Our verdict on Treble Spot
5.8/10Treble suits Base users who want swaps, perpetuals, staking and a token launchpad in one place and are comfortable with early-stage DeFi risk. Its main strength is the breadth of products, from a V4-style AMM to lockers and an AI agent. The main caveat is trust: TVL is small, no audits are listed, and the team and fees are not published. Start with small amounts, verify contracts and avoid high leverage.

What is Treble Spot?
Treble describes itself as the first modular V4 DEX on Base, with a DeFi hub built around it. The homepage lists spot swaps, perpetuals, pools, staking, farms, a launchpad, liquidity lockers, analytics and on-ramps in one interface.
The protocol is listed since January 2025 and runs only on Base. Its token is TREB, and the homepage shows a price near $0.0096. Total value locked is about $113,000, which is small for a DEX with this many products.
The pitch is breadth: one place to trade, earn, launch tokens and use an AI agent. The tradeoff is that the project does not publish audits, a team or a fee schedule on its homepage, so users have to do more checking themselves.
How Treble Spot works
Treble is an automated market maker. Instead of an order book, users deposit tokens into liquidity pools and traders swap against those pools at prices set by a formula. Liquidity providers earn a share of trading fees. Treble describes its design as modular and V4-based, with the option to create V4 or V2 pools.
On top of the AMM, Treble adds other products. Perpetual futures let traders take leveraged long or short positions, and the homepage cites up to 60x. Staking xTREB and Nitro strategies let holders earn yield, and farms reward liquidity in selected pools. A launchpad and token launcher let projects list tokens, and a locker holds tokens or liquidity under lock or vesting terms.
Treble also bundles access features: cross-chain swaps, a fiat on-ramp, a CEX on-ramp and spending without KYC. An AI agent named Elvis is meant to carry out these actions on request through the app, Telegram or X. Each of these adds to the amount of code and third-party dependencies users rely on.

Pros and cons
What we like
- Wide product set in one app: spot, perps, pools, staking, farms, launchpad and lockers
- Non-custodial, permissionless trading as stated on the homepage
- Locker system supports token and liquidity vesting, which helps launched projects show commitment
- Fiat on-ramp and cross-chain swap lower the barrier for newcomers to Base
- Nitro single-deposit LP strategies simplify liquidity provision
- Elvis AI agent offers voice or text execution for users who want a guided interface
Watch out for
- TVL is small at about $113,000 and fell 7% over seven days, so liquidity may be thin for larger trades
- No audits are listed for the protocol, which matters for a platform with many contracts (AMM, perps, lockers, launchpad)
- The team, licensing and legal entity are not published on the homepage
- Up to 60x leverage on perpetuals is high risk and can liquidate positions quickly
- The broad product scope (swaps, perps, launchpad, AI agent, spending) increases the smart-contract and operational surface
- Runs only on Base, so users on other networks must bridge or use the cross-chain swap
Treble Spot fees
Treble does not publish a fee schedule on its homepage. The metrics section shows total fees, but the figures were not populated, so swap fees, perpetual trading fees and launchpad costs are not stated.
Users will see the applicable swap fee tier in the swap or pool interface and perp fees in the trading interface. Network gas on Base, and any fees charged by the fiat on-ramp partners, come on top.
Is Treble Spot safe?
No audits are listed for Treble in the data reviewed, and the homepage does not point to audit reports. The protocol is non-custodial per its own description, so users keep control of funds in their wallets, but smart-contract risk applies to every pool, perp market, staking contract and locker. Low TVL and a young protocol add to that risk.
The project does not publish its team or legal structure on the homepage, and it references Terms of Service and a Privacy Policy. Leveraged trading of up to 60x can wipe out a position quickly. The KYC-free spending feature and fiat on-ramps may have regulatory implications that vary by jurisdiction, so users should check local rules. Names similar to Treble belong to unrelated projects, so confirm you are on the correct site and token contract.
6 steps
How to get started with Treble Spot
- 1
Set up a Base-compatible wallet and fund it with ETH on Base for gas.
- 2
Open the Treble app and connect the wallet.
- 3
Start with a small spot swap to check pricing, slippage and fees.
- 4
Read the documentation and look for audit information before adding liquidity or staking.
- 5
If you use perpetuals, set a low leverage level and understand liquidation first.
- 6
Use the on-ramp only if you need to buy TREB with fiat, and review the partner's checks and fees.
Who Treble Spot is for
Treble is for Base-focused DeFi users, small token creators and traders who want spot, perps and yield tools together and can evaluate smart-contract risk themselves. It is a poor fit for people who need audited, deep-liquidity venues or who are new to leverage.
