What InfiniFi USD is
InfiniFi USD (IUSD) is a dollar-pegged token issued on Ethereum by the infiniFi protocol. The project's documentation describes iUSD as an ERC-20 token that represents the value a user has deposited into infiniFi. Data aggregators file it under yield-bearing stablecoins.
The idea behind infiniFi, as set out in its lite paper, is a depositor-driven system that tries to deal with duration gaps. A duration gap is the mismatch in traditional banking between deposits that can be withdrawn at any time and assets that are tied up for longer periods. infiniFi aims to handle that mismatch by coordinating depositors themselves instead of relying on a bank-style intermediary.
IUSD is not a fiat-backed token issued by a regulated bank, and it is not an algorithmic coin that holds its peg through a native governance token. It is a receipt-style token tied to how the protocol deploys deposited funds. The project has not published a detailed description that we could verify for this page, so anything beyond the documentation summary above should be checked against the official docs before you rely on it.
What the token is used for
The main purpose of iUSD is to show a user's deposited value inside infiniFi. Holding it means holding a claim on that deposit rather than holding a plain, non-yielding dollar token.
The documentation says users can look for yield on iUSD in secondary markets. In practice that means iUSD can be moved to other DeFi venues, such as decentralized exchanges or lending markets, if those venues list it. Whether they do, and how deep the liquidity is, varies.
Third-party listings also mention a related token, staked iUSD (sIUSD). Those listings describe it as a tokenized fund share that can be minted and redeemed directly with infiniFi in iUSD. We could not verify the exact mechanics of staking, lock-ups or yield rates from the data available, so we do not quote any. Treat any yield figure you see on a third-party site as unconfirmed until you check it in the protocol's own interface.
IUSD is not described as a governance token, a gas token or a game currency. Its role is a dollar-denominated position inside one protocol.
Supply and tokenomics
At the time of writing (as of 2026-11-05), about 70.35 million IUSD were in circulation, and the total supply matched that figure. No maximum supply is listed. That is normal for this kind of token, because supply generally expands and contracts as users deposit and redeem.
The market capitalization was about $70.3 million, and the fully diluted valuation was identical, since circulating and total supply are the same. On that basis the token ranked around 349 by market cap among tracked assets. The price was about $0.999, and it had moved by less than 0.1% over the previous seven days and by roughly -0.05% over one year.
Supply is the number to watch, more than price. For a token meant to hold one dollar, a growing supply suggests more deposits, and a shrinking one suggests redemptions. It tells you nothing, though, about the quality of the assets behind it.
There is no separate team allocation, vesting schedule or token emission program in the data we have. If the protocol runs incentives or points programs, they are not covered here.
Chains, holding and trading
IUSD is issued on Ethereum as an ERC-20 token. Any Ethereum-compatible wallet, including MetaMask and hardware wallets that support Ethereum, can hold it. You typically add it by importing the token contract address, which you should copy only from the project's official documentation and not from a search result or a chat message.
The data does not list any chain for which IUSD is the native token, and we have no verified list of other networks where it has been bridged. Assume Ethereum only unless the official docs say otherwise.
Trading activity is very thin. Reported 24-hour volume was only about $1,506 at the time of writing, against a market cap above $70 million. Most of the value sits in the protocol itself, not in open-market trading. The usual route for getting IUSD is therefore to deposit into infiniFi, and to redeem through it as well, with secondary-market swaps being a less reliable option.
With so little volume, the quoted market price can be a poor guide. Different sites showed slightly different prices for the same token, and a large swap on a thin pool can move the price more than you expect.
History and notable events
The data we have gives no verified launch date for IUSD, so we do not state one. The project's lite paper and FAQ are the main public explanations of its design.
One thing in the price data stands out. The recorded all-time high is about $1.38 on 2026-01-10, and the all-time low is about $0.243 on 2026-01-04, only six days earlier. For a token that normally sits at about one dollar, those swings are unusual. They could reflect a brief episode on a thin market, an early-listing data quirk or a bad price feed. We cannot tell which from the public information available, and we do not claim a cause.
What the figures do show is that thin trading venues can produce prices far from the intended peg, even when the token is mostly redeemed at par elsewhere. Anyone checking history should compare several sources and look at the protocol's own redemption data, not only chart extremes.
