Our verdict on Limitless

6.8/10

Limitless suits experienced crypto users who want a wide choice of prediction markets, from 15-minute price moves to football and politics, with social leaderboards and a points and staking layer on top. Its main strength is breadth and visible activity. The main caveat is transparency: no licence, KYC policy, fee schedule or team details are published, and short-term markets can drain a balance quickly. Check local legality first and treat any stake as money you can lose.

What is Limitless?

Limitless is an on-chain prediction market. Users trade shares on whether an event will happen, from a 15-minute Bitcoin move to a Champions League winner or a political question. The homepage groups markets into crypto, sport, esports, finance and politics, with dedicated Korean and Chinese sections.

The project has changed focus over time. A data tracker lists it under derivatives on Arbitrum, Base and Linea since May 2024, with a description about leverage without liquidations. Public reporting shows a public Arbitrum launch with an incentive programme and a pre-seed round of $3M reported in September 2024, where the project was described as sitting between prediction markets and SocialFi.

Today the site leans heavily on social and competitive features: leaderboards, a trade feed, challenges, groups and team competitions. It also advertises Limitless Points, liquidity incentives and staking for LMTS. Licensing, KYC rules, fees and the team are not published in the material reviewed.

How Limitless works

Each market asks a question with outcomes such as YES and NO, or Up and Down. Shares in each outcome are priced between 0 and 1 dollar, shown in cents, and the price reads as the market's implied chance. A YES share at 41.5 cents implies roughly a 41.5% chance. If the outcome occurs the share pays out in full; if not, it is worth nothing.

Trades are settled on-chain, and the project's earlier DefiLlama description talked about oracle-free, liquidation-free trading. How current markets are resolved and which data sources decide outcomes is not detailed on the homepage, so check each market's rules before trading.

Liquidity comes from traders and from incentive programmes that reward liquidity providers, according to the homepage. Quality varies: major sports and crypto markets show activity and top positions, while niche markets may have wide or stale prices.

Pros and cons

What we like

  • Very broad market selection across crypto, sport, esports, finance and politics.
  • Short-term and daily price markets suit active traders who want quick resolution.
  • Leaderboards, feeds and groups add social context to trading.
  • Settled on-chain with self-custody via a wallet, per the on-chain market model.
  • Points, liquidity incentives and staking give additional ways to participate.
  • Two audits are listed by a data tracker.

Watch out for

  • No licence or regulator is published, so legal status depends on where you live.
  • Fees, spreads and market-creation costs are not stated in the material reviewed.
  • Some markets show lopsided or placeholder-looking prices, so thin liquidity is a risk on niche events.
  • Short-term 15-minute markets make it easy to trade repeatedly and lose money fast.
  • The product has changed direction: earlier descriptions focused on liquidation-free leverage, and it now presents as a prediction market.
  • Team details and audit reports are not detailed on the homepage; only two audits are listed by a tracker.

Limitless fees

Trading fees, spreads and any market-creation or liquidity-provider fees are not published in the material reviewed. Users would see the actual cost in the trade ticket and market details inside the app before confirming.

On-chain activity also involves network gas fees on the chain you use, and prices quoted in cents reflect the market's implied probability. Read the terms and any fee disclosure in the app before placing larger trades.

Is Limitless safe?

Smart-contract risk applies, since positions are held and settled on-chain. A data tracker lists two audits, but the homepage does not detail who performed them or what they covered. Market resolution rules and the data sources behind each outcome matter too, so read them per market.

The project does not publish a gambling licence, and KYC requirements are not stated. Prediction markets sit in a legal grey area in many jurisdictions, so confirm that using one is allowed where you live. Users must be 18 or older, and anyone who feels trading is becoming a problem should set limits and seek support from a responsible gambling service.

6 steps

How to get started with Limitless

  1. 1

Check that online prediction markets or betting are legal where you live and that you are 18 or older.

  2. 2

Open the official site and confirm the URL carefully to avoid copycat sites.

  3. 3

Connect a compatible wallet and select the network the app uses, which a review source describes as Base.

  4. 4

Fund the wallet with the asset the app accepts for trading and a small amount for gas.

  5. 5

Pick a market, check the price, liquidity and end time, then place a small first position.

  6. 6

Review the points, staking and incentive pages only after you understand the trading risk.

Who Limitless is for

Limitless is for crypto-literate users who already use a self-custody wallet and want to trade on event outcomes rather than hold assets. It fits people who enjoy sports and crypto price markets and like social leaderboards. It is a poor fit for anyone who needs a licensed operator, published fees or clear regulatory status, or who is under 18.

Limitless FAQs

Is Limitless licensed, and is KYC required?

The project does not publish a licence or KYC policy in the material reviewed. Prediction markets can be regulated as gambling or derivatives, so check the rules where you live and read the terms before depositing.

Is Limitless safe to use?
