What iExec RLC is
iExec RLC is the token of iExec, a project that describes its tools as a way to build privacy-first applications with programmable governance, data protection and confidential processing. The project says its goal is to give users control over their data and over who can access it, while enabling new ways to share and monetize that data. iExec is also commonly described as a decentralized cloud computing platform, where participants can rent computing power, data and applications from one another in a peer-to-peer network. The token launched in April 2017 and is an ERC-20 token, which is the standard used by many tokens on Ethereum. Because these descriptions come from the project and its community, readers should compare them with the official documentation and with independent reporting before relying on them.
What the token is used for
According to iExec's own technical documentation, RLC is used to pay for confidential computation and for consuming protected data inside applications that run on the platform. Workers on the network stake RLC to take part, and computation results are confirmed by consensus before payment settles in RLC. The project has also said that the token can be used to access computing resources, secure off-chain computation and monetize digital assets. Whether these uses create lasting demand depends on how many applications actually run on iExec and how often they pay in RLC, and outside observers can only see part of that picture. Holding the token does not by itself grant access to any service. The platform's own rules and smart contracts set how RLC is spent and earned, so anyone interested should read the current documentation rather than rely on summaries.
Supply and market data
As of 2026-11-05, the market data used for this page showed RLC at about $0.44 per token, with a market capitalization of about $38.6 million and a market cap rank of 543. Trading volume over the prior 24 hours was about $2.9 million. Over seven days the price was down about 11 percent, and over one year it was down about 40 percent. The all-time high was about $15.51 on 2021-05-10, and the all-time low was about $0.154 on 2018-12-14. Total, circulating and maximum supply are all listed at about 87 million tokens, which suggests no further issuance is pending, though readers should confirm this with current on-chain data. Prices and market figures change constantly, and these numbers describe one moment in time rather than a forecast.
Chains and where it is issued
The data lists RLC as issued on Ethereum and Arbitrum. It is not the native token of any chain, which means it does not secure a base network of its own. On Ethereum it follows the ERC-20 standard, and the Arbitrum version is a token on a layer-2 network that settles to Ethereum. Which version a holder has depends on the network they used to receive it. Moving tokens between networks usually requires a bridge or an exchange that supports the route, and mistakes in these steps can lead to lost funds. Before sending RLC, check which network your wallet is set to, confirm the token contract through the project's official channels, and send a small test amount first. Many fake tokens copy names and symbols, so the contract address matters more than the label.
Risks and storage
RLC is a small-cap token whose price has fallen sharply from its 2021 peak, and it can move widely within a single day. Key risks include price volatility, thin liquidity compared with larger assets, dependence on the adoption of one specific platform, smart contract and bridge risk, and the possibility that the project changes direction or loses key contributors. Market rankings and price history can also be misread, since a low rank does not show whether a project is growing or shrinking. For storage, a self-custody wallet that supports ERC-20 tokens on the relevant network keeps control of your private keys, but losing the seed phrase means losing access. Exchange custody is simpler but means relying on that company's security and solvency. Never share a seed phrase with anyone. This page is general information, not financial advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold RLC.
By the numbers
iExec RLC in numbers
iExec RLC (RLC) is ranked #531 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $38.3M and a price of $0.4406 as of Nov 7, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($38.3M) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.
The price was down 5.8% over 7 days, down 37.5% over 30 days, down 43.8% over the past year. It trades about 97% below its all-time high of $15.51, set on May 10, 2021.
About 87M RLC are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 87M (100% issued).
24-hour trading volume was about $4.57M, or 12% of its market cap: high turnover.
RLC has token contracts on 2 chains we track, including Ethereum, Arbitrum. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.
RLC is linked to Iexec Rlc, which we cover in our Infrastructure rankings. See our Iexec Rlc page for how the protocol works and how we score it.

RLC FAQs
What is RLC used for?
According to iExec's documentation, RLC is used to pay for confidential computation and for consuming protected data in applications on the platform. Workers also stake RLC to take part in the network. Actual demand depends on how much activity the platform sees.
Which blockchains is RLC on?
The data used for this page lists RLC as issued on Ethereum and Arbitrum. It is not a native token of either chain. Check the network your wallet uses before sending or receiving RLC.
What is the RLC supply?
The data used for this page lists total, circulating and maximum supply all at about 87 million tokens as of 2026-11-05. Confirm current figures with on-chain data, since supply information can change.
Is RLC a good investment?
This page does not give investment advice and does not predict prices. RLC has fallen sharply from its 2021 high and can be very volatile. Anyone considering it should read independent information and consider their own circumstances.
Where should I store RLC?
A self-custody wallet that supports ERC-20 tokens on the correct network keeps control of your keys, while exchange custody means relying on that company. Keep your seed phrase private and never share it.
What is the market cap of iExec RLC?
As of Nov 7, 2026, iExec RLC had a market cap of about $38.3M, ranking #531 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
What is the all-time high of RLC?
iExec RLC's all-time high is $15.51, reached on May 10, 2021. Its all-time low is $0.1538 (Dec 14, 2018). Past prices say nothing about future returns.
What is the circulating supply of RLC?
As of Nov 7, 2026, about 87M RLC were in circulation, against a maximum supply of 87M.
