What StorX is

StorX (SRX) is the token of the StorX Network, a decentralized cloud storage network. The project says it encrypts files, splits them into fragments and spreads those fragments across hosting nodes in different locations. The aim is to let users keep control of their data and share access to it without relying on a central storage provider. According to the project's own description, the network is meant to act as a marketplace where people who host storage can be paid for doing so.

The token is issued on the XDC network, so it is an XDC-based token rather than a native chain asset. Public data sources list the project under storage, decentralized physical infrastructure (DePIN) and the XDC ecosystem.

What the token is used for

Based on the project's descriptions, SRX has two main roles. Node operators earn SRX for providing storage capacity to the network. Operators also stake SRX to take part in the network. Users can use SRX to pay for storage and other services, which the project describes as a way for the network to become self-sustaining.

These uses depend on the network working as described. Readers should treat the project's own statements as claims to check against current documentation, not as settled facts.

Supply and market data

As of 2026-11-05, the data used for this page showed a circulating supply of about 607.9 million SRX, with a total supply of the same figure and a maximum supply of 1.5 billion SRX. That means about 40 percent of the maximum was in circulation at that time. The price was about 0.053 US dollars, with a market capitalisation of about 32.1 million US dollars and a 24-hour trading volume of about 659 thousand US dollars. The token was ranked 632nd by market capitalisation.

The price has moved a lot over time. The recorded all-time high was about 4.69 US dollars on 2021-09-19, and the recorded all-time low was about 0.0085 US dollars on 2023-01-31. Over the following year the price fell about 29 percent. These figures change constantly and may be out of date when you read this.

Chains and where it is issued

SRX is issued on the XDC network. Its market data is quoted against US dollars, and it is listed under storage and DePIN categories. The data does not name a separate native chain, and the launch date and consensus method were not available publicly used for this page.

To check which chain a given SRX balance sits on, look at the token contract and the network it was sent on in a wallet or block explorer. Sending tokens to the wrong network can result in lost funds.

Risks and storage

Like other small-cap tokens, SRX carries significant risk. Its value has fallen sharply from its peak, and trading volume and liquidity can change quickly. Tokens tied to decentralized storage depend on the network attracting real users and node operators; if that does not happen, the token's stated uses may have little practical effect. Smart contract bugs, project changes and regulatory action are also possible.

If you hold SRX, store it in a wallet you control and keep the seed phrase private. Never share it with anyone. Watch for scam tokens and fake websites that copy the name. This page is for research only and is not financial advice.

By the numbers

StorX in numbers

StorX (SRX) is ranked #614 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $32.3M and a price of $0.0532 as of Nov 6, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($32.3M) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.

The price was down 3.3% over 7 days, down 4.2% over 30 days, down 28.7% over the past year. It trades about 99% below its all-time high of $4.69, set on Sep 19, 2021.

About 607.92M SRX are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 1.5B (41% issued).

24-hour trading volume was about $656K, or 2.0% of its market cap: moderate turnover.

SRX has token contracts on XDC. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

SRX is linked to Storx, which we cover in our Infrastructure rankings. See our Storx page for how the protocol works and how we score it.

SRX FAQs

What is StorX (SRX)?

StorX is a decentralized cloud storage project. The project says it encrypts files, fragments them and distributes the pieces across hosting nodes around the world, with the aim of giving users control over who can access their data.

What is SRX used for?

According to the project's descriptions, SRX is earned by node operators for providing storage and is staked by operators to take part in the network. It is also meant to be used to pay for network services.

Which blockchain is SRX on?

The token is issued on the XDC network. The data used for this page did not name a separate native chain for it.

What was the SRX price?

As of 2026-11-05, the data used here showed a price of about 0.053 US dollars and a market capitalisation of about 32.1 million US dollars. Prices change constantly, so check a live source before relying on any figure.

What is the SRX supply?

Its circulating and total supply were both about 607.9 million SRX at the time of the data, against a maximum of 1.5 billion. The gap between circulating and maximum supply means more tokens could enter circulation later, depending on the project's rules.

Is StorX a good investment?

Not necessarily. The token's uses depend on the storage network being used. Readers should weigh the risks, including the sharp fall from its all-time high, and avoid acting on hype. This page does not give buy or sell advice.

What is the market cap of StorX?

As of Nov 6, 2026, StorX had a market cap of about $32.3M, ranking #614 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.

What is the all-time high of SRX?

StorX's all-time high is $4.69, reached on Sep 19, 2021. Its all-time low is $0.008524 (Jan 31, 2023). Past prices say nothing about future returns.

What is the circulating supply of SRX?

As of Nov 6, 2026, about 607.92M SRX were in circulation, against a maximum supply of 1.5B.

Which blockchains is SRX on?

It has token contracts on XDC.
