What SOON is
SOON is the token linked to SOON Network, a project that describes itself as a rollup stack bringing the Solana Virtual Machine (SVM) to other base blockchains. Our profile of the issuing project calls it a Layer 2 rollup that runs a decoupled SVM on the OP Stack and settles on Ethereum, aimed at developers and early adopters.
The idea is to let developers write programs in the style used on Solana while relying on another chain for security and final settlement. The team calls its approach Decoupled SVM. It says this lets SVM rollups be launched across different Layer 1 networks with native fraud proofs, lower data availability costs and room to scale horizontally. The project also describes a Super Adoption Stack, meant to connect SOON chains with each other and with Solana and TON, and says it built a Solana-to-TON bridge with a Telegram mini app.
These are the project's own descriptions. Third-party summaries date the founding to June 2024. In our categories the token sits under Layer 2 tokens and Infrastructure tokens. Our score for the project is 5 out of 10, which reflects an early-stage network that is still proving itself.
What the token is used for
Public descriptions of the SOON token vary. Some third-party explainers say it covers transaction fees and smart contract execution, and others list governance, staking and ecosystem incentives. The data we have does not confirm which of these functions are live today, so treat the list as a description of intent rather than a guarantee.
One detail is worth noting. The token is not recorded as the native gas asset of any chain in our data. It is issued on several networks as a token, so the idea of it paying fees on SOON chains depends on how the project has set up its own network and whether it has chosen SOON as the fee asset.
If you are trying to understand demand for the token, the useful questions are practical ones. Is SOON required to use a SOON chain? Can it be staked, and what does staking secure? Does governance with SOON actually decide anything? The official documentation and governance pages are the place to check, and answers can change as the network develops.
Supply and tokenomics
As of 2026-11-05, about 339.8 million SOON were circulating out of a total supply of roughly 11.01 billion. No maximum supply is listed. That means only around 3% of the total supply was in circulation at the time of writing.
The gap shows up in the valuation figures. At a price of about $0.26, the market capitalization was about $88.1 million, while the fully diluted valuation, which prices every existing token at the current rate, was about $2.85 billion. The token ranked around 292 by market cap, with roughly $8.9 million traded over 24 hours.
A small float against a large total supply usually means future unlocks could add a lot of tokens to the market. One report from October 2025 mentioned a re-lock of some tokens and an allocation set aside for ecosystem development, but we have not verified the details, so check the project's published vesting schedule. The distribution between team, investors, community and ecosystem funds is the most important tokenomics detail to look up before forming a view.
Chains and how it is held and traded
SOON is recorded as issued on four networks: Solana, Base, BNB Chain and Hyperliquid L1. Its categories also reference the HyperEVM ecosystem and Base native listings, which fits that spread. A token present on several chains normally has a separate contract on each one, and moving between them requires a bridge or a supported exchange withdrawal.
Holding SOON means using a wallet that supports the chain where your tokens sit. A Solana wallet holds the Solana version, while an EVM wallet holds the Base or BNB Chain version. Sending a token to an address on the wrong network can mean permanent loss, so always match the network when depositing or withdrawing.
Trading happens on centralized exchanges and on decentralized exchanges. The token has also been tagged in a Binance Alpha Spotlight category, which points to exposure through that exchange's ecosystem. Because several contracts and look-alike tokens can exist, confirm the contract address from the project's official channels rather than from a search result or a social media reply.
History and notable events
Third-party sources place the founding of SOON Network in June 2024. Our data does not include a token launch date, so we do not state one here.
The price record is volatile. The all-time high was about $4.30 on 2025-11-14, and the all-time low was about $0.10 on 2026-04-10. As of 2026-11-05 the price was about $0.26, which is roughly 62% lower than a year earlier and about 14% lower than a week earlier. Those moves show how sharply a young, low-float token can swing in both directions.
Among the notable events reported by third parties is an October 2025 article about a re-lock of SOON tokens, described as a step toward project stability. We have not independently confirmed the terms. The project has also promoted its SOL and TON interoperability work, including the Telegram mini app bridge. For a current picture, read the team's recent announcements and governance posts rather than relying on older coverage, since the project and its token plans have changed over time.
Risks to understand
SOON carries risks common to early infrastructure tokens, plus some specific to its design.
- Dilution risk. Only about 3% of total supply was circulating at the time of writing, and no maximum supply is listed. Future unlocks or emissions could increase selling pressure.
- Price volatility. A drop of more than 60% over a year and a large gap between the all-time high and low show how large the swings can be.
- Technical risk. Rollups, fraud proofs and cross-chain bridges are complex systems. Bugs, outages or bridge exploits can cause losses.
- Unclear utility. Sources disagree about what the token does, so demand may depend more on sentiment than on required usage.
- Competition. Many projects aim to bring SVM-style execution or high-performance rollups to other chains.
- Liquidity and contract confusion. Trading volume is modest compared with the fully diluted value, and multi-chain tokens attract fake contracts.

How to store SOON safely
Self-custody gives you control but also responsibility. Choose a wallet that supports the specific chain your SOON is on, whether that is Solana, Base, BNB Chain or Hyperliquid's EVM environment. A hardware wallet paired with a software interface is a common choice for larger holdings.
Write down your recovery phrase on paper or metal, store it offline and never type it into a website, chat or support form. No legitimate team will ask for it. Before a large transfer, send a small test amount and confirm it arrives on the correct network.
Verify the token contract against official project channels, since copycat tokens with the same name and ticker are common. Be careful with surprise airdrops, wallet-connect prompts and links sent in direct messages, and review and revoke token approvals you no longer need on EVM chains.
Leaving tokens on an exchange is convenient for trading but means the exchange controls the keys. Many holders keep only what they plan to trade there and move the rest to their own wallet.
By the numbers
