What Nosana is

Nosana is a decentralized compute network built on Solana. It connects people who need processing power, mainly for AI workloads, with people who have spare GPU hardware and want to earn from it. Customers pay for jobs, and hardware owners run those jobs as nodes in exchange for rewards.

The project began with a narrower pitch. Its older description talks about decentralized CPU-based DevOps and CI/CD tooling for open source and Metaverse projects. Over time the focus moved toward GPU rental and AI inference, which is how the network describes itself today.

NOS is the network's native token. It is issued on Solana as an SPL token, so it is not the native coin of its own blockchain. On the data site we draw from, it sits in the AI tokens and DePIN (decentralized physical infrastructure) categories, alongside other projects that try to coordinate real-world hardware through a token.

What the NOS token is used for

Public project material describes NOS as serving several roles in the network. The main one is payment: users spend NOS to run AI workloads on GPUs supplied by node operators. Node operators in turn earn NOS for contributing compute.

Staking is a second role. Holders can stake NOS to earn rewards, and the project says staking also helps secure the network and line up incentives between GPU providers and users. A third role is governance, where holders can take part in decisions about the protocol.

How much of this activity actually happens on-chain, and how much demand there is for the compute itself, are separate questions from what the token is designed to do. Readers should check the project's own documentation for the current staking terms, reward rates and governance process, since those can change.

Supply and tokenomics

NOS has a fixed-looking supply profile. The maximum supply is 100 million tokens, and the circulating and total supply were both about 99.99 million as of 2026-11-05. In practice that means almost the entire supply is already in circulation.

Because of this, the fully diluted valuation and the market capitalization were nearly identical at the time of writing, both about $47.3 million. There is no large block of locked tokens in the data that would add new sell pressure from future unlocks, although the data does not describe how early allocations or team and investor holdings are split or whether any vesting remains.

The data also does not state how staking rewards or node payments are funded, for example from a reserved pool or from new issuance. If you want to understand ongoing inflation or reward funding, check the official tokenomics documentation rather than relying on supply figures alone.

Chains, holding and trading

NOS is issued on Solana, which is the only chain listed in the data. You hold it in any wallet that supports Solana tokens, such as common browser and mobile Solana wallets or a hardware wallet that supports the network. Each wallet needs a small amount of SOL to pay transaction fees.

NOS trades on centralized exchanges and on Solana-based decentralized exchanges. Market data showed about $771,739 in 24-hour trading volume as of 2026-11-05, against a market cap of roughly $47.3 million, and a market cap rank of about 467. That is modest liquidity, so larger orders can move the price noticeably and spreads can widen on thinner venues.

Always confirm the token's mint address from official project channels before swapping on a decentralized exchange, because lookalike tokens with the same name or ticker are common on Solana.

History and price context

The data does not give a launch date, so this section sticks to what the price record shows. NOS hit an all-time low of about $0.0105 on 2023-10-23 and an all-time high of about $7.83 on 2024-03-06, a period when AI-linked and DePIN tokens drew heavy market attention.

As of 2026-11-05 the price was about $0.47, far below that peak. Over the preceding seven days it had risen by roughly 10.6 percent, and over one year by roughly 36.7 percent, according to the data. Those moves say little about what comes next and are shown only to illustrate how volatile the token has been.

The project's own positioning has also shifted, from CPU-based DevOps tooling toward GPU rental for AI inference. That kind of change in focus is worth noting when you read older articles or documentation that describe the network differently.

Risks to understand

NOS is a small-cap token, and the main risks are the ones common to that group. Prices can swing sharply, and the drop from the 2024 high shows how large those swings can be. Liquidity is limited compared with major assets.

There is also business risk. Decentralized GPU markets compete with large cloud providers and with other crypto compute networks. Token value depends partly on whether real customers keep paying for compute on the network, and that is hard to verify from outside.

Technical and security risks apply too: smart contract bugs, wallet phishing, fake tokens and impersonation scams. Node operators face their own risks, including hardware costs and reward changes. Nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell, and you should only commit money you can afford to lose.

How to store NOS safely

Use a wallet you control rather than leaving tokens on an exchange for long periods. For meaningful amounts, a hardware wallet that supports Solana adds protection against malware on your computer or phone.

Write your recovery phrase down offline and never type it into a website, chat or support form. No legitimate team will ask for it. Keep a little SOL in the wallet for fees.

Before interacting with staking or any other app, check that you are on the correct official site, and review the permissions a transaction asks you to approve. Revoke token approvals you no longer need. Send a small test transaction first when moving funds to a new address, and double-check the token's mint address to avoid counterfeit versions.

By the numbers

Nosana in numbers

Nosana (NOS) is ranked #495 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $42.2M and a price of $0.4217 as of Nov 6, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($42.2M) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.

The price was up 3.8% over 7 days, down 24.7% over 30 days, up 18.4% over the past year. It trades about 95% below its all-time high of $7.83, set on Mar 6, 2024.

About 100M NOS are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 100M (100% issued).

24-hour trading volume was about $630K, or 1.5% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.

NOS has token contracts on Solana. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

NOS FAQs

What is Nosana (NOS)?

NOS is the native token of the Nosana Network. It is used to pay for GPU compute, to stake for rewards, and to take part in governance. It is issued on Solana as a token rather than being the coin of its own blockchain.

How does Nosana work?

Nosana is a decentralized network where AI developers rent GPU power and hardware owners earn rewards for running jobs as nodes. Payments are made in NOS, and the network is built on Solana.

What is the supply of NOS?

The maximum supply is 100 million NOS. As of 2026-11-05 about 99.99 million were in circulation, so almost all of the supply already exists. The data does not say how reward payments are funded going forward.

Which blockchain is NOS on, and where is it traded?

NOS is issued on Solana, so it works in Solana-compatible wallets. It trades on exchanges and on Solana decentralized exchanges. Check the official mint address before swapping to avoid fake tokens.

Will NOS go up?

No one can reliably predict that, and this page does not give price forecasts or advice. NOS is a small-cap token that fell far from its 2024 high of about $7.83 and can be highly volatile, so treat any holding as high risk.

What is the market cap of Nosana?

As of Nov 6, 2026, Nosana had a market cap of about $42.2M, ranking #495 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.

What is the all-time high of NOS?

Nosana's all-time high is $7.83, reached on Mar 6, 2024. Its all-time low is $0.0105 (Oct 23, 2023). Past prices say nothing about future returns.

What is the circulating supply of NOS?

As of Nov 6, 2026, about 100M NOS were in circulation, against a maximum supply of 100M.

Which blockchains is NOS on?

It has token contracts on Solana.
