ActiveClovis Review 2026: One Account for Vaults and Borrowing
Clovis is a multi-chain account that routes deposits into curated lending vaults, lets eligible vault positions back loans on other chains, and offers bridging. It is early-stage with small TVL, so treat it as a product to research carefully.

Good
Our verdict on Clovis
6.5/10Clovis suits DeFi users who want to manage lending-vault yield, cross-chain borrowing and bridging from one account and who are comfortable checking curators and risk settings. Its main strength is the unified view built on known lending markets. The main caveat is its small size: TVL is about $209,000, the history is short, fees are not published, and Clovis Prime is only a vision. Start small and read the docs first.

What is Clovis?
Clovis is a DeFi app that puts earning, borrowing and bridging into one account across several chains. Its pitch is to deposit once and earn everywhere, with vaults that allocate funds across established lending markets.
DefiLlama classifies it as a yield aggregator and lists it on ten chains, including Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Sei and Hyperliquid. It has been listed since September 2025, TVL is about $209,000, and the 7-day TVL change is -2.7%. DefiLlama shows no token and two audits.
The homepage shows how a vault position can back a loan on another chain while continuing to earn. It also describes Clovis Prime, a concept for using earning capital to fund perp trades. Those parts are early or conceptual, so the core live offering is the vault, borrow and bridge flow.
How Clovis works
Clovis combines three functions in one account: earning, borrowing and bridging. You deposit an asset such as USDC from your wallet into a Clovis vault on a connected chain. The vault can allocate the deposit across lending markets, and the homepage example shows Morpho, Aave, Euler and Fluid.
Where a vault position is eligible, it can act as collateral. You can borrow another asset, such as USDT, on a different chain while the vault position keeps earning. Each borrow market sets its own limit, and the interface shows the limit before you borrow.
The bridge lets you move assets between connected chains, showing the route before sending. A planned feature, Clovis Prime, would let earning capital fund perp trades on Hyperliquid under user-set margin rules, but it is presented as a vision.
7 features
Key features
01
Curated yield vaults
Deposit into a vault that can spread funds across lending markets such as Morpho, Aave, Euler and Fluid, with allocation and position visible in one place.
02
One cross-chain account
A single view shows what you hold and owe across connected chains, instead of tracking each chain separately.
03
Borrow against vaults
Eligible vault positions can back a loan on another chain while the position keeps earning yield, with a borrowing limit shown per market.
04
Built-in bridging
Move assets between connected chains, with the route and destination shown before you send.
05
Vault transparency
Each vault is described as naming its curator, allocation, chains, collateral eligibility and risk settings.
06
Browse before connecting
Users can browse vaults, borrow markets and bridge routes before connecting a wallet, and a demo is available.
07
Clovis Prime vision
A described vision to let earning capital fund perp trades on Hyperliquid, with user-set margin top-up rules. It is presented as a concept.
Pros and cons
What we like
- Combines earn, borrow and bridge in one account view
- Vaults allocate across established lending markets such as Morpho, Aave, Euler and Fluid
- Vault pages are described as naming the curator, allocation and risk settings
- Supports ten chains per DefiLlama
- Two audits are listed on DefiLlama
- Users can browse the app and a demo before connecting a wallet
Watch out for
- TVL is small at about $209,000, which suggests limited usage and liquidity depth
- Listed only since September 2025, so the track record is short
- Fees, curator names and vault risk parameters are not published on the homepage and must be checked in the app
- Cross-chain borrowing and bridging add smart-contract and bridge risk on top of lending-market risk
- Clovis Prime is described as a vision, so it should not be treated as a live product
- No native token is listed, and the points programme has no stated terms
Clovis fees
Fees are not published publicly available. The homepage does not list deposit, withdrawal, performance, borrowing or bridge fees.
Users should check each vault's page and the docs for curator fees, borrow rates and bridge route costs. Network gas fees on each chain apply to any on-chain transaction.
Is Clovis safe?
DefiLlama lists two audits, but the project does not name the auditors or give the scope. Clovis is non-custodial in the sense that users deposit from their own wallet, but funds sit in vault and lending contracts, so smart-contract risk applies at several layers: Clovis, the curators and the underlying markets.
Cross-chain borrowing and bridging add further risk, including bridge failure and liquidation if collateral value falls. With TVL of about $209,000 and a listing date of September 2025, the protocol has a short, small track record. No incidents are mentioned publicly. This is not financial advice.
6 steps
How to get started with Clovis
- 1
Open the Clovis app and browse vaults, borrow markets and bridge routes without connecting a wallet, or try the demo.
- 2
Read the docs and each vault's strategy, curator, allocation and risk settings.
- 3
Connect a wallet on a supported chain and deposit a small amount into a vault.
- 4
Check your vault position and earnings in the Clovis account view.
- 5
If you want to borrow, review the market and limit, and keep a safe margin against liquidation.
- 6
Before bridging, review the route and destination shown, then send.
Who Clovis is for
Clovis is for intermediate DeFi users who hold stablecoins or ETH on several chains and want a single place to earn on them and borrow against them. It is less suited to beginners, since borrowing, bridging and vault risk all need understanding.
Clovis FAQs
What is Clovis?
Clovis is a multi-chain DeFi account. You deposit into a vault that allocates funds across lending markets, borrow against eligible vault positions, and bridge assets between connected chains from one interface.
Which chains does Clovis support?
DefiLlama lists Sei, Arbitrum, Base, BNB Chain, Ethereum, Optimism, Avalanche, Polygon, Hyperliquid and Swellchain. Which vaults and markets are available on each chain is shown in the app.
Where does Clovis vault yield come from?
The homepage example shows a USDC vault splitting funds across Morpho, Aave, Euler and Fluid. These numbers are an illustration, so the real allocation of any vault should be checked before depositing.
Can I borrow against my vault deposit?
Where a vault position is eligible, it can serve as collateral for a loan on another chain while continuing to earn. Each market sets its own borrow limit, so check the limit and liquidation rules before borrowing.
Does Clovis have a token?
Public sources list no Clovis token. DefiLlama's description mentions Clovis points, but the terms of that programme are not stated, so check the official docs.
Is Clovis safe?
Public sources list two audits but do not name the auditors or scope. Any DeFi protocol carries smart-contract risk, so only deposit what you can afford to lose.
