bemo V1 Review 2026: Liquid Staking on TON

bemo V1 is an early liquid staking protocol on TON that gives stakers a tradable receipt token while their TON keeps earning. It is small and now has a v2 successor, so check which version you are using.

Our verdict on bemo V1

6.4/10

bemo V1 suits TON holders who want staking rewards and still want a tradable token for DeFi, and who are fine with a small protocol. Its strengths are the low 1 token entry, the liquid receipt and linked audit reports. The caveats are the small TVL, unpublished fees, and the existence of a v2 that supersedes V1's design. Check which version is current before depositing, and treat the 5% APY as a variable figure.

What is bemo V1?

bemo V1 is a liquid staking protocol on the TON blockchain. It describes itself as the first liquid staking platform on TON, and DefiLlama lists it under liquid staking since July 2023.

The pitch is simple. Stake TON, hold a receipt token that keeps earning, and use that token in DeFi instead of waiting through unstaking cool-downs. The homepage advertises a 5% staking APY and a 1 token minimum, versus 10,000 for traditional staking.

It is small, with about $1.6 million in TVL and a 7-day decline of 4.8%. It also has a v2 successor, described in April 2025 as an upgrade over V1's fixed gas limit. The project has no token listed on DefiLlama.

How bemo V1 works

You deposit TON into the protocol, which pools deposits and delegates them to validators on the TON blockchain. In return you get a liquid staking token that represents your share of the pool. Rewards accrue to that token, so its value or balance grows over time instead of being paid out separately.

Because the receipt is a normal token, you can move it without unstaking. The homepage suggests supplying it to decentralized exchange pools or lending it out to earn additional returns. Those returns come from third-party protocols and are not part of bemo itself.

To get your original TON back, you submit a withdrawal request, which redeems the receipt against the pool. You can also sell the receipt on the market, which is faster but depends on liquidity. Public reporting describes V1's gas limit as fixed, which led to high operating costs. The v2 upgrade is described as addressing this.

7 features

Key features

01

Liquid staking token

You stake TON and get a liquid staking token in your wallet. The token's balance grows as rewards accrue, so you do not have to claim anything manually.

02

No lock-up on the receipt

The homepage says the receipt token can be transferred or traded at any time. That removes the cool-down period of native unstaking.

03

DeFi composability

The token can be provided as liquidity on decentralized exchanges or lent out on lending apps. This is how holders try to earn on top of the base staking rate.

04

Low entry threshold

Staking starts at 1 token, according to the homepage. It compares this with a 10,000 token minimum for traditional staking on TON.

05

Displayed 5% APY

The homepage advertises a staking APY of 5%. It is a displayed figure, not a guarantee.

06

Withdrawal requests

Users can create a withdrawal request to redeem the staked position. Search snippets also point to docs, an FAQ and a blog.

07

Audit reports linked

The homepage shows two audit-completed badges with links to reports. The auditors are not named in its homepage.

Pros and cons

What we like

  • Liquid receipt token means staked value can be traded or used in DeFi without waiting for unstaking.
  • Low entry point: the homepage says staking can start with 1 token.
  • Homepage links two audit reports, and the project has docs, an FAQ and a blog.
  • Early TON liquid staking protocol, listed since July 2023.
  • Clear, simple user flow: stake, hold the receipt, create a withdrawal request when exiting.

Watch out for

  • Total value locked is about $1.6 million, so it is a small protocol and the staking token market is thin.
  • A newer v2 exists. It was described in April 2025 as fixing V1's fixed gas limit, which implies V1 carries extra operational cost and inefficiency.
  • DefiLlama lists no audits, while the homepage shows two audit-completed badges. The auditors and findings are not named in its homepage.
  • Fee structure, such as any cut taken from staking rewards, is not stated on the homepage.
  • The liquid staking token adds smart-contract and depeg risk on top of ordinary TON staking.
  • The 5% APY is a homepage figure and is not guaranteed.

bemo V1 fees

The homepage does not state a protocol fee, such as a share of staking rewards taken by bemo, or any deposit or withdrawal charge. Check the docs and the staking interface for the current numbers before depositing.

Expect ordinary TON network gas on every transaction. If you trade the receipt token on a DEX, you will also pay that venue's swap fees and may face slippage, which matters more in a small market.

Is bemo V1 safe?

The homepage shows two audit-completed badges with links to reports. DefiLlama lists no audits, and the auditors, scope and findings are not named in its homepage, so read the linked reports yourself. Audits reduce but do not remove smart-contract risk.

Liquid staking adds layered risk. The staking contracts, the validators receiving delegated stake and any DEX or lending protocol where you place the receipt can each fail. The receipt can also trade below the value of the TON it represents when liquidity is thin. The team, custody arrangements and any regulatory position are not published on the homepage.

6 steps

How to get started with bemo V1

  1. 1

Set up a TON-compatible wallet and fund it with TON.

  2. 2

Open the official bemo site and check the docs to confirm which version, V1 or v2, you are using.

  3. 3

Connect your wallet and choose the amount to stake. The homepage says a minimum of 1 token is enough.

  4. 4

Confirm the transaction and receive the liquid staking token in your wallet.

  5. 5

Decide whether to hold it for staking rewards only or use it in DEX liquidity or lending, understanding the extra risk.

  6. 6

To exit, create a withdrawal request in the app or sell the token on a decentralized exchange.

Who bemo V1 is for

bemo V1 is for TON holders who want to earn staking rewards without locking their tokens, and who are comfortable with smart-contract risk and a small protocol. It is less suited to anyone who needs deep liquidity or fully documented fees, and newcomers should confirm whether v2 is the better entry point.

bemo V1 FAQs

What is bemo V1?

bemo is a liquid staking protocol on the TON blockchain. You stake TON and receive a token that represents your stake, so you can keep using that value in DeFi while it earns staking rewards.

What APY does bemo offer?

The homepage shows a staking APY of 5%. Staking yields on proof-of-stake chains change over time, so treat the figure as indicative rather than a promise.

What is the minimum stake?

The homepage says you can start with 1 token, instead of the 10,000 minimum it cites for traditional staking on TON. That lowers the barrier for small holders.

What can I do with the receipt token?

The homepage says it can be transferred, traded, used in liquidity provision on decentralized exchanges, or lent out through lending applications. Each use adds its own smart-contract risk and can carry its own fees.

How do I unstake?

Public reporting describes a withdrawal request flow for turning staked tokens back into the underlying asset. Liquid staking tokens can also be sold on a DEX, which avoids waiting but depends on market liquidity and price.

Is there a newer version of bemo?

A v2 was described in April 2025 as an upgrade over V1, including a fix for V1's fixed gas limit. New users should check the official site and docs to see which version is current before depositing.

Is bemo audited?

The homepage shows audit-completed badges with report links, but DefiLlama lists no audits and the auditors are not named in its homepage. Staking contracts can still have bugs, so size positions accordingly.
