What Vaulta (A) is
Vaulta is the name used for the network and token that were previously known as EOS. Its ticker is A. The project describes itself as a Web3 banking network, meaning a blockchain meant to host financial services such as payments, yield products and tokenized assets, aimed at consumers, developers and institutions.
The project's own description points to a few technical features. One is one-second finality, so transactions are treated as settled quickly. Another is on-chain memory called RAM, which applications use to store data. A third is Bitcoin-related infrastructure through exSat. Together these are pitched as a financial operating system that links traditional finance with crypto.
It helps to be realistic about the messaging. Community discussion has included complaints that the banking language is broad and the concrete benefits are hard to pin down. The network itself is an established Layer 1 base, but the banking positioning is a strategy statement rather than proof of adoption. Our category for it is Layer 1 tokens, and a major data provider also lists it under smart contract platforms.
What the token is used for
Public descriptions of the A token list several roles. It is used for staking and earning yield, for voting in network governance, and for paying transaction fees. It is also tied to network resources, specifically RAM and bandwidth, which applications and users need in order to run on the chain.
That resource role is a defining trait of the EOS design lineage. Instead of paying a small fee per transaction in the way many chains work, users typically hold or stake the token to get access to capacity. The details of how this works under the Vaulta branding are best checked in the project's current documentation, since mechanics can change.
Some promotional material also says the token supports movement of value across blockchain networks and global remittances. Treat those as marketing claims. Public sources we have confirm the staking, governance, fee and resource uses, and they do not give enough detail to say how much real payment or banking activity runs through the token today.
Supply and tokenomics
The maximum supply of A is 2.1 billion tokens, and the total supply is the same figure, so no further issuance beyond that cap is indicated in the data we have. Circulating supply was about 1.68 billion as of 2026-11-05, which is roughly 80 percent of the total.
Market figures at that date were approximate. The price was about $0.083, the market capitalization about $139.4 million, and the fully diluted valuation about $174.5 million. Twenty-four-hour trading volume was about $7.1 million, and the token ranked around 215 by market cap. The gap between market cap and fully diluted value reflects the tokens not yet circulating.
We do not have verified detail on allocation, vesting schedules, inflation or staking reward rates, so we will not describe them. Anyone assessing the token should look for the project's current published tokenomics, including how rewards are paid and whether any supply is locked or scheduled for release. Supply and price figures move constantly, so treat these as a snapshot, not a current quote.
Chains, holding and trading
Our data does not list Vaulta as the native token of any other chain, nor as a token issued on other chains, so the simplest reading is that A belongs to its own Layer 1 network. The project also talks about Bitcoin-linked infrastructure through exSat, but that is a feature of the ecosystem, not evidence that A lives on Bitcoin.
In general terms, a token like this can be held in a self-custody wallet that supports the network, or left on a centralized exchange account where the exchange holds the keys. Self-custody gives you control but also full responsibility. An exchange is more convenient for trading but adds counterparty risk.
A trades on centralized exchanges against stablecoins and major coins, with daily volume in the single-digit millions of dollars at the time of writing. That is modest liquidity, so larger orders can move the price. Before moving funds, confirm which network and address format a wallet or exchange expects, because sending to the wrong one can mean permanent loss.
History and notable events
The key event in the token's history is the rebrand from EOS to Vaulta, with the new ticker A. The shift was framed as a move toward Web3 banking, and promotional posts from spring 2025 describe the new direction around tokenization, real-time payments and open finance.
The price peaked at about $0.779 on 2025-05-28, which lines up with the period of heavy rebrand attention. By 2026-11-05 the price was about 65 percent lower than a year earlier, and the recorded all-time low of about $0.058 came on 2026-06-06. The seven-day change at that date was about minus 5.5 percent.
A major data provider also tags the token with a World Liberty Financial portfolio category. We cannot say from our data what that relationship involves, so treat it as a label only. Our data gives no clear launch date for the A token itself, because the asset carries history from its earlier identity.
Risks to understand
The most visible risk is price volatility. A fall of about 65 percent over a year shows how quickly sentiment can change after a rebrand, and past peaks say nothing about future results. This page is not buy or sell advice.
Strategy risk matters too. Moving from a general smart contract platform to a banking-focused network is a large claim in a crowded field. Community comments have questioned how concrete the plan is, and the project will need real applications and users to back it up.
Other risks include:
- Liquidity: daily volume is modest relative to larger assets, so exiting a big position can be costly.
- Regulatory exposure: institutional and banking-style products draw more regulatory attention.
- Smart contract and bridge risk: tokenized assets and Bitcoin-linked tools add technical complexity.
- Confusion and scams: a rename invites fake tokens and phishing messages that mention swaps or migrations.
Only use funds you can afford to lose, and verify claims against official project channels.
How to store it safely
Start by choosing a wallet that explicitly supports the Vaulta network and A. Check that it is actively maintained, and download it only from the official source. Fake wallet apps are a common trap, especially around rebranded assets.
Write your recovery phrase on paper or metal and store it offline. Never type it into a website, send it in a message or share it with anyone claiming to offer support. If you hold a meaningful amount, a hardware wallet is worth considering where compatible, since it keeps keys off your internet-connected device.
Before sending a large amount, send a small test transfer and confirm it arrives. Double-check the network, address and any memo or account details the destination requires. Be wary of unsolicited messages about swaps, airdrops or urgent migrations, and approve only transactions you understand.
If you leave tokens on an exchange, enable two-factor authentication and withdrawal address whitelisting, and remember that the exchange controls the keys.
