Our verdict on Curvance
7.0/10Curvance suits DeFi users on Monad who want to lend, borrow and try simple leveraged positions, and who are comfortable reading smart-contract risk. Its main strengths are its TVL of about $133 million and two listed audits. The main caveat is the short history and the lack of published fee and risk-parameter detail in our sources. Check rates and liquidation thresholds in the app, and keep positions small and well collateralized.

What is Curvance?
Curvance is a decentralized lending protocol on Monad. DefiLlama describes it as Monad's lending layer, helping users earn more yield and access simple one-click leverage. The homepage tagline says users can deposit crypto, borrow against it and earn yield.
DefiLlama shows roughly $132.8 million in TVL, up about 2.4% over seven days, and lists the protocol since 27 November 2025. Two audits are listed. A $4 million strategic funding round was reported in November 2025.
The official homepage we have is minimal, so details on assets, rates and risk parameters come mainly from DefiLlama and third-party descriptions. Those describe lending markets plus vaults, with some sources pointing to a focus on stablecoins and yield-bearing tokens.
How Curvance works
Curvance works as a set of lending markets. A user deposits a supported asset, which earns yield and can be used as collateral. Against that collateral, the user can borrow another asset up to a limit set by the protocol.
One-click leverage automates a loop: borrow, swap or redeposit, and borrow again within a single action. This increases exposure to the deposited asset. Third-party descriptions also mention vaults for yield-bearing tokens.
If collateral value falls too far relative to the debt, the position can be liquidated by other participants, usually with a penalty. Prices come from oracles, so oracle quality matters for safety.

Key features
01
Deposit and earn yield
Users deposit crypto assets that earn yield and can also serve as collateral for loans.
02
Borrow against collateral
Deposited assets back a loan in another asset, which is standard overcollateralized lending.
03
One-click leverage
DefiLlama highlights simple one-click leverage, which bundles the borrow-and-redeposit loop into a single action.
04
Lending markets plus vaults
Third-party descriptions say the product combines lending markets with vaults for yield-bearing assets.
05
Audits listed
DefiLlama lists two audits for the protocol, a useful if limited signal of review.
06
Monad-native focus
The protocol is positioned as a core lending layer on Monad, a newer EVM chain.
Pros and cons
What we like
- Sizeable TVL of about $132.8 million per DefiLlama.
- Two audits are listed on DefiLlama.
- One-click leverage reduces the steps for users who want leveraged exposure.
- Reported $4 million strategic funding round in November 2025.
- Focused on a single chain, Monad, so the product scope is clear.
Watch out for
- Fee schedule, interest-rate model and liquidation penalties are not stated in the sources we reviewed.
- Launched on DefiLlama only in late November 2025, so the track record is short.
- One-click leverage amplifies losses and can lead to liquidation in a sharp market move.
- Activity is concentrated on a single chain, Monad, which is itself young.
- Third-party pages mention a CVE token, but DefiLlama lists no token, so token status is unclear.
Curvance fees
Curvance's fee schedule is not published publicly we reviewed. That includes borrow rates, supply rates, protocol fees and liquidation penalties.
In lending protocols, rates normally move with supply and demand and appear in the market list inside the app. Users should check the borrow APR, supply APY and any leverage costs in the app before opening a position, plus network gas fees on Monad.
Is Curvance safe?
DefiLlama lists two audits for Curvance. Audits help, but they do not rule out bugs, oracle failures or economic exploits. We found no incident reports reviewed, but the protocol has been listed only since late November 2025.
Lending is non-custodial in principle, but you take on smart-contract risk and liquidation risk. Leveraged positions can be liquidated quickly in volatile markets. Regulatory status is not stated publicly. Check that using DeFi lending is permitted where you live.
6 steps
How to get started with Curvance
- 1
Open the official Curvance app and check you are on the correct address before connecting a wallet.
- 2
Set up a Monad-compatible wallet and fund it with a small amount of the native token for gas.
- 3
Review the available markets, rates, collateral factors and liquidation thresholds.
- 4
Start with a small deposit to see how yield and collateral work.
- 5
If you borrow, keep a wide safety margin above the liquidation threshold and monitor your position.
- 6
Treat one-click leverage as an advanced tool and test it only with small amounts.
Who Curvance is for
Curvance is for intermediate DeFi users active on Monad who want yield on deposits, borrowing against their holdings or simple leverage. It is less suited to beginners, who may prefer to understand liquidation risk on smaller positions first.
Curvance FAQs
What is Curvance?
Curvance is a decentralized lending protocol. DefiLlama describes it as Monad's lending layer, aimed at higher yield and simple one-click leverage. Users deposit assets, borrow against them and earn yield.
Which blockchain does Curvance run on?
DefiLlama lists Curvance on Monad only. Other sources describe it as aiming at cross-chain or interoperability use, but the data we reviewed shows Monad as the single listed chain.
Does Curvance have a token?
DefiLlama shows Curvance has no token. Some third-party sites and airdrop trackers refer to a CVE token, but those listings show no meaningful price. Check the official channels before acting on any token claim.
Is Curvance safe?
DefiLlama lists two audits, but audit reports reduce risk rather than remove it. Smart-contract bugs, oracle problems and liquidations are still possible, and the protocol is relatively new.
Has Curvance raised funding?
Reports from November 2025 say Curvance completed a $4 million strategic funding round. We do not have details on investors or terms from the sources reviewed.
What are the main risks of using Curvance?
Borrowing against crypto can lead to liquidation if the collateral value falls. One-click leverage makes that risk larger because it increases your exposure. Only use amounts you can afford to lose.
