Revoswap Review 2026: A Small AMM DEX on X Layer

Revoswap is an automated market maker DEX built on X Layer, the zero-knowledge Layer 2 tied to OKX. It is a small protocol with about $51K in TVL and no listed audits, so treat it as a niche venue.

Our verdict on Revoswap

4.5/10

Revoswap suits users who already work in the X Layer and OKX Wallet ecosystem and want a native AMM for simple swaps. Its main strength is that ecosystem fit and a straightforward model. The main caveat is size: about $51K in TVL, very low reported volume and no listed audits mean thin liquidity and unquantified contract risk. Keep trades small, check price impact before swapping, and do your own research before adding liquidity.

What is Revoswap?

Revoswap is an automated market maker DEX on X Layer. It calls itself the first and preferred AMM on that chain and says it aims for a smooth, friendly user experience. DefiLlama has tracked it since April 2024 under the DEX category.

The protocol is small. DefiLlama shows about $51,000 in total value locked, and a later snapshot reports about $52,000. A listing for Revoswap V2 shows 24-hour volume of roughly $700, down by almost half on the day. Those numbers point to limited liquidity and light usage.

The main selling point is its link to the OKX ecosystem. A news item reports that OKX Wallet is integrated with Revoswap, which gives OKX Web3 users a direct path to the exchange.

How Revoswap works

Revoswap is an automated market maker. Instead of matching buyers and sellers, it holds pools of two tokens. A formula sets the price based on the ratio of tokens in the pool, and each trade shifts that ratio.

Liquidity providers deposit token pairs into pools and normally earn a share of swap fees in return. They also take on impermanent loss, which occurs when the relative price of the pooled tokens moves.

The protocol runs on X Layer, a zero-knowledge Ethereum Layer 2 built with the Polygon Chain Development Kit. Users connect a wallet, approve tokens and sign each swap on-chain. The protocol does not take custody of funds in the way a centralized exchange does.

Key features

01

AMM token swaps

Revoswap is described as an AMM DEX, so swaps are priced by pool reserves instead of an order book.

02

X Layer deployment

The protocol is built on X Layer, a ZK Ethereum Layer 2 made with the Polygon CDK.

03

OKX Wallet integration

A news item reports that OKX Wallet is integrated with Revoswap, which gives OKX Web3 users a route in.

04

V2 version

A Revoswap V2 listing has been tracked since 2024, which suggests an updated version of the exchange contracts.

Pros and cons

What we like

  • Native to X Layer, a ZK Layer 2 in the OKX ecosystem.
  • Reported integration with OKX Wallet gives users a convenient entry point.
  • Uses the standard AMM model, which is simple to understand for swaps.
  • Tracked since April 2024, so it has a history of more than a year of operation.
  • Non-custodial design means users trade from their own wallets.

Watch out for

  • Total value locked is only about $51,000, so liquidity is thin and larger trades may see heavy price impact.
  • DefiLlama lists no audits for the protocol.
  • The team and any governance or ownership structure are not published in the sources reviewed.
  • Trading activity looks low: one aggregator showed 24-hour volume of roughly $700, down sharply on the day.
  • It runs on a single chain, so it is tied to the fortunes of X Layer.
  • No native token is listed, so there is no visible incentive program to attract liquidity.

Revoswap fees

Revoswap does not publish a fee schedule in the sources reviewed. AMM DEXs typically charge a small swap fee that goes to liquidity providers, plus the network gas fee on X Layer.

Before trading, check the fee shown on the swap screen and the price impact estimate. In small pools the price impact can matter far more than the swap fee.

Is Revoswap safe?

DefiLlama lists no audits for Revoswap, and the sources reviewed do not mention an audit report, bug bounty or named team. That leaves smart-contract risk unquantified. Liquidity providers face the usual impermanent loss, and low TVL means pools can be moved easily by large trades.

Being on X Layer adds dependency on that chain's bridge and infrastructure. Third-party listings describe Revoswap V2 inconsistently, with one calling it a centralized exchange, which conflicts with its description as an on-chain AMM. Confirm everything on the official site and the block explorer before depositing.

6 steps

How to get started with Revoswap

  1. 1

Set up a wallet that supports X Layer, such as OKX Wallet, which has a reported integration with Revoswap.

  2. 2

Add X Layer to the wallet if it is not already listed, and fund it with the network's gas token.

  3. 3

Open the official Revoswap site and check the address carefully to avoid imitation sites.

  4. 4

Connect the wallet and choose the two tokens you want to swap.

  5. 5

Review the quoted price, price impact and fee, then start with a small test trade.

  6. 6

Confirm the transaction in your wallet and check the result on the X Layer block explorer.

Who Revoswap is for

Revoswap is for crypto users already active on X Layer, especially those using OKX Wallet, who want a native AMM for token swaps. It is less suited to large traders who need deep liquidity, or to anyone who requires audited contracts and a named team.

Revoswap FAQs

What is Revoswap?

Revoswap is an automated market maker decentralized exchange on X Layer. Users swap tokens against liquidity pools instead of using an order book. It describes itself as the first and preferred AMM DEX on that chain.

Which blockchain does Revoswap use?

Revoswap runs on X Layer, a zero-knowledge Ethereum Layer 2 built with the Polygon Chain Development Kit. It is not listed on any other chain.

Which wallet can I use with Revoswap?

A news item reports that OKX Wallet is integrated with Revoswap, so users of that wallet can reach the DEX. Other EVM-compatible wallets that support X Layer may also work, but the project's own list of supported wallets was not available.

Has Revoswap been audited?

Not in the sources reviewed. DefiLlama lists zero audits for Revoswap. As with any small DEX, only commit amounts you can afford to lose.

Does Revoswap have a token?

DefiLlama shows no token for Revoswap. A separate listing for a token called RevoSwap (RSV) mentions a planned play-to-earn game, but nothing connects it to this DEX, so treat it with caution.

How much liquidity does Revoswap have?

Revoswap shows roughly $51,000 to $52,000 in total value locked, which is small. Low liquidity usually means wider spreads and more slippage on trades.
