Omnipair Review 2026: Oracleless Lending and Margin on Solana

Omnipair is a Solana protocol that combines swaps, borrowing and leveraged trading in single isolated pools, with no external price oracles. It is an interesting design, but it is young and holds little liquidity.

Our verdict on Omnipair

6.3/10

Omnipair suits experienced Solana DeFi users who want to explore an oracle-free design that combines swaps, borrowing and leverage in isolated pools. Its main strength is the unified pool model, which lets LPs earn swap fees and borrower interest. The main caveat is size and maturity: TVL is small, the protocol is new, and permissionless listings plus socialized bad debt mean real loss risk. Treat it as experimental and size positions accordingly.

What is Omnipair?

Omnipair is a permissionless liquidity protocol on Solana. It lets users swap tokens, borrow against collateral, earn yield as a liquidity provider, launch new markets and take long or short leveraged positions. DefiLlama files it under lending and describes it as a spot and margin trading protocol.

The main idea is that one pool serves several purposes. Instead of separate DEX and lending markets, a single pool handles swaps, loans and margin. The project says this lets LPs earn from three sources rather than only swap fees.

The protocol has a token, OMFG, and links to a futarchy-based governance treasury. It lists Jupiter, SwissBorg and Birdeye among its integrations. DefiLlama shows about $538K in total value locked and a listing date of March 2026, so this is a small, early-stage protocol.

How Omnipair works

Omnipair uses a pool design the project calls GAMM. A pool holds two tokens, like a standard automated market maker, but the same liquidity also supports borrowing and margin trading. Liquidity providers therefore earn swap fees and also interest paid by borrowers and leveraged traders.

Pricing does not come from an external oracle. The pool tracks two moving averages of its own swap price. Solvency is checked against the lower of them, which the project says makes flash-loan manipulation structurally impossible. That is a claim from the project and not an independent finding.

Borrow limits depend on pool depth. A larger position relative to the pool gets a lower loan-to-value ratio, because liquidating it would move the price more. Interest rates adjust with utilization. If a loan ends up under-collateralized, the loss is spread across that pool's LPs by reducing the pool's invariant.

8 features

Key features

01

Oracle-free pricing

Prices are derived from in-pool swaps using a symmetric EMA and a directional EMA. The lower of the two is used for solvency checks.

02

Unified liquidity pools

Swaps, borrowing and lending share a single pool, so LP capital is not left idle.

03

Three revenue streams for LPs

Liquidity providers earn swap fees, interest from borrowers and interest from margin traders.

04

Dynamic collateral factor

Borrow limits shrink as a position grows relative to pool depth, accounting for price impact on liquidation, capped at 85%.

05

Utilization-based borrow rates

Rates rise and fall automatically with pool utilization, without governance votes.

06

Isolated markets

Each market has separate reserves, rates and risk, so bad debt in one pool cannot spread to another.

07

Leverage trading

Users can go long or short on tokens using margin from the pools.

08

Permissionless market creation

Anyone can launch a new market for a token pair, and any SPL token can be listed.

Pros and cons

What we like

  • Oracle-free design removes dependence on external price feeds
  • One pool supports swaps, loans and margin, so LP capital is used more fully
  • Isolated pools limit bad debt to a single market
  • Impact-aware collateral factor lowers LTV as positions grow against pool depth
  • Permissionless listing lets any SPL token have a market
  • DefiLlama lists two audits

Watch out for

  • TVL is small at roughly $538K, and it fell about 15% over seven days, so liquidity is shallow
  • Oracleless pricing relies on in-pool EMAs, which can be slow or distorted in thin pools
  • Bad debt is socialized across LPs by reducing the pool invariant, so liquidity providers can take losses
  • Any SPL token can be listed without a whitelist, which exposes users to illiquid and low-quality tokens
  • The project does not publish the audit details, team, or fee schedule on the homepage
  • Listed on DefiLlama only since March 2026, so the track record is short

Omnipair fees

The homepage does not publish a fee schedule. It describes swaps as low-fee, and says LPs earn swap fees plus borrow and margin interest. Specific swap fee percentages are not stated in the material reviewed.

Borrow rates are set automatically by utilization rather than a fixed rate. Users would see live rates and fees in the app's market pages and in the docs, along with normal Solana network fees.

Is Omnipair safe?

DefiLlama lists two audits for Omnipair, but its homepage does not name the auditors. Documentation and a Security link are available from the site. The project's risk design includes pessimistic pricing, impact-aware collateral limits and isolated pools, but these are the project's own claims.

Users keep tokens in smart contracts, so they carry contract risk. Because any SPL token can be listed, thin or manipulable tokens can end up in markets, and LPs share any bad debt in their pool. The team, licensing and regulatory status are not published on the homepage. Leverage and borrowing can lead to liquidation. Only use funds you can afford to lose.

6 steps

How to get started with Omnipair

  1. 1

Install a Solana wallet and fund it with SOL for network fees plus the tokens you plan to use.

  2. 2

Open the Omnipair app and connect your wallet.

  3. 3

Browse or search the markets for the token pair you want.

  4. 4

Read the docs and the Security section so you understand the isolated pool and socialized loss model.

  5. 5

Start with a small swap or deposit to see how the interface and fees behave.

  6. 6

If borrowing or using leverage, check the collateral factor, current borrow rate and liquidation risk before you open a position.

Who Omnipair is for

Omnipair is aimed at experienced Solana DeFi users who understand AMMs, collateralized borrowing and liquidation risk. It may interest LPs looking for borrower and margin yield, traders who want leverage on long-tail tokens, and teams that want to launch a market without a listing process. Beginners should be cautious.

Omnipair FAQs

What is Omnipair?

Omnipair is a permissionless, oracleless liquidity protocol on Solana. Users can create markets, swap tokens, borrow against collateral, provide liquidity and take long or short leveraged positions on token pairs.

Does Omnipair use oracles?

It does not use external price feeds. Prices come from swaps inside each pool, using two exponential moving averages: a symmetric one for smoothing and a directional one that reacts quickly to price drops. Solvency checks use the lower of the two.

What happens if a loan goes bad?

Each market is an isolated pool. If a borrower's debt exceeds their collateral, the shortfall is absorbed by reducing the pool's constant product invariant, so all LPs in that pool share the loss. Other pools are not affected.

Which tokens can I borrow against?

The project says any SPL token can be used as collateral, with no whitelist or governance vote. Borrow limits adjust to pool depth and price impact, capped at an 85% collateral factor per its formulas.

What is the OMFG token?

OMFG is the protocol's token, referenced in the governance menu alongside a futarchy treasury link. The homepage does not spell out all token utility, so check the docs for details.

Has Omnipair been audited?

DefiLlama lists two audits, but its homepage does not name the auditors or link reports in the content we have. Check the Security link and docs for the reports. Audits reduce but do not remove smart-contract risk.
