What the ASI Alliance and FET are
The Artificial Superintelligence Alliance, usually shortened to the ASI Alliance, is a collaboration between SingularityNET, Fetch.ai and Ocean Protocol. CUDOS joined shortly afterward as a network member. The project describes itself as an open-source effort to build decentralized artificial general intelligence, with artificial superintelligence as a longer-term goal.
The alliance was formed in April 2024 through a community-approved token merger. Holders of AGIX (SingularityNET) and OCEAN (Ocean Protocol) could convert to FET, the token that had already been used by Fetch.ai. FET is now the single token that represents the alliance.
The FET ticker dates back to 2019, when Fetch.ai first launched it. That is why the market data shows a launch date of 2019-02-25 even though the alliance itself is much newer. The stated aim is to keep advanced AI research and tools from being controlled by a few large centralized companies.
As of 2026-11-05, FET ranked around 120th by market capitalization, so it is a mid-sized asset in the wider crypto market.
What the token is used for
Public descriptions from the project and from exchanges say FET is used for several things on the network: paying for transactions, staking, taking part in governance, and paying for services delivered by AI agents. Fetch.ai's tooling includes autonomous software agents, and FET is the unit those agents and their users use to pay for access.
The alliance also mentions an AI model called ASI-1 Mini and an agent framework called uAgents, which sit within the Fetch.ai side of the ecosystem. How much real demand exists for these services, compared with trading activity in the token, is hard to judge and is worth checking independently.
Because FET replaced AGIX and OCEAN, it also acts as the governance and economic link between the three founding projects. Detailed rules for how governance votes work or how staking rewards are set are not covered in the data used here, so check the official documentation before relying on any specific mechanism.
Supply and tokenomics
The data shows a maximum and total supply of about 2.714 billion FET, with about 2.312 billion in circulation as of 2026-11-05. Because the maximum equals the total, no further tokens are shown as planned beyond that cap. That gap between circulating and total supply is roughly 400 million tokens, which could enter circulation over time and add selling pressure or dilution.
At the time of writing, the price was about $0.155, giving a market cap of roughly $358.8 million and a fully diluted valuation of about $421.4 million. Trading volume over 24 hours was around $59.6 million.
The merger changed the supply: the original Fetch.ai supply was expanded to make room for converted AGIX and OCEAN holders. Exact conversion ratios and vesting or allocation schedules are not provided in the data here, so they are not described in detail.
Chains and how it is held and traded
FET is issued on several networks: Ethereum, BNB Chain, Cardano and Osmosis. It is not the native coin of any chain, which means it behaves like a standard token on each of those networks rather than paying base-layer fees itself.
Most people hold and trade FET through centralized exchanges, where it is listed against stablecoins and major coins. It can also be held in self-custody wallets that support the chain on which a given FET token is issued. The same ticker can exist in different versions on different chains, and tokens are not interchangeable across chains without a bridge or an exchange transfer.
Before sending any FET, confirm which network you are using and which one the receiving address supports. Sending to the wrong network can result in lost funds.
History and notable events
The Fetch.ai token began in early 2019 and was launched through the Binance Launchpad, according to its category listings. It has also appeared in the portfolios of investors such as DWF Labs and Outlier Ventures.
The major event in its history was the April 2024 merger of Fetch.ai, SingularityNET and Ocean Protocol into the ASI Alliance. FET reached an all-time high of about $3.45 on 2024-03-28, during a period of strong interest in AI-related tokens. Its all-time low of about $0.0082 dates from 2020-03-12.
As of 2026-11-05, the price was down about 25 percent over the past year and about 14 percent over the past week. Those moves illustrate how far the token has traded from its peak, and past performance says nothing about future results.
Risks to understand
FET is a volatile asset. Large swings are common, and the current price sits far below the 2024 high. Interest in AI tokens tends to follow broader market sentiment and news cycles, which can detach prices from actual usage.
Other risks include:
- Execution risk: the alliance aims to build very ambitious technology, and there is no guarantee it will reach its goals.
- Coordination risk: merging separate projects and communities can create governance disputes or differing priorities.
- Supply risk: tokens not yet in circulation could add to supply later.
- Competition: many AI-themed crypto projects and large centralized AI companies are pursuing similar areas.
- Smart contract and bridge risk: multi-chain tokens add technical exposure, especially when moving tokens between networks.
- Scams: fake tokens and phishing sites often use popular AI names.

How to store FET safely
If you keep FET in your own wallet, use a reputable wallet that supports the specific network of your token, such as Ethereum, BNB Chain, Cardano or Osmosis. Write down the recovery phrase on paper, store it offline, and never share it or type it into a website. A hardware wallet adds protection for larger holdings.
When sending, test with a small amount first and double-check the address and the network. Verify the token contract address from the project's official channels instead of copying it from social media or search ads, because imitation tokens are common.
Keeping tokens on an exchange is more convenient but means you rely on the platform's security and solvency. Enable two-factor authentication using an authenticator app rather than SMS. Be careful with approvals you grant to dApps, and revoke ones you no longer use.
By the numbers
Artificial Superintelligence Alliance in numbers
Artificial Superintelligence Alliance (FET) is ranked #122 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $344M and a price of $0.1488 as of Nov 6, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $404M, so roughly 85% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.
The price was down 10.0% over 7 days, down 36.6% over 30 days, down 31.0% over the past year. It trades about 96% below its all-time high of $3.45, set on Mar 28, 2024.
About 2.31B FET are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 2.71B (85% issued).
24-hour trading volume was about $78.4M, or 23% of its market cap: high turnover.
FET has token contracts on 4 chains we track, including Ethereum, Osmosis, BNB Chain, Cardano. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.
