Crypto Gambling Platforms Compared: Markets, Sportsbooks, Casinos
Prediction markets, peer-to-peer sportsbooks, onchain casinos and lotteries all sit under the crypto gambling label, and they carry very different risks. This page explains how they differ and what to check before you deposit.

Crypto gambling covers a wider range than most people expect. On this page you will find prediction markets such as Polymarket International, Predict Fun and Limitless Exchange, peer-to-peer sports exchanges such as Betdex and sx Bet, crypto-first operators such as Cloudbet and Jackbit, and small onchain casinos and lotteries such as Suigar, Zethr and Tardly. They share a payment method, but custody, fairness and legal exposure differ a lot from one to the next.
The ranked list below uses our own scores and the data we hold for each platform, including chain and value locked where one exists. Use the text here to understand what you are comparing. Gambling is for adults only: you must be 18 or older (21 or older where local law requires), and you should check that online gambling and event trading are legal where you live before you deposit anything. Never bet money you cannot afford to lose.

Four kinds of platform under one label
The 40 platforms on this page fall into a few groups, and comparing across groups can mislead. Prediction markets such as Polymarket International, Predict Fun, OPINION, Seer, Rain and Jupiter Prediction let you buy Yes or No shares on events, with prices that reflect what the crowd expects. Sports exchanges such as Betdex, sx Bet and PRED match users against each other, so you can back or lay an outcome rather than bet against a house.
Crypto-first sportsbooks and casinos, including Cloudbet, Jackbit and Duckdice, mostly work like conventional operators that accept coins. They list no chain or TVL because funds sit with the operator. Fully onchain casinos such as Suigar, DoubleUp, Zethr and BetHash run game logic in smart contracts, often with a community bankroll. Finally, lotteries and no-loss games such as B-Lucky, MegaMoon, Tardly and Chisino use draws or yield to fund prizes.
Each group has its own failure points: market resolution for prediction markets, operator trust for custodial sites, contract risk for onchain casinos. Start by deciding which type you actually want.
How to choose a platform
Custody is the first filter. A wallet-based platform like Overtime or Betdex lets you hold your own funds until a bet settles, while a custodial site holds a balance for you and you rely on its withdrawal policy and licence. Read what each platform says about who controls the money, and treat unverified claims with caution.
Next, look at liquidity. A market with deep liquidity lets you enter and exit without a large price move, which is why Polymarket International, with about $316.4M in TVL at the time of writing, behaves differently from platforms holding a few hundred dollars. Chain matters too: fees, speed and the assets you need differ between Polygon, Base, BNB Chain, Solana, Sui and Monad.
Then check transparency: published rules for how markets resolve, who runs the oracle, whether the code has been reviewed, and how fees are charged. Look at the score, but also read the notes. Some entries, such as Kizzy, have limited published safety details, and others, such as Azuro, have paused betting. Finally, confirm that the platform is open to users in your jurisdiction and follow its age and identity rules.
How the mechanics work
Most onchain platforms settle bets with smart contracts. On a prediction market, you buy shares priced between zero and one, and the winning side pays out when the market resolves. The hard part is resolution: someone or something must decide what happened. Augur and Trueo use staked token oracles, Seer and Polkamarkets rely on their own protocol rules, and Rain lets users create markets on almost any topic, which puts weight on how disputes are handled.
Sports exchanges like sx Bet, Betdex and PRED use an order book where users set the odds, and the platform charges a fee instead of taking the other side. Casinos work differently. Zethr lets ZTH holders act as the house, Suigar uses its SweetHouse bankroll, and Divvy.Bet has a community house pool, so liquidity providers can win or lose alongside the platform's own games.
Randomness is the other piece. Chisino uses onchain VRF, and several casinos describe provably fair rounds that you can check afterwards. Provably fair does not mean favorable: the house edge still applies. Short-round games such as PRDT's UP or DOWN rounds are high-frequency and easy to overspend on.
