What MemeCore (M) is

MemeCore is a Layer 1 blockchain aimed at meme coin communities. Its own materials call it the first chain built for what it terms "Meme 2.0", the idea that meme coins can be more than short-term speculation and can act as tools for culture, ownership and community coordination. The stated mission is to let anyone launch tokens, earn from cultural contributions and build in a meme-native environment.

Technically, the chain is described as EVM-compatible, so wallets and tools used on Ethereum-style networks should work with it in principle. It uses a consensus design the project calls Proof of Meme (PoM), which ties network incentives to meme community activity rather than relying only on conventional staking. The ecosystem also features Meme Vaults, which are meant to reward creators and traders.

M is the token at the centre of this system. At the time of writing, it ranked around 51st by market capitalization, and it is categorized as both a Layer 1 token and a meme coin. That mix of labels is worth noting: it is infrastructure aimed at meme culture, not a joke token with no stated function.

What the token is used for

According to the project's documentation and launch-era announcements, M is the utility token of the MemeCore network. The roles described include paying gas fees for transactions, staking, governance, ecosystem rewards and participation in the Proof of Meme consensus model.

In practical terms, that means M is meant to be the asset you spend to use the chain, the asset validators or participants commit to help secure it, and the asset holders may use to vote on proposals. The project also positions M as the reward currency flowing to creators and community members through mechanisms like Meme Vaults.

These are the project's own descriptions, and how much of this is live, how deep the usage is and how rewards are calculated can change over time. Details on reward rates, validator requirements and governance rules should be read from current official documentation rather than from summaries like this one. Where a function is announced but not yet active, treat it as a plan, not a feature.

The broader pitch is an economic loop in which social posts, remixes and on-chain actions feed value back to participants, with M as the unit of account.

Supply and tokenomics

The data shows a maximum supply of 10 billion M. Of that, about 2.29 billion were circulating and about 5.43 billion existed in total at the time of writing (as of 2026-11-05). So only a bit under a quarter of the maximum supply was in circulation.

That gap matters for valuation. Market capitalization was about $1.86 billion, while fully diluted value, which assumes the full 10 billion at the current price, was about $4.41 billion. Tokens not yet circulating may be released over time through vesting, rewards or emissions, which can add selling pressure or dilute existing holders. This page does not have a verified breakdown of allocations, unlock schedules or emission rates, so check the official tokenomics documentation before drawing conclusions.

On price, M traded at roughly $0.81 as of 2026-11-05. The data lists an all-time high of about $5.64 on 2026-07-02 and an all-time low of about $0.047 on 2025-07-03. Over the previous seven days it fell about 21 percent, and over the previous year about 66 percent. These are snapshots, not forecasts.

Chains, holding and trading

Market data trackers list M as issued on BNB Chain, and its categories include the BNB Chain ecosystem. The project itself describes M as the native token of the MemeCore Layer 1. Those two descriptions can both be true, for example if a token exists as a BNB Chain asset alongside the project's own network, but the arrangement is not spelled out in the data here. Before moving funds, confirm which network and which contract address a given exchange or wallet is using.

M is traded on centralized exchanges and, as a BNB Chain token, may also be available on decentralized exchanges on that network. One data source counts well over a hundred active trading pairs. The data also carries a Binance Alpha Spotlight tag, which is a category label rather than a guarantee of any particular listing status.

Trading volume was fairly thin at the time of writing: about $675,000 over 24 hours against a market cap near $1.86 billion. Low volume relative to size can mean wider spreads and larger price moves on modest orders. Deposits and withdrawals must use the correct network, since sending M to the wrong chain can result in permanent loss.

History and notable events

MemeCore documentation was published in mid-2025, and the M token was announced for exchange listings in early July 2025. The data shows the all-time low price on 2025-07-03, which lines up with that launch window, so early trading was at a fraction of later levels. An exact launch date is not given in the data used for this page.

The all-time high of about $5.64 came on 2026-07-02, roughly a year after the early lows. Since then the price has fallen sharply, and as of 2026-11-05 it sat far below that peak. Analysis pieces published in 2026 describe the project as differentiated by its focus on meme communities, creators and SocialFi applications, but such pieces are opinion and should be read with care.

Our own project profile gives MemeCore a score of 5.5 out of 10, which reflects a mixed picture: a clear niche and an EVM-compatible design, alongside the usual uncertainties of a young chain with a concentrated narrative. This page does not have a verified list of partnerships, audits or major incidents, so none are claimed here.

Risks to understand

M is a volatile asset, and the numbers show it. A drop of about 21 percent in a week and about 66 percent over a year, after an all-time high only months earlier, illustrates how large the swings can be.

Several specific risks apply:

  • Dilution risk. Only part of the 10 billion maximum supply circulates, and the fully diluted value is more than double the market cap.
  • Liquidity risk. Daily volume was small relative to market cap, which can make exiting larger positions costly.
  • Narrative risk. The project is built around meme culture, and attention in that sector can fade quickly.
  • Execution risk. A new Layer 1 must attract developers, users and validators to matter. Features described in documentation may not be live or widely used.
  • Network confusion. The token appears on BNB Chain in market data while the project describes its own chain, so mistakes with deposits are possible.
  • Scam risk. Meme-adjacent tokens attract fake contracts, phishing and impersonation.

This page is not investment advice. Only consider amounts you can afford to lose entirely, and read official documentation yourself.

How to store M safely

For anything beyond small trading amounts, a self-custody wallet is generally safer than leaving tokens on an exchange. Because M is listed as a BNB Chain token and the project is EVM-compatible, many standard EVM wallets can hold it, though you should confirm support for the specific network you intend to use.

Some practical habits:

  • Copy the contract address only from the project's official documentation or a trusted token listing, and compare it before adding the token. Lookalike tokens are common.
  • Write your recovery phrase on paper or metal, store it offline, and never type it into a website or share it with anyone, including anyone claiming to be support.
  • Send a small test amount first when moving funds to a new address or network.
  • Be wary of unsolicited airdrops, reward claims and wallet-connection prompts. Review what a transaction approves before signing, and revoke old token approvals periodically.
  • For larger holdings, consider a hardware wallet that supports EVM networks, keeping the device firmware up to date.

If you use an exchange, enable two-factor authentication with an authenticator app or security key, and use withdrawal allow-lists where offered.

By the numbers

MemeCore in numbers

MemeCore (M) is ranked #48 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $1.91B and a price of $0.8315 as of Nov 6, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $4.52B, so roughly 42% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.

The price was down 18.0% over 7 days, down 20.3% over 30 days, down 65.9% over the past year. It trades about 85% below its all-time high of $5.64, set on Jul 2, 2026.

About 2.29B M are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 10B (23% issued).

24-hour trading volume was about $1.05M, or 0.1% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.

M has token contracts on BNB Chain. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.
