ActiveJustLend DAO Review 2026: TRON's Compound-Style Lending
JustLend DAO is a Compound V2-style money market on TRON where users lend, borrow and rent network Energy. Its large locked value makes it a central TRON DeFi protocol, but users should verify the real site and understand liquidation risk.

Our verdict on Justlend Dao
7.3/10JustLend DAO suits users already on TRON who want to earn interest on idle TRX or stablecoins, borrow against holdings, or rent Energy. Its main strength is scale: it reports multi-billion-dollar locked value and uses a well-known lending design. The main caveat is risk. Audit and team details are not covered in the sources reviewed, liquidation can hit leveraged borrowers, and fake JustLend wallet sites are common. Verify every link before connecting a wallet.

What is Justlend Dao?
JustLend DAO is a decentralized lending protocol on the TRON network. It is built on Compound V2 architecture, with interest rates that adjust algorithmically according to supply and demand in each pool. Public reporting describes it as a core piece of TRON's DeFi infrastructure.
The protocol reports large locked value. A January 2026 listing cited more than $6.72 billion in total value locked, another from the same month cited over $6.92 billion, and a 2025 listing cited over $7.6 billion. These figures come from the project's own promotion and press-style posts and move with markets.
Beyond lending and borrowing, JustLend DAO offers an Energy rental service for TRON users. A June 2026 announcement described the launch of U Market lending, and a wallet integration was also announced to bring TRON lending assets to more users.
Several pages call themselves a JustLend DAO Wallet or official site and use promotional language. They appear to be unofficial, so readers should be careful to use only verified links. The protocol's homepage was not available for review, and details such as audits and team are not published in the material reviewed.
How Justlend Dao works
JustLend DAO is a money market. Lenders deposit tokens into shared pools, and borrowers take loans from those pools after posting other tokens as collateral. There are no individual loan terms. Borrowers can repay at any time, and lenders can withdraw as long as the pool has liquidity.
Interest rates are set by an algorithm. When a pool is heavily borrowed, rates tend to rise to attract more deposits and discourage further borrowing. When there is plenty of idle liquidity, rates fall. This follows the Compound V2 model on which the protocol is built.
Borrowing is over-collateralized. If the value of a borrower's collateral drops too far relative to the loan, part of it can be liquidated to repay the debt, which protects lenders. Alongside lending, the protocol offers an Energy rental service for TRON, which lets users cover the resource cost of transactions without burning TRX directly.
6 features
Key features
01
Money market lending
Users supply assets to pools and earn interest, or borrow other assets against collateral. The design follows Compound V2.
02
Algorithmic interest rates
Supply and borrow rates adjust automatically based on pool supply and demand rather than being set by a company.
03
Energy rental service
Users can rent Energy, which TRON needs for smart-contract transactions, instead of paying the cost in burned TRX. A listing cited roughly 6.404 TRX per day for 100,000 Energy.
04
DAO governance
The protocol is described as governed by its community through a DAO, giving participants a say in protocol changes.
05
U Market lending
A newly announced lending market called U Market was reported in June 2026, extending the range of lending options on TRON.
06
Wallet integrations
A wallet integration was announced that connects users of a major wallet to TRON lending assets through JustLend DAO.
Pros and cons
What we like
- Large reported total value locked, cited in multiple 2025 and 2026 listings, which suggests deep liquidity on TRON.
- Established Compound V2 design that many users already understand.
- Algorithmic rates respond to real supply and demand without manual setting.
- Low-cost TRON transactions and an Energy rental option to reduce resource costs.
- Community governance through a DAO model.
- Expanding product set, including the U Market lending launch reported in June 2026.
Watch out for
- Smart-contract risk: funds sit in pooled contracts, so a bug or exploit can affect all depositors.
- Borrowers can be liquidated if collateral value falls below the required ratio, including in fast markets.
- Audit reports, team details and incident history are not covered in the sources reviewed, so readers must check them independently.
- Many copycat sites and fake wallet pages use the JustLend name, which raises the risk of phishing and counterfeit apps.
- It runs only on TRON, so it suits users already in that ecosystem and offers no multi-chain choice.
- Interest rates move with supply and demand, so yields and borrowing costs are not fixed.
Justlend Dao fees
JustLend DAO's fee schedule is not covered in the sources reviewed. Costs usually come from the difference between borrow and supply rates, any protocol reserve factor, and TRON network resource costs such as Energy and bandwidth.
One listing quotes Energy rental at about 6.404 TRX per day for 100,000 Energy, and this price changes over time. Current supply and borrow rates are shown live in the app for each asset, and that is where users should check them before transacting.
Is Justlend Dao safe?
JustLend DAO is non-custodial in the sense that users interact with smart contracts from their own wallet. That removes exchange-style custody, but it adds smart-contract risk, because a flaw in the code or in a price oracle could cause losses. The audit reports and security history of the protocol are not covered in the sources reviewed, so users should read the official documentation before depositing meaningful amounts.
Counterfeit sites are a practical concern. Several pages using the JustLend DAO name promote wallets, getting-started guides or even exchange and futures services in promotional language. Treat these as unverified. Never enter a recovery phrase on a website, and confirm any app or link through official project channels.
Borrowers face liquidation if collateral falls below the required ratio, so keep a wide safety margin. Check that DeFi lending is permitted where you live. No licence or regulatory status is stated for the protocol.
6 steps
How to get started with Justlend Dao
- 1
Reach the protocol only through a link you have verified from official project channels, and ignore lookalike wallet or exchange pages.
- 2
Install a TRON-compatible wallet and back up the recovery phrase offline. Never share it with anyone.
- 3
Fund the wallet with TRX for network costs, plus the TRC-20 asset you want to lend or use as collateral.
- 4
Connect the wallet to the app and review the supply and borrow rates for each asset.
- 5
Supply an asset to earn interest, or enable it as collateral and borrow against it while keeping a safe margin above liquidation.
- 6
Monitor your collateral ratio and repay or add collateral if prices move against you.
Who Justlend Dao is for
JustLend DAO is for TRON users who hold TRX or TRC-20 tokens and want to lend, borrow or rent Energy without using a centralized exchange. It fits people who understand collateral ratios and liquidation, and who are careful about verifying links. It is less suited to beginners who have never used a self-custody wallet.
Justlend Dao FAQs
What is JustLend DAO?
JustLend DAO is a decentralized lending protocol on the TRON network. It is built on Compound V2 architecture and uses algorithmically adjusted supply and borrow rates. Users can deposit assets to earn interest or borrow against collateral.
Is JustLend DAO safe?
Not by itself. Lending carries smart-contract risk, and borrowing carries liquidation risk if collateral falls in value. The sources reviewed do not cover audit reports, so check the project's official documentation before depositing.
Which blockchain does JustLend DAO use?
JustLend DAO runs on TRON. Assets are typically TRX and TRC-20 tokens, and you need a TRON-compatible wallet to connect.
How are interest rates determined?
Rates are set by an algorithm based on the balance of supply and demand in each pool. When more of an asset is borrowed relative to what is supplied, rates generally rise. They change over time, so check the live figures in the app.
What is Energy rental on JustLend DAO?
JustLend DAO offers an Energy rental service for TRON users. One search listing quoted about 6.404 TRX per day for 100,000 Energy, but prices change, so check the current rate on the official site.
Are the JustLend DAO wallet sites genuine?
Several unofficial pages describe a JustLend DAO Wallet and use the project's name. Treat these with caution. Reach the protocol only through a link you have verified, never share your seed phrase, and be wary of pages that mention futures trading or ask for recovery phrases.
