TomoChain is a layer-1 blockchain launched with its own mainnet in 2018, aimed at the scalability problems of earlier networks. It is now commonly called Viction. Sources describe a delegated proof-of-stake design with 150 masternodes that validate blocks, and the chain is generally treated as EVM-compatible, meaning Ethereum-style contracts and tools can be used with it.

The native token began as TOMO and appears as VIC in Viction-branded apps. Fees are paid in that token. We don't have reliable TVL or token price figures for the chain, so check live market data before relying on any number. Treat any app on a small chain with extra caution, since liquidity can be thin.

The native dApp scene here is small and mostly DeFi. deFusion offers liquid staking for VIC, Baryon Network is a small AMM exchange that also runs on BNB Chain and Bitkub Chain, and LuaSwap was an early community DEX whose team says its mission has ended. LayerZero V2, a cross-chain messaging and bridge protocol, and the centralized exchange Gate also appear on this page, but both operate across many networks rather than only on TomoChain.

TomoChain FAQs

Is TomoChain the same as Viction?

TomoChain is the original name of a layer-1 blockchain that now goes by Viction. Some listings still use the TomoChain name, and the dApp data on this page includes both names. Its token was originally TOMO and appears as VIC in Viction products such as deFusion.

How does TomoChain reach consensus?

Sources describe a delegated proof-of-stake model run by 150 masternodes. Token holders back masternodes, and the masternodes validate blocks. This is meant to give faster confirmation than older proof-of-work chains.

Is TomoChain EVM compatible?

It is generally described as EVM-compatible, so Ethereum-style smart contracts and wallets can work with it. Check each app's own documentation for the network settings it expects before connecting a wallet.

Which dApps can I find on TomoChain?

This page lists 6 dApps. The ones built mainly around the chain are LuaSwap, deFusion and Baryon Network. LayerZero V2 and Gate are multi-chain services that also appear here, and Gate is a centralized exchange rather than an on-chain app.

Is LuaSwap still active?

LuaSwap was a community-run AMM exchange on TomoChain and Ethereum. The project says its mission has ended, so treat it as a legacy listing and check its status before interacting with it.

Can I stake on TomoChain?

deFusion is a liquid staking platform for Viction. You stake VIC in pools, receive SVIC, and rewards are added automatically each epoch. Like any staking product, it carries smart-contract and market risk, so read its documentation first.

What is the largest dApp on TomoChain by TVL?

LayerZero V2 is the largest dApp on TomoChain by total value locked, with $16.7B across all the chains it supports. It is followed by Gate ($5.84B) and LuaSwap ($147K). TVL figures come from DefiLlama and change daily.

Which dApp on TomoChain has the highest DappsAtlas score?

LayerZero V2 has the highest score at 8.0/10, ahead of Gate (7.7) and Baryon Network (5.4). Scores weigh security, ease of use, fees and features, and are based only on facts we could verify.

How many dApps are on TomoChain?

DappsAtlas tracks 6 dApps on TomoChain. Of these, 6 have a full review and 6 report value locked, $22.6B in total, counting value on every chain they support.

What are the most common types of dApps on TomoChain?

DEXes (3), Bridge (1) and Centralized Exchanges (1) are the largest categories on TomoChain, by number of projects.

Which dApps on TomoChain grew the most this week?

Among dApps with at least $1M locked, LayerZero V2 had the biggest 7-day TVL gain (+8.9%) and Gate the biggest drop (−4.6%). Combined TVL moved +5.0% over the same seven days.

What is the average score for dApps on TomoChain?

The 5 rated dApps on TomoChain average 6.0 out of 10. Of these, 1 score 8 or higher and 1 score below 5.