We found no verified information about audits, incidents or partnerships, and we do not list any. Check the official channels for current news.
Risks to understand
Several risks apply to IUSD, and none of them are unique to it.
Smart contract risk. Funds sit in protocol contracts. A bug or exploit could harm depositors, and even audited code can fail.
Peg and redemption risk. Staying near $1 depends on the protocol's ability to honor redemptions. If many users withdraw at once, or if deployed assets cannot be turned into cash quickly, redemptions could be delayed or the market price could drop below $1. The duration-gap problem that infiniFi aims to solve is exactly this kind of risk.
Liquidity risk. Daily trading volume is tiny, so selling a large amount on the open market may be costly.
Strategy and counterparty risk. Yield has to come from somewhere. We could not verify how infiniFi earns it, so you should read the documentation to see what the funds are exposed to.
Regulatory risk. Tokenized fund-style products and yield-bearing stablecoins may face rules that differ by country.
Nothing here is investment advice, and we make no price predictions. Only commit what you can afford to lose.
How to store it safely
Because IUSD is a standard ERC-20 token, safe storage follows general Ethereum practice.
For larger amounts, use a hardware wallet and keep the recovery phrase offline, written on paper or metal and stored somewhere only you can reach. Never type it into a website, share it in a chat or store it in a cloud note. No legitimate support team will ask for it.
Verify the token contract address against the official infiniFi documentation before importing it, since fake tokens with the same name and symbol are common. Check the address on a block explorer, and make sure you are on the real protocol website before connecting a wallet, ideally by using a bookmark you saved earlier.
Be careful with token approvals. When you interact with a DeFi app, you may grant it permission to spend your tokens. Approve only the amount you need, and review and revoke old approvals from time to time with an approval-management tool.
Keep a little ETH in the same wallet for network fees. Without it, you cannot move or redeem your IUSD.
By the numbers
InfiniFi USD in numbers
InfiniFi USD (IUSD) is ranked #341 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $70.8M and a price of $0.9982 as of Nov 6, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($70.8M) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.
The price was up 0.0% over 7 days, down 0.1% over 30 days, down 0.1% over the past year. It trades about 28% below its all-time high of $1.38, set on Jan 10, 2026.
About 70.96M IUSD are in circulation. No hard maximum supply is listed, so new tokens can still be issued.
24-hour trading volume was about $1.79K, or 0.0% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.
IUSD has token contracts on Ethereum. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

IUSD FAQs
Is InfiniFi USD (IUSD) a stablecoin?
IUSD is meant to track one US dollar. At the time of writing (as of 2026-11-05) it traded at about $0.999. Its peg depends on the infiniFi protocol's redemptions, not on a bank guarantee, so it can drift from $1.
What does IUSD represent?
The protocol's documentation says iUSD represents a user's deposited value in infiniFi, and that users can seek yield on it in secondary markets. We could not verify specific yield rates or how the yield is produced, so check the official docs for current terms.
Which blockchain is IUSD on?
IUSD is issued on Ethereum as an ERC-20 token. We have no verified information about other networks, so assume Ethereum unless the official documentation says otherwise.
Does IUSD have a maximum supply?
No. Circulating and total supply were both about 70.35 million at the time of writing, and no maximum is listed. Supply for this kind of token generally rises and falls with deposits and redemptions.
Why does IUSD have such odd all-time high and low prices?
The price data shows a low near $0.243 and a high near $1.38 in early January 2026, which is far from the intended $1. We cannot confirm the cause. Thin trading volume or a data quirk are possible explanations, so compare several sources and the protocol's own data.
Is InfiniFi USD the same as Indigo Protocol's iUSD?
IUSD is also not the same as Indigo Protocol's iUSD, which is a separate asset on the Cardano network. Always check the token contract address and the project name before buying or depositing.
What is the market cap of InfiniFi USD?
As of Nov 6, 2026, InfiniFi USD had a market cap of about $70.8M, ranking #341 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
What is the all-time high of IUSD?
InfiniFi USD's all-time high is $1.38, reached on Jan 10, 2026. Its all-time low is $0.2431 (Jan 4, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.
What is the circulating supply of IUSD?
As of Nov 6, 2026, about 70.96M IUSD were in circulation; no fixed maximum supply is listed.
Which blockchains is IUSD on?
It has token contracts on Ethereum.
