Our verdict on SithSwap
5.5/10SithSwap suits Starknet users who want a stableswap venue for swapping similar assets with low slippage, or who reach its pools through an aggregator like AVNU. Its main strength is the focused stableswap design with dynamic fees and two listed audits. The main caveat is size: about $172,500 in TVL and low reported volume mean thin liquidity, and the fee schedule and audit details are not published. Treat it as a small, higher-risk DEX and size trades accordingly.

What is SithSwap?
SithSwap is a decentralized exchange on Starknet, the Ethereum layer-2 network. It describes itself as an advanced, composable and permissionless stableswap protocol where users trade correlated and uncorrelated assets with dynamic fees and very low slippage.
The project has been around since an alpha testnet in August 2022, and a DeFi data tracker lists it since March 2023. It has a token, SITH, and two audits are listed in that tracker. Starknet Foundation and the AVNU aggregator have both referenced it, which points to some ecosystem recognition.
It is small. Total value locked is about $172,500, with a 7-day change of roughly +0.8%. One market tracker reports daily spot volume of a few thousand dollars against about $166,000 in liquidity. That makes it a niche venue rather than a main liquidity hub on Starknet.
How SithSwap works
SithSwap is an automated market maker. Instead of an order book, traders swap against liquidity pools funded by users, who earn a share of trading fees in return. Prices come from a formula applied to the pool balances.
A stableswap formula is designed for assets that should trade near the same price, such as two dollar stablecoins. It keeps the price flatter around parity than a standard constant-product pool, so a trade of a given size loses less to slippage. SithSwap says it also handles uncorrelated assets and adjusts fees dynamically.
The contracts are permissionless and composable. Other contracts and aggregators can plug into the pools, which is how AVNU routes trades through SithSwap liquidity on Starknet.
6 features
Key features
01
Stableswap pools
The protocol is built around stableswap math, designed to keep slippage low for assets that trade near the same price while also supporting uncorrelated pairs.
02
Dynamic fees
Fees adjust with market conditions rather than staying fixed. The exact formula and range are not published in the sources reviewed.
03
Permissionless and composable
Anyone can trade or provide liquidity without approval, and contracts can integrate SithSwap liquidity. An alpha testnet in 2022 offered a Uniswap V2-style API for third-party integrations.
04
AVNU aggregator integration
AVNU lists SithSwap as an integration, with dual liquidity pools, so aggregator users can reach its liquidity.
05
Volatile and stable swaps
Besides pure stable pools, the project describes instant volatile and stable swaps, so more than one pool type is available.
06
SITH token
SithSwap has a token, SITH, listed in a DeFi data tracker. Its specific role is not detailed in the sources reviewed.
Pros and cons
What we like
- Stableswap design aims for low slippage on similar-priced assets
- Permissionless and composable, with third-party integrations supported
- Listed as an integration on the AVNU aggregator
- Two audits listed in a DeFi data tracker
- Dynamic fees and a dedicated Starknet focus
Watch out for
- TVL is only about $172,500, so large trades can still move prices despite the stableswap design
- Trading volume reported by one tracker is only a few thousand dollars per day, which suggests thin activity
- Runs only on Starknet, so users must bridge assets there first
- Audit reports, team details and fee numbers are not published in the sources reviewed
- Smart-contract risk applies, and a small protocol may attract less scrutiny than larger DEXs
SithSwap fees
SithSwap describes its fees as dynamic and close to zero, but it does not publish a fixed fee table in the sources reviewed. The split between liquidity providers and the protocol is also not stated.
Users should check the fee and price impact shown in the swap interface before confirming. Starknet network gas fees apply on top and are paid from your wallet.
Is SithSwap safe?
Two audits are listed for SithSwap in a DeFi data tracker, but the auditors and reports are not named in the sources reviewed. The team and any bug bounty are also not described. Audits lower smart-contract risk but do not remove it.
As a non-custodial DEX, you keep your tokens in your own wallet until you swap or deposit them into a pool. Liquidity providers face impermanent loss and smart-contract risk, and Starknet itself is a newer network with its own technical risks. Small pools can also be more exposed to price manipulation. Check token contract addresses carefully before trading.
6 steps
How to get started with SithSwap
- 1
Install a Starknet-compatible wallet such as Braavos or Argent and secure the seed phrase offline.
- 2
Bridge ETH or other assets to Starknet and keep some ETH aside for gas.
- 3
Open the SithSwap app and connect your wallet, checking that you are on the correct site.
- 4
Pick the tokens to swap and review the quoted rate, fee and price impact.
- 5
Start with a small trade to confirm the process, then confirm the transaction in your wallet.
- 6
If you want to provide liquidity, read how pool rewards and impermanent loss work before depositing.
Who SithSwap is for
SithSwap is for Starknet users comfortable with DeFi who want to swap stablecoins or correlated assets with low slippage, and for liquidity providers willing to accept small-pool and smart-contract risk. It is a poor fit for large traders who need deep liquidity, or for beginners who have not yet bridged assets to Starknet.
SithSwap FAQs
What is SithSwap?
SithSwap is a decentralized exchange on Starknet. It uses a stableswap-style design aimed at low slippage and dynamic fees, and it supports both correlated and uncorrelated asset pairs.
Which blockchain does SithSwap run on?
The SithSwap pages describe a Starknet-only protocol. You need a Starknet-compatible wallet and assets bridged to Starknet before you can trade.
Does SithSwap have a token?
SithSwap has a token listed as SITH. The sources reviewed do not describe its utility or distribution, so check the project's own documentation before buying.
What are the fees on SithSwap?
The project describes its fees as dynamic and near-zero, but it does not publish a fixed fee schedule in the sources reviewed. The swap interface should show the fee and price impact before you confirm a trade.
Is SithSwap audited and safe?
Two audits are listed in a DeFi data tracker, but the sources reviewed do not name the auditors or link the reports. As with any DEX, smart-contract risk remains and you should only trade what you can afford to lose.
Can I trade SithSwap liquidity through an aggregator?
Yes. The aggregator AVNU lists SithSwap as an integrated venue, so trades can be routed through SithSwap liquidity pools from that interface.
