Stabull Finance Review 2026: Oracle-Based Stablecoin DEX

Stabull Finance is a curated AMM for non-USD stablecoins and tokenized real-world assets on Polygon, Base and Ethereum. It targets low-slippage FX-style swaps, but liquidity is still small.

By the DappsAtlas editorial team · Updated

Our verdict on Stabull Finance

6.5/10

Stabull Finance suits traders and liquidity providers who want on-chain swaps between non-USD stablecoins and tokenized assets like gold. Its main strength is the oracle-centered design, which targets low slippage on FX-style pairs across Polygon, Base and Ethereum. The main caveat is size: TVL is only in the tens of thousands of dollars, the STABUL token is worth a fraction of a cent, and swap fees are not clearly published. Read the audit reports and check quotes on small trades first.

What is Stabull Finance?

Stabull Finance is a decentralized exchange for stablecoins and tokenized real-world assets. It is live on Polygon, Base and Ethereum and lists more than 17 local-currency stablecoins, including BRZ, EURC, ZARP, NZDS and AUDD, plus gold-backed tokens such as PAXG and XAUT.

The pitch is cheap, low-slippage foreign exchange on-chain. The homepage describes a curated DEX, where assets are selected rather than listed freely, and offers a form for issuers to submit their assets.

The project reports about 82,500 swaps and roughly $25 million in cumulative volume. Current TVL is small, at about $33,000 on the homepage and about $18,000 on DefiLlama. It is run by Stabull Labs LLC and has a native token, STABUL, used for liquidity mining rewards and governance.

How Stabull Finance works

Stabull is an automated market maker, meaning traders swap against pools of tokens instead of an order book. Most stablecoin AMMs assume one fixed price. Stabull instead reads an offchain oracle price, for example the BRL/USD rate, and arranges pool liquidity around it.

Because liquidity sits close to the real exchange rate, swaps near that price should see less slippage. For liquidity providers, concentrating around the oracle price is meant to improve capital efficiency, so less capital is needed for the same depth.

Liquidity providers deposit assets into a pool and receive LP tokens. They earn the stablecoin fees paid by traders and can stake those LP tokens in vaults for STABUL rewards. The site says neither pool liquidity nor staked LP tokens have a lockup period.

Pros and cons

What we like

  • Focuses on non-USD stablecoins and tokenized RWAs that large DEXs often serve poorly.
  • Oracle-centered liquidity is designed to lower slippage near the market rate.
  • Runs on three networks: Polygon, Base and Ethereum.
  • No lockup period is stated for pool liquidity or staked LP tokens.
  • Offers both swap fee income and STABUL vault rewards for liquidity providers.
  • Publishes audit links, documentation, a whitepaper and a governance forum.

Watch out for

  • TVL is very small (about $18,000 to $33,000 depending on the source), so large swaps can face thin liquidity.
  • The STABUL token trades at a fraction of a cent, and rewards paid in it can lose value quickly.
  • Many supported stablecoins are issued by small issuers and carry their own peg, custody and regulatory risk.
  • Pricing relies on an offchain oracle, which adds a dependency beyond the smart contracts.
  • Audit details and team identities are not set out on the homepage beyond an audit link, so readers must check the reports themselves.
  • Cumulative volume of about $25 million is modest next to the large general-purpose DEXs.

Stabull Finance fees

The homepage describes the DEX as low fee and low spread but does not publish a specific swap fee percentage. Fee levels per pool are not stated in the material reviewed, so check the swap interface and the documentation before trading.

Liquidity providers earn the stablecoin swap fees generated by their pool, and can add STABUL rewards by staking LP tokens in vaults. You also pay normal network gas on Polygon, Base or Ethereum. Gas is not set by Stabull.

Is Stabull Finance safe?

Stabull links to a smart contract audit page, and DefiLlama lists two audits. The homepage does not summarise the findings, so check the reports for scope and any unresolved issues. The protocol is non-custodial in the usual DEX sense: you keep your tokens in your own wallet until you swap or deposit.

Risks include smart contract bugs, dependence on an offchain oracle, and the peg and issuer risk of each stablecoin or RWA token in a pool. With TVL in the tens of thousands of dollars, a single depegging asset could affect liquidity providers substantially. The site carries a risk disclosure and terms of use from Stabull Labs LLC. No regulatory licence is stated, and readers should check the rules that apply in their country.

6 steps

How to get started with Stabull Finance

  1. 1

Open the Stabull app and connect a compatible wallet.

  2. 2

Choose a network: Polygon, Base or Ethereum, and fund the wallet with that network's gas token.

  3. 3

Pick a pair from the swap page, such as USDC to a non-USD stablecoin, and check the quoted price against the oracle rate.

  4. 4

Confirm the swap and review the price impact before signing.

  5. 5

To provide liquidity, select a pool, deposit the pool assets and receive LP tokens.

  6. 6

Optionally stake LP tokens in a vault to earn STABUL, and read the docs on liquidity mining first.

Who Stabull Finance is for

Stabull fits users who regularly hold or exchange local-currency stablecoins such as BRL, EUR, ZAR or AUD tokens, and liquidity providers comfortable with small, niche pools. It is less suited to anyone needing deep liquidity for large trades or a long track record.

Stabull Finance FAQs

What is Stabull Finance?

Stabull is a decentralized exchange built for stablecoins and tokenized real-world assets. It focuses on non-USD stablecoins such as BRZ, EURC, ZARP and NZDS, plus gold-backed tokens like PAXG and XAUT.

Which blockchains does Stabull support?

It runs on Polygon, Base and Ethereum. The pairs available differ by chain, so check the swap page for the chain you plan to use.

How do you earn on Stabull?

Liquidity providers deposit into a pool and earn stablecoin swap fees. They can also stake LP tokens in vaults to earn STABUL. The site states there is no lockup period for pool liquidity or staked LP tokens.

How does Stabull keep slippage low?

Stabull distributes pool liquidity around an offchain oracle price, such as the BRL/USD rate. Swaps close to that price see lower slippage, and the same liquidity is used more efficiently than in a standard constant-product pool.

Is Stabull audited?

The homepage links to a smart contract audit page, and DefiLlama lists two audits. Audits reduce but do not remove smart contract risk, and you should read the reports before depositing.

What is the STABUL token used for?

STABUL is the protocol's native token. It is paid as a reward to people who stake LP tokens in vaults, and the site also links to governance and a forum for token holders.
