## What Is Tarot (TAROT)?

Tarot (TAROT) is a DeFi protocol token associated with Tarot, a multi-chain lending and leveraged-yield protocol. The protocol is designed for liquidity providers who want to borrow against liquidity-pool (LP) tokens and use auto-compounding LP-token vaults. This setup is aimed at experienced users: borrowing and leveraged positions can magnify losses as well as gains.

TAROT is not the native gas token of a blockchain. It is issued on multiple networks and is linked to the Tarot protocol rather than to one chain’s basic transaction system. Tarot materials describe staked TAROT, called xTAROT, as a way for holders to participate in protocol governance. That gives the token a governance role, but it does not guarantee that holders will receive income or have control over every protocol decision. Check the current protocol documentation before relying on a particular feature.

## What Is TAROT Used For?

TAROT’s stated role is governance of the Tarot protocol. Protocol materials describe xTAROT, a staked form of TAROT, as the route for stakeholders to participate in on-chain governance. Governance can include voting on protocol decisions, though the specific proposals, voting rules and eligibility requirements may change. Holding TAROT alone should not be assumed to grant the same voting rights as staking it.

The protocol itself offers lending and leveraged-yield tools for liquidity providers, including auto-compounding LP-token vaults. Those are uses of Tarot’s dApp, not automatic benefits of owning the token. TAROT is not needed as a blockchain’s gas currency, and public sources do not establish that it is required for every Tarot feature. Before staking or using a vault, review the current terms, contract details and risks, including borrowing costs, liquidation conditions and smart-contract exposure. Governance participation also does not remove the possibility of losses from protocol changes or market movements.

## Supply, Chains and Market Snapshot

TAROT has a stated maximum supply of 100 million tokens. At the time of writing, dated 2026-11-05, about 67.7 million were circulating. TAROT is issued on Fantom, Canto, Polygon, BNB Chain, Mantle, Kava, Base, zkSync Era, Avalanche, Arbitrum, Optimism and Ethereum. It is not identified as the native token of any of these chains, and availability across networks does not mean every version has identical liquidity or support.

As of 2026-11-05, the token’s reported price was about $0.0203 and its market capitalization about $1.4 million; these figures can change quickly. Reported 24-hour trading volume was about $3,112, a relatively small amount that may make large trades harder to execute without affecting the price. Treat market figures as snapshots, not forecasts or guarantees of how easily a token can be sold.

## Risks and Storage

TAROT holders face the usual crypto risks, including sharp price changes, limited liquidity, smart-contract vulnerabilities and changes to protocol governance or operation. Using Tarot’s lending or leveraged-yield features adds borrowing, liquidation and LP-token risks. Auto-compounding does not remove those risks, and a position can lose value even when rewards are being reinvested. A token’s presence on several networks also introduces the possibility of choosing the wrong network or interacting with an incompatible or counterfeit token contract.

For storage, use a wallet that supports the specific network and token contract you intend to hold. Confirm the contract address and network through Tarot’s official materials before sending funds; do not rely on a token name or ticker alone. Keep seed phrases and private keys offline and private, and consider the risks of custodial platforms if you hold TAROT there. Before bridging, staking or connecting a wallet to a dApp, check the destination chain, transaction details and current protocol documentation. Never share a recovery phrase to verify or migrate tokens.

By the numbers

Tarot in numbers

Tarot (TAROT) is ranked #2,804 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $1.29M and a price of $0.0190 as of Nov 6, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $1.90M, so roughly 68% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.

The price was down 21.8% over 7 days, down 35.1% over 30 days, down 73.8% over the past year. It trades about 94% below its all-time high of $0.3336, set on Apr 24, 2024.

About 67.7M TAROT are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 100M (68% issued).

24-hour trading volume was about $3.53K, or 0.3% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.

TAROT has token contracts on 12 chains we track, including Fantom, Canto, Polygon, BNB Chain. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

Which blockchain is TAROT on?

TAROT is issued on multiple chains, including Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, Avalanche, Polygon and BNB Chain. Confirm the specific network and contract before transferring tokens, since the ticker alone does not identify the correct version.

What is the supply of TAROT?

TAROT has a stated maximum supply of 100 million tokens, with about 67.7 million circulating as of 2026-11-05. Circulating supply can change, so check current figures before relying on them.

How can I store TAROT?

TAROT can be held in a wallet that supports its specific network and token contract. Verify the contract address through Tarot’s official materials, and keep your recovery phrase private.

What are the main risks of TAROT?

TAROT carries price, liquidity, smart-contract and governance risks. Using Tarot’s lending or leveraged-yield features can add borrowing and liquidation risks, so review current protocol terms before interacting.
