Solera Review 2026: Morpho-Powered RWA Vaults

Solera is a lending and vault platform that routes deposits into curated vaults built on Morpho, with a focus on real-world asset yields. It is small and early, so treat the advertised APYs with caution.

Our verdict on Solera

6.0/10

Solera suits DeFi users who want to lend stablecoins or BTC-linked assets on Plume or Hemi through curated Morpho-style vaults and who are comfortable reading vault details. Its strengths are a clear vault table and a real-world asset focus. The main caveats are small TVL, thin liquidity in several vaults, unpublished fees and the fact that the project does not say who audited it. Start small and check each vault's collateral first.

What is Solera?

Solera is a lending platform that describes itself as a credit hub bridging real-world asset yields to DeFi. Its app has Earn and Borrow sections, and the Earn page lists vaults by curator, collateral and supply APY.

At the time of the snapshot, the homepage showed $12.94M total supplied and $4.99M borrowed. DefiLlama reports about $1.1M TVL, so the two figures differ, and the project does not explain why. DefiLlama has tracked the project since February 2025 and lists it on Plume Mainnet and Hemi.

The largest vault is Re7 pUSD on Plume with $12.68M in deposits and an 8.57% supply APY. The other vaults on Hemi are much smaller, with deposits between about $24K and $142K. Rates range from under 0.01% to 25.04%.

How Solera works

Solera is a lending front end. Lenders deposit assets into vaults, and each vault is managed by a curator who decides which markets and collateral it uses. Borrowers take loans from those markets, and the interest they pay becomes the supply APY for lenders.

The page metadata says the vaults are powered by Solera, Morpho and Gauntlet, which points to Morpho's vault and market design. In that model, each market has fixed collateral and risk settings, and a curator allocates deposits across them. The project does not detail Gauntlet's or Solera's exact roles.

The pitch is bringing real-world asset yields into DeFi credit. The project does not spell out which vaults hold RWA exposure. Vault rates move with utilisation, so a vault with little borrowing earns close to nothing, as the 0.21% and sub-0.01% vaults show.

Key features

01

Earn vaults

Users supply assets to vaults and earn a variable supply APY. The homepage shows total supplied, your deposits and your earn APY.

02

Borrowing markets

The app has a Borrow tab alongside Earn. Total borrowed is shown as about $4.99M against $12.94M supplied.

03

Curated vault listings

Each vault lists a curator such as Re7, Clearstar or Metronome, plus its collateral and supply APY.

04

Morpho-based infrastructure

The page metadata says the vaults are powered by Solera, Morpho and Gauntlet. This ties the product to Morpho's lending infrastructure.

05

Multiple assets and chains

Vaults cover pUSD on Plume and hemiBTC, msETH and USDC.e on Hemi. Filters let users sort by chain and asset.

06

RWA yield focus

DefiLlama's description centres on connecting real-world asset yields to DeFi credit markets.

Pros and cons

What we like

  • Clear vault table showing curator, collateral, deposits and supply APY.
  • Built around Morpho-style vaults, which are a known lending design.
  • DefiLlama lists two audits.
  • Offers both lending and borrowing in one app.
  • No native token is required to use it, according to DefiLlama.
  • Supports niche networks (Plume and Hemi) with RWA and BTC-linked assets.

Watch out for

  • TVL is small, about $1.1M on DefiLlama, and fell 8.6% over seven days.
  • Most deposits sit in one vault (Re7 pUSD on Plume), which concentrates exposure.
  • Several vaults show tiny deposits and near-zero APY, such as 0.21% and under 0.01%.
  • Yields on RWA-linked and BTC-based vaults depend on third-party curators and underlying assets that the project does not describe in detail.
  • No native token, and no published fee schedule.
  • Only two chains are supported, so users with assets elsewhere need to bridge first.

Solera fees

Fees are not published. DefiLlama lists no fee data and its homepage shows only supply APYs.

Users should check each vault's page in the app for performance or management fees and any curator fees. They should also expect network gas on Plume or Hemi when depositing or withdrawing.

Is Solera safe?

DefiLlama lists two audits for Solera, but the project does not name the auditors or give their findings. Public sources also show no incident history. Lending vaults carry smart-contract, oracle, liquidation and bad-debt risks, and curators can affect how risky a given vault is.

Users keep custody through their own wallet, but deposited funds are exposed to the vault's markets. Real-world-asset collateral can add issuer and off-chain risks. The project does not state any regulatory status. Check the rules for DeFi in your jurisdiction and only deposit what you can afford to lose.

6 steps

How to get started with Solera

  1. 1

Confirm that using DeFi lending is permitted where you live, and read the audit information for the vaults you are considering.

  2. 2

Get a compatible wallet and fund it with a supported asset on Plume or Hemi.

  3. 3

Open the Solera app and connect the wallet using the Connect button.

  4. 4

Use the chain and asset filters on the Earn tab to compare vaults, curators, collateral and supply APY.

  5. 5

Open a vault and read its details before depositing a small amount first.

  6. 6

Monitor your deposits and earn APY in the app, and withdraw when you choose.

Who Solera is for

Solera is for DeFi users who already hold assets on Plume or Hemi and want to earn lending yield or borrow against collateral. It suits people comfortable comparing curators and collateral. It is a poor fit for anyone who wants a long track record, deep liquidity or fully published fee terms.
