ZEROBASE CeDeFi Review 2026: Stablecoin Staking via Binance

ZEROBASE CeDeFi is a stablecoin staking product tied to the ZEROBASE zk prover network, with deposits used for arbitrage trading on Binance. It holds about $60.5M in TVL, but yield depends on a centralized trading leg that the public facts describe only briefly.

Our verdict on ZEROBASE CeDeFi

6.5/10

ZEROBASE CeDeFi suits experienced users who accept hybrid CeDeFi risk and want stablecoin yield funded by Binance arbitrage. Its strengths are around $60.5M TVL, seven-chain access and two listed audits. The main caveat is that returns rely on an off-chain, centralized trading leg whose strategy, fees and loss handling are not detailed. Read the terms and audits first, and start small.

What is ZEROBASE CeDeFi?

ZEROBASE CeDeFi is the staking side of the ZEROBASE project, which describes itself as a zk-powered prover network. DefiLlama calls it the first zk-powered staking product on stablecoins and files it under Basis Trading.

The model is a hybrid: stablecoins staked by prover nodes are used for trading arbitrage via Binance, so part of the process happens off-chain on a centralized exchange. That is why it carries the CeDeFi label.

DefiLlama shows about $60.5M in TVL, a 7-day change of -0.2%, listing since June 2025, two audits, and availability on seven chains. The project token is ZBT. Its homepage captured here does not show APY numbers or fee details.

How ZEROBASE CeDeFi works

ZEROBASE is a zk prover network, which generates zero-knowledge proofs for off-chain computation. Prover nodes must stake stablecoins to join the network, and the stake works as an incentive and constraint to keep nodes reliable.

The staked stablecoins are then used for trading arbitrage via Binance. Arbitrage generally means capturing price differences or funding spreads between markets, which fits the Basis Trading category DefiLlama assigns. The returns flow back to stakers as yield.

The homepage also mentions optional multi-stablecoin minting to further raise yields. The project does not explain how that minting works, so readers should look at the in-app documentation.

Key features

01

Stablecoin staking

Users deposit USDT into the app and can withdraw through the same interface. The project does not state lock-up periods.

02

Binance arbitrage yield

Staked stablecoins are used for trading arbitrage via Binance to produce returns beyond base staking.

03

Prover node staking

Prover nodes must stake stablecoins to join the proof network, which acts as an incentive and constraint on node behavior.

04

Multi-stablecoin minting

The homepage mentions optional multi-stablecoin minting intended to enhance yields.

05

Multi-chain access

The app has a Bridge section and DefiLlama lists seven supported chains.

06

Dashboard and strategy tabs

The interface includes a Dashboard, a Super Strategy tab and a Verifier section alongside the deposit panel.

Pros and cons

What we like

  • Meaningful TVL of about $60.5M with a stable 7-day change of -0.2%.
  • Available across seven chains including Ethereum, BNB Chain, Base and Arbitrum.
  • Two audits are listed on DefiLlama.
  • Simple deposit and withdraw interface with a dashboard and bridge.
  • Yield source (Binance arbitrage) is at least named, rather than left vague.

Watch out for

  • Returns depend on arbitrage trading run through Binance, a centralized venue, which adds counterparty and execution risk.
  • Its homepage shows no APY figure, fee schedule or withdrawal terms in the captured data.
  • The strategy mechanics (position sizing, hedging, loss handling) are not described publicly.
  • Only two audits are listed on DefiLlama, and the audit reports are not detailed publicly.
  • The product is relatively new (listed June 2025), so its track record is short.
  • Marketing around the ZBT token shows very high headline staking APRs on third-party sites, which can signal unsustainable incentives.

ZEROBASE CeDeFi fees

The project does not publish deposit, withdrawal or performance fees. Users would need to check the app's terms of use and the dashboard before depositing.

Because returns come from an off-chain arbitrage strategy, some portion of the yield may be retained by the operator, but the project does not say how. Treat the fee structure as unknown until confirmed.

Is ZEROBASE CeDeFi safe?

DefiLlama lists two audits, but the project does not name the auditors or findings. Smart-contract audits cover on-chain code, not the off-chain Binance trading leg, so users carry counterparty and strategy risk on a centralized exchange.

The project does not mention hacks or incidents, nor do they describe custody arrangements or regulatory status. Read the Terms of Use and audit reports, and only deposit what you can afford to lose.

6 steps

How to get started with ZEROBASE CeDeFi

  1. 1

Open the official ZEROBASE staking app and read the Terms of Use.

  2. 2

Check the audit links shown on the page and review what they cover.

  3. 3

Connect a compatible wallet on a supported chain such as BNB Chain or Ethereum.

  4. 4

Use the Bridge tab if your USDT is on a different supported chain.

  5. 5

Enter a small USDT amount in the Deposit panel and confirm the transaction.

  6. 6

Track your stake and APY on the Dashboard, and confirm withdrawal terms before adding more.

Who ZEROBASE CeDeFi is for

This is for stablecoin holders comfortable with hybrid CeDeFi products who want yield beyond simple lending and understand that part of the strategy runs on a centralized exchange. It is less suited to users who want fully on-chain, transparent strategies.

ZEROBASE CeDeFi FAQs

What is ZEROBASE CeDeFi?

It is a stablecoin staking product from the ZEROBASE project. Prover nodes stake stablecoins to join the proof network, and the staked funds are used for trading arbitrage via Binance to generate extra returns.

Which chains does ZEROBASE CeDeFi support?

DefiLlama lists it on BNB Chain, Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon and Avalanche. The app also shows a bridge section.

Where does the yield come from?

Yield comes from trading arbitrage carried out via Binance with the staked stablecoins. The homepage also mentions optional multi-stablecoin minting to enhance yields. The specific strategy is not detailed publicly.

What does the app let me deposit?

The app interface shows a deposit field for USDT and a dashboard with total stake, APY and a verifier section. The APY value was not captured, so check the live app.

Is it safe?

Not fully. Two audits are listed on DefiLlama, but audits do not remove risk from the off-chain trading leg or from reliance on Binance. Read the audit reports and terms before depositing.

What is the ZBT token?

ZBT is the ZEROBASE project token listed on DefiLlama. The project does not say whether staking in this product requires or pays out ZBT, so confirm in the app.