Risks to weigh before you deposit
Smart-contract risk applies everywhere onchain. A bug, a bad oracle result or a thin market can cost you money even if you pick correctly. Small platforms add team risk: ZKasino is listed with a very low score because of a reported rug pull and a short refund offer in 2024, and we advise against depositing. Narwhal Finance began as a leverage exchange and now promotes a casino, which is a reminder that products and teams change.
Operational risk matters as well. Azuro's betting operations are currently paused while the team rethinks its model, so funds and features can change quickly. Platforms with tiny TVL, such as Belief Market, Bodega Market, Rollspace and SportBet, may have little activity and few users to help you if something goes wrong.
Leverage multiplies losses. Levr Bet offers 2x to 5x on single-game lines, which suits only experienced and risk-tolerant bettors. Token-linked platforms can also tie your results to a token price.
Legal and personal risk comes last. You must be 18 or older, or 21 where required, and online gambling is restricted in many places. Do not try to bypass geo-restrictions, age checks or identity checks. Set a budget, and seek help from a local support service if gambling stops being fun.
Trends shaping the category in 2026
Prediction markets are the clearest growth area. Polymarket International has pulled far ahead on capital, but many rivals now compete across other chains: Predict Fun and OPINION on BNB Chain, Limitless Exchange on Base, Jupiter Prediction on Solana, Alpha Arcade on Algorand and Bodega Market on Cardano. Expect more markets on sports, culture and macro events alongside crypto prices.
A second trend is newer chains. Monad hosts Levr Bet and Kizzy, and MegaETH hosts Chisino, showing that gambling dApps tend to appear early on fast, low-fee networks. These launches usually have small liquidity and shorter track records, which is a reason for caution.
A third trend is yield. Predict Fun offers yield on open positions, Trueo has yield-bearing positions, and Tardly and Chisino use no-loss designs where deposits are protected while prizes come from yield. These designs reduce the chance of losing a deposit to a draw, but they do not remove contract or stablecoin risk.
Finally, regulation shapes the field. Betdex describes itself as licensed, while several platforms emphasize no-KYC access. Rules are still moving in 2026, so check your local position before you rely on any platform.
Frequently asked questions
Is crypto gambling legal?
It depends on where you live. Rules for online gambling, sports betting and event contracts differ by country and by state, and some places restrict crypto-based products specifically. You must be 18 or older (21 or older in some jurisdictions), and you should confirm local legality yourself before using any platform.
Are prediction markets the same as gambling?
Many are structured as markets where you buy and sell shares in an outcome, but regulators in some places treat event betting as gambling. Whether a given product counts as gambling, trading or something else is a legal question that depends on your location. Check local rules before trading.
What does non-custodial mean on a betting platform?
Non-custodial means you keep your funds in your own wallet or in a smart contract rather than handing them to an operator's account. Betdex and Overtime describe themselves this way. It reduces the risk of an operator freezing your balance, but it does not remove smart-contract, oracle or market risk.
What does provably fair mean?
Provably fair means the game result is generated in a way you can check afterwards, often using onchain randomness or a hash-based method. Suigar, Chisino and BetHash use variants of this idea. It shows a round was not changed after the fact, but it does not change the house edge or guarantee you will win.
Which platform on this list has the most value locked?
At the time of writing, Polymarket International is the largest by a wide margin, with a TVL of about $316.4M on Polygon. Rain and Predict Fun follow at roughly $11M and $10.5M. Most other listed platforms hold under $2M, and some centralized sites report no TVL at all.
Does a no-KYC platform mean lower risk?
No. Skipping identity checks can mean fewer protections if a dispute arises, and it does not remove the legal requirement to be of age and to gamble where it is allowed. Do not try to get around age checks, KYC or location restrictions on any platform.
Is a higher TVL always safer?
Not necessarily. TVL shows how much capital sits in a protocol, which helps with liquidity, but it does not prove the code is audited or the team is trustworthy. Read each platform's published safety details and be wary of very small or newly launched platforms.
