Ramses CL Review 2026: Concentrated Liquidity on Arbitrum

Ramses CL is a concentrated-liquidity DEX on Arbitrum that combines Uniswap v3-style liquidity with a bribe and vote-lock incentive system. Current TVL and fees are small, so liquidity depth is the main caveat.

Our verdict on Ramses CL

5.5/10

Ramses CL suits experienced DeFi users who understand concentrated liquidity and vote-lock incentive models and want to experiment on Arbitrum. Its main strength is the combination of Uniswap v3-style capital efficiency with a bribe system for steering emissions. The main caveat is scale: TVL near $122,500, very low fees and no listed audits mean thin liquidity and higher smart-contract risk. Check pool depth and slippage before trading, and keep any position small.

What is Ramses CL?

Ramses CL is the concentrated-liquidity DEX from the Ramses project on Arbitrum. DefiLlama describes it as an AMM meant to act as a central liquidity hub for Arbitrum, pairing Uniswap v3 mechanics with a custom incentive engine and vote-lock governance. It has been listed since June 2023.

The project's docs describe capital-efficient liquidity provision, with price-level depth that can resemble an order book. Its distinguishing feature is the pairing of bribes with concentrated liquidity, so incentives can be steered toward specific pools.

Activity is currently modest. DefiLlama shows roughly $122,500 in TVL, a 7-day TVL change of about -0.5%, and about $317 in fees over the last 30 days. The homepage itself is mainly an app loader, and it describes Ramses more broadly as multichain DEX infrastructure.

How Ramses CL works

Ramses CL is an automated market maker. Instead of an order book, traders swap against pools of tokens that liquidity providers deposit. As with Uniswap v3, providers choose a price range for their capital. Money in range earns swap fees, and money out of range earns nothing.

On top of that, Ramses uses a vote-lock model. Holders lock the RAM token to get voting power, and use it to direct token emissions to chosen pools. Projects that want more liquidity can offer bribes to voters, which in turn pulls liquidity providers toward those pools.

The aim is to make incentives pay for deeper liquidity where it is most needed. The trade-off is that returns depend on emissions, bribes and range management, not just trading volume.

6 features

Key features

01

Concentrated liquidity

Liquidity providers allocate capital within chosen price ranges, which can deepen liquidity around the current price.

02

Order-book-like depth

The docs say price-level depth can resemble an order book, a result of tightly ranged positions.

03

Bribe-based incentives

Projects can offer bribes to attract votes that steer token emissions toward their pools.

04

Vote-lock governance

Holders of the RAM token lock it to vote on emissions and take part in governance.

05

Uniswap v3 foundations

The design builds on Uniswap v3, which many developers know, and the team publishes a forked v3 SDK for building on top of it.

06

Arbitrum deployment

Ramses CL runs on Arbitrum, with lower transaction costs than Ethereum mainnet.

Pros and cons

What we like

  • Concentrated liquidity can make capital work harder for liquidity providers who manage ranges
  • Built on Uniswap v3 foundations, a well-known and widely used design
  • Bribe and vote-lock model gives projects a direct way to attract liquidity
  • Runs on Arbitrum, so transaction costs are lower than on Ethereum mainnet
  • Has its own token, RAM, tied to governance and incentives
  • Listed since 2023, so it has a multi-year operating history

Watch out for

  • TVL is only about $122,500, which suggests thin liquidity and likely poor pricing on larger trades
  • Reported fees are very low: roughly $317 over 30 days, pointing to minimal trading activity
  • DefiLlama lists no audits for this deployment
  • The ve(3,3)-style bribe and vote-lock model is complex and can be hard for newcomers to evaluate
  • Concentrated liquidity requires active range management and carries impermanent loss
  • Homepage is a loading screen for the app, so little product detail is visible without connecting a wallet

Ramses CL fees

Swap fee tiers and the exact split between liquidity providers, voters and the protocol are not set out in the material reviewed, so check the pool pages in the app before trading or providing liquidity.

DefiLlama reports about $317 in fees over the past 30 days, of which about $254 was protocol revenue. That is a low amount, consistent with the small TVL. Normal Arbitrum gas costs also apply to swaps and liquidity changes.

Is Ramses CL safe?

DefiLlama lists no audits for this deployment, and the homepage does not publish audit reports, a team page or a bug bounty in the material reviewed. The code is derived from Uniswap v3 and the team has forked Uniswap's SDK, but custom incentive and governance contracts add their own smart-contract risk.

The protocol is non-custodial, so users keep their tokens in their own wallet except when deposited into pools. Low TVL and volume mean thin liquidity, which can mean larger price impact and, for providers, more exposure to impermanent loss. Ramses publishes no regulatory status that we could find. Only commit funds you can afford to lose.

6 steps

How to get started with Ramses CL

  1. 1

Install a wallet that supports Arbitrum and fund it with ETH on Arbitrum for gas.

  2. 2

Open the official Ramses site and wait for the app to load, then connect the wallet.

  3. 3

Check pool liquidity and fee tiers for the pair you want, and note the slippage on your trade size.

  4. 4

To swap, choose the tokens, set slippage and confirm the transaction.

  5. 5

To provide liquidity, pick a pool and a price range, approve both tokens and deposit.

  6. 6

Monitor positions regularly, since they stop earning fees when the price leaves the chosen range.

Who Ramses CL is for

Ramses CL is for experienced DeFi users who already understand concentrated liquidity, impermanent loss and vote-escrow token models. It may also interest liquidity providers and projects looking at bribe-driven incentives on Arbitrum. Casual traders who need deep liquidity and tight pricing will probably find larger venues a better fit.

Ramses CL FAQs

What is Ramses CL?

Ramses CL is a concentrated-liquidity automated market maker on Arbitrum. Liquidity providers pick price ranges for their capital, and the protocol directs token incentives through a vote-lock governance system.

Which blockchain does Ramses CL run on?

DefiLlama lists Arbitrum as the supported chain for this deployment. The broader Ramses project describes itself as multichain DEX infrastructure, but the Ramses CL listing here covers Arbitrum only.

Does Ramses have a token?

Ramses has a token called RAM, according to DefiLlama. It is tied to the vote-lock governance and incentive model, where locked holders direct emissions and can receive bribes and fees.

Is Ramses CL audited?

DefiLlama lists no audits for this deployment, and the project's homepage does not state any. The codebase draws on Uniswap v3, which is widely used, but forks and custom incentive layers add their own smart-contract risk.

How does concentrated liquidity differ from a standard pool?

Concentrated liquidity lets providers put capital in a chosen price range rather than across all prices. This can earn more fees per dollar while the price stays in range, but it also means positions can stop earning and suffer impermanent loss when the price moves out.

How much liquidity does Ramses CL have?

Reported figures are small: about $122,500 in TVL and roughly $317 in fees over 30 days. Anyone planning to trade or provide liquidity should check current pool depth and slippage in the app first.
