## What is Hermetica USDh?
Hermetica USDh (USDH) is a dollar-pegged synthetic asset created by the Hermetica protocol. The project describes it as Bitcoin-backed: its design pairs BTC exposure with a short perpetual futures position to produce a synthetic dollar. This is different from a stablecoin backed by cash or bank deposits, and USDH is not itself Bitcoin. Hermetica presents USDH as a way to hold a dollar-like asset within Bitcoin-focused decentralized finance (DeFi). Its value is intended to track the US dollar, but the peg is not guaranteed and the market price can move above or below one dollar. USDH may also be staked through Hermetica to seek yield. That yield is variable, not a fixed return, and holding USDH alone should not be assumed to earn it.
## How USDH and its yield work
Hermetica says the short perpetual futures position can generate funding-rate payments, which it passes to users who stake USDH. The project has advertised yield of up to 25% APY, but “up to” is a maximum claim rather than a promised rate. Funding rates change with market conditions and may fall, turn negative, or otherwise fail to support a particular return. Staking is therefore distinct from simply holding the token, and it introduces additional protocol and contract risks. USDH is intended for uses such as keeping dollar-denominated value in Bitcoin-related DeFi and potentially participating in supported lending or trading applications. Whether those uses are available depends on the applications and integrations in operation. Before using USDH, check the current staking terms, withdrawal conditions, and how the protocol manages its BTC exposure and futures positions.
## Supply and blockchain
USDH is issued on Stacks, a blockchain connected to the Bitcoin ecosystem. The project describes the asset as serving Bitcoin Layer 1 and Layer 2 users, but that broad positioning does not mean the token is natively issued on Bitcoin itself. Confirm that a wallet or application supports the Stacks version before sending USDH; sending it to an address or network that cannot handle it could result in loss. As of 2026-11-05, reported circulating and total supply were both about 1.85 million USDH, with no maximum supply specified. The reported price was about $1, and market capitalization was about $1.9 million on that date. These are time-sensitive market figures, not guarantees of redemption value. Supply and market data can change as tokens are issued, redeemed, or traded.
## Risks to consider
USDH carries risks beyond the usual possibility that a token’s market price fluctuates. Its dollar peg may weaken if market demand, protocol operations, or the value and management of its backing fail to maintain confidence. The BTC-backed design also uses perpetual futures, bringing funding-rate, exchange or counterparty, and position-management risks. A hedge may not perform as intended in all market conditions. Smart-contract defects, exploits, operational failures, or problems with access to collateral could affect the token or staked funds. Yield is variable and may be lower than advertised or unavailable; a high stated maximum should not be treated as an expected return. Public sources do not establish that USDH is backed by cash reserves, insured, or redeemable at a fixed rate in every circumstance. Read current protocol documentation and understand the relevant terms before using it.
## Storage and safe handling
Store USDH in a wallet that explicitly supports Stacks tokens, and keep control of the wallet’s recovery phrase or private keys. A wallet supporting Bitcoin does not necessarily support Stacks assets, so check the network and token details before receiving or transferring USDH. For larger balances, consider how you will protect recovery information from theft, loss, and unauthorized access; never share it with another person or enter it into an unverified site or application. If you stake USDH, understand that the token may be subject to separate contract rules, lockups, or withdrawal delays, depending on the current product terms. Verify the destination and network for every transfer, and consider making a small test transfer when appropriate. These steps reduce avoidable mistakes, but they do not remove market, peg, smart-contract, or protocol risks.
By the numbers
Hermetica USDh in numbers
Hermetica USDh (USDH) is ranked #2,452 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $1.85M and a price of $1.00 as of Nov 7, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($1.85M) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.
The price was down 0.1% over 7 days, up 0.0% over 30 days, down 1.2% over the past year. It trades about 20% below its all-time high of $1.25, set on Aug 6, 2026.
About 1.85M USDH are in circulation. No hard maximum supply is listed, so new tokens can still be issued.
24-hour trading volume was about $4.41K, or 0.2% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.
USDH has token contracts on Stacks. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

USDH FAQs
Is USDH always worth one dollar?
USDH is designed to track the US dollar, but its market price can move away from one dollar. Its peg is not guaranteed.
How does USDH yield work?
Hermetica says staked USDH can earn variable yield from funding payments on a short perpetual futures position. The advertised “up to 25% APY” is not a guaranteed or fixed rate.
Which blockchain is USDH on?
USDH is issued on Stacks, rather than natively on Bitcoin itself. Use a wallet or application that explicitly supports Stacks tokens.
What is the supply of USDH?
The reported circulating and total supply were about 1.85 million USDH as of 2026-11-05. No maximum supply was specified, and supply figures can change.
What are the main risks of USDH?
Key risks include loss of the dollar peg, changes in futures funding rates, problems managing the BTC hedge, and smart-contract or operational failures. Staking yield is variable and should not be treated as assured.
What is the market cap of Hermetica USDh?
As of Nov 7, 2026, Hermetica USDh had a market cap of about $1.85M, ranking #2,452 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
What is the all-time high of USDH?
Hermetica USDh's all-time high is $1.25, reached on Aug 6, 2026. Its all-time low is $0.8097 (Jul 28, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.
What is the circulating supply of USDH?
As of Nov 7, 2026, about 1.85M USDH were in circulation; no fixed maximum supply is listed.
Which blockchains is USDH on?
It has token contracts on Stacks.
