest is still locked or scheduled for release.
That gap shows up in the valuation figures. At the time of writing the market capitalisation was about $108 million, while the fully diluted valuation, which assumes every token exists, was about $226 million. The token ranked around 262nd by market cap.
The practical point is that further unlocks can add supply to the market over time. Readers should look at the project's published allocation and vesting schedule, covering team, investors, ecosystem and provider rewards, to see when more tokens are due. The data we hold here does not include that schedule, so we do not state specific unlock dates or percentages.
Chains and how it is held
ATH is issued on Ethereum, Arbitrum and Solana. It is not the native token of its own layer-1 chain, so it does not secure a blockchain through mining or staking consensus. It is a standard token on those networks.
Most people hold and trade ATH through centralised exchanges, several of which list it, with the usual caveat that availability depends on your country. It can also be held in self-custody wallets that support the relevant chain. Ethereum and Arbitrum use the same style of address, so an Ethereum-compatible wallet works for both, while Solana needs a Solana-compatible wallet.
Because the same token exists on several chains, check which network you are using before you deposit or withdraw. Sending ATH on the wrong network to an exchange address can lead to lost or hard-to-recover funds. Bridges and wrapped versions carry their own risks, so use only routes documented by the project or the exchange.
History and price context
Aethir's token reached an all-time high of about $0.1185 on 2024-06-12. As of 2026-11-05 the price was about $0.0054, roughly 95% below that peak. The token set its all-time low of about $0.0036 on 2026-08-14, so it is trading modestly above that level. Over the past year it fell about 77%, and it was down about 5% over the previous seven days.
Notable events in the public record include the EigenLayer vault integration announced in early 2025 and the project's claims of strong on-chain revenue. The token also appears in lists such as Animoca Brands' portfolio and Binance Alpha Spotlight, as well as launchpad and ecosystem categories. Our data does not give an exact launch date, so we do not state one.
The lesson from the history is that revenue growth reported by a project and token price can move in different directions, especially when new supply keeps arriving.
Risks
Demand risk. The thesis depends on real, lasting demand for decentralized GPU compute. Aethir competes with large cloud providers and with other decentralized compute networks, and GPU pricing and availability shift quickly.
Supply risk. With a little over half the supply circulating, future unlocks may weigh on the market.
Value-capture risk. Business revenue does not automatically translate into demand for ATH. Check how payments, rewards and any buybacks or burns actually work.
Concentration and counterparty risk. Customer relationships, including the telecom contracts the project mentions, may be concentrated and are largely project-reported. Independent verification is limited.
Smart-contract and restaking risk. Using staking vaults or liquid receipt tokens such as eATH adds contract risk on top of holding the token.
Market risk. Volume was about $13 million over 24 hours at the time of writing, and the price has been highly volatile. This is general information, not a recommendation to buy or sell.
How to store ATH safely
For small amounts, a reputable exchange account with two-factor authentication is a common option, but exchange balances are an IOU held by a third party. For larger holdings, many people prefer self-custody.
A hardware wallet paired with a wallet app that supports Ethereum, Arbitrum or Solana is a typical setup. Write down the recovery phrase on paper, store it offline, and never type it into a website or share it with anyone, including anyone claiming to be support staff.
Do a small test transfer before moving a large amount, and double-check the network and contract address against the project's official documentation, since fake tokens with the same name are common. Be careful with staking and restaking approvals: connect only to official interfaces and revoke permissions you no longer need. Keep records of your transactions for tax purposes, as rules vary by country.
By the numbers
Aethir in numbers
Aethir (ATH) is ranked #273 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $99.4M and a price of $0.004939 as of Nov 6, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $207M, so roughly 48% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.
The price was down 4.8% over 7 days, down 28.1% over 30 days, down 79.7% over the past year. It trades about 96% below its all-time high of $0.1185, set on Jun 12, 2024.
About 20.13B ATH are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 42B (48% issued).
24-hour trading volume was about $12.7M, or 13% of its market cap: high turnover.
ATH has token contracts on 3 chains we track, including Ethereum, Arbitrum, Solana. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.
