Zyberswap V3 Review 2026: Small Arbitrum and Optimism DEX
Zyberswap V3 is a concentrated-liquidity decentralized exchange on Arbitrum and Optimism. Its liquidity is now very small and no audits are listed, so treat it as a high-risk, low-activity venue.

Our verdict on Zyberswap V3
4.0/10Zyberswap V3 suits experienced DeFi users who understand concentrated liquidity and want to study a small, early Arbitrum-era DEX. Its main strength is the range-based liquidity design on two layer-2 networks. The main caveat is scale: TVL is around $40,600, ZYB trades with almost no volume, and no audits are listed. Most users will get better depth and clearer security records elsewhere, so approach it with small amounts and check pool liquidity first.

What is Zyberswap V3?
Zyberswap V3 is the concentrated-liquidity version of Zyberswap, a decentralized exchange first described as one of the early AMM DEXs on Arbitrum. The V3 deployment is listed on Arbitrum and Optimism and has been tracked since late February 2023.
Its main feature is concentrated liquidity, which lets liquidity providers place capital in a chosen price range. The aim is higher capital efficiency and more precise control over exposure than a classic full-range pool offers.
Activity is now very low. Total value locked is roughly $40,600, and the ZYB token has a market cap in the low thousands of dollars with near-zero daily volume. No audits are listed, and the project does not publish a team, fee table or licence in the material reviewed.
How Zyberswap V3 works
Zyberswap V3 is an automated market maker. Instead of matching buyers and sellers, it holds tokens in smart-contract pools. Traders swap against a pool, and the price moves according to the pool's balance.
The V3 design uses concentrated liquidity. A liquidity provider picks a price range, and the capital is only active while the market price sits inside that range. This makes the capital work harder within the range and can reduce impermanent loss exposure inside it. Once the price leaves the range, the position earns no fees until the price returns or the provider adjusts the position.
Providers earn a share of swap fees from the pool in proportion to the liquidity they contribute. Gas is paid on Arbitrum or Optimism. The project also has a token, ZYB.
5 features
Key features
01
Concentrated liquidity ranges
Liquidity providers choose a price range for their capital. This can raise capital efficiency compared with full-range pools.
02
AMM token swaps
Swaps run through on-chain liquidity pools, with no order book and no custodian holding user funds.
03
Arbitrum and Optimism deployment
The protocol is deployed on both Arbitrum and Optimism, two Ethereum layer-2 networks.
04
Targeted liquidity provision
Narrower ranges can reduce exposure to price swings inside the range. This is a design goal, not a guarantee against impermanent loss.
05
ZYB token
ZYB is the protocol's own token. It trades at very low volume.
Pros and cons
What we like
- Concentrated liquidity gives liquidity providers control over price ranges and capital efficiency
- Non-custodial design: users keep their tokens in their own wallet except while swapping or providing liquidity
- Runs on two low-cost layer-2 networks, Arbitrum and Optimism
- Part of a protocol that was an early AMM DEX on Arbitrum
- Has its own token (ZYB) for ecosystem use
Watch out for
- Total value locked is only about $40,600, so trades of any size would likely move the price sharply
- The ZYB token trades with near-zero daily volume and a market cap in the low thousands of dollars, so it is very illiquid
- No audits are listed for the V3 contracts
- The project does not publish a team, licence, or fee schedule in the material reviewed
- Concentrated liquidity needs active range management, and positions can fall out of range and stop earning
- Impermanent loss still applies, and can be sharp in thin pools
Zyberswap V3 fees
The fee schedule for Zyberswap V3 is not published in the material reviewed. Concentrated-liquidity DEXs typically charge a swap fee per pool that goes to liquidity providers, and the interface shows the rate before you confirm a trade.
On top of any swap fee, users pay network gas on Arbitrum or Optimism. Slippage can also cost more than the stated fee in pools with this little liquidity.
Is Zyberswap V3 safe?
No audits are listed for Zyberswap V3. The project does not publish a team, licence or security programme in the material reviewed. Smart-contract risk is therefore hard to assess, and any deposit could be lost to a bug or exploit.
The protocol is non-custodial, so you hold your own keys. Very low liquidity brings its own risks: price manipulation, high slippage and the chance that the project is no longer actively maintained. Only use funds you can afford to lose, and verify the official interface through the project's verified social account to avoid phishing copies.
6 steps
How to get started with Zyberswap V3
- 1
Confirm that using a DEX is legal where you live and that you understand the risks of providing liquidity.
- 2
Set up a self-custody wallet and add the Arbitrum or Optimism network.
- 3
Fund the wallet with a small amount of ETH for gas and the tokens you plan to swap.
- 4
Find the official Zyberswap interface through the project's verified social account, not through search ads or unknown links.
- 5
Check pool depth and the displayed fee and price impact before swapping, and start with a small test amount.
- 6
If you provide liquidity, choose a price range deliberately and monitor it, since positions can fall out of range.
Who Zyberswap V3 is for
Zyberswap V3 is for experienced DeFi users who already know how concentrated liquidity and impermanent loss work, and who accept the risks of a low-liquidity, unaudited protocol. It is not a good fit for beginners, for large trades, or for anyone who needs deep liquidity and a documented security record.
Zyberswap V3 FAQs
What is Zyberswap V3?
Zyberswap V3 is a decentralized exchange built on an automated market maker with concentrated liquidity. It runs on Arbitrum and Optimism and lets users swap tokens and provide liquidity within chosen price ranges.
Which blockchains does Zyberswap V3 support?
Zyberswap V3 is deployed on Arbitrum and Optimism. Zyberswap was originally described as one of the early AMM-based DEXs on Arbitrum.
What is the ZYB token?
The project's own token is ZYB. Market listings show a very small market cap and almost no daily trading volume, so it is thinly traded and hard to exit at a predictable price.
Has Zyberswap V3 been audited?
No audits are listed for Zyberswap V3 in the data reviewed. That does not prove the code is unsafe, but it means there is no public third-party review to rely on. Any funds you deposit carry smart-contract risk.
How does concentrated liquidity work here?
Concentrated liquidity lets a liquidity provider place capital inside a specific price range instead of across all prices. This can earn more fees per dollar while the price stays in range. If the price leaves the range, the position stops earning and is held mostly in one asset.
Is Zyberswap V3 still active?
Total value locked is about $40,600, which is very low for a DEX. Low liquidity means higher slippage and a greater chance that a pool is dominated by a few providers. Check current pool depth before trading or depositing.
