## What is Fuse?

Fuse is an EVM-compatible Layer 1 blockchain designed for payments and settlement. Its stated focus is helping businesses, apps and autonomous agents move money, settle transactions and support programmable commerce. The network has been live since 2019 and uses Delegated Proof-of-Stake (DPoS) consensus.

Fuse’s ecosystem includes Solid, a non-custodial consumer finance app that offers stablecoin yield, a Visa debit card and lending. The network also describes support for agent-oriented payment standards, including x402, MPP and MCP. These are network and ecosystem features; they do not mean that FUSE itself is a stablecoin or that returns from any app are guaranteed.

FUSE is the native token of the Fuse network. It is used to pay transaction fees, or gas, on that chain. Fuse is an EVM network, so developers can build applications using tools familiar to Ethereum developers, though assets and applications on different networks remain subject to their own risks.

## What is FUSE used for?

FUSE pays gas fees for transactions on the Fuse network. A user may need it to interact with smart contracts or transfer tokens there. The network’s DPoS consensus model is also relevant to how it operates, but public sources do not specify the exact rewards, delegation rules or minimum requirements for participating in validation. Check current network documentation before committing tokens to staking or delegation.

The project positions Fuse as a payment and settlement layer rather than describing FUSE as a dollar-pegged payment token. Its payment use cases may involve stablecoins or other digital assets, while FUSE is the network’s native asset. Network activity and use of an app do not guarantee demand for FUSE or a particular token value.

FUSE is distinct from the Solid app and its services. Features such as lending, card spending and stablecoin yield are app-level offerings, and their availability, terms and risks may differ from the functions of the FUSE token itself.

## Supply and market information

As of 2026-11-05, about 393.6 million FUSE were circulating, while total supply was also about 393.6 million. The figures are close but not identical. No maximum supply is specified in the available supply information, so these figures should not be read as a confirmed fixed cap. Token supply can change, and current figures should be checked before making decisions.

At the same date, FUSE traded at about $0.00694, with a market capitalization of roughly $2.7 million. These are time-specific market figures, not a valuation forecast. Crypto prices, trading volume and market capitalization can move quickly, and smaller tokens may have limited liquidity compared with larger digital assets.

FUSE has had substantial price movement over its history. Past highs, lows and recent performance do not establish what the token will be worth in the future. This page does not provide a price prediction or a recommendation to buy or sell.

## Chains and storage

FUSE is native to the Fuse blockchain and is also issued on Ethereum, Arbitrum, BNB Chain, Base, Optimism, xDai and Polygon. A token displayed with the same name and ticker on another chain may be a bridged or otherwise chain-specific representation. Confirm the network and token contract through a trusted source before sending funds; sending tokens to an incompatible address or network can result in loss.

For self-custody, use a wallet that supports the relevant EVM network and the specific chain where your FUSE is held. Keep your recovery phrase offline and private, and never share it with a person or website claiming to provide support. A hardware wallet can help protect signing keys, but it does not remove smart-contract, bridge or user-error risks.

If using an exchange or a bridge, check supported networks, withdrawal and deposit requirements, and any fees before transferring. Do not assume that FUSE on one chain can be used to pay gas on another.

## Risks to consider

FUSE can lose value, and its market price may be volatile. The token’s market capitalization and liquidity are relatively small in the snapshot above, which can make prices more sensitive to trading activity. There is no guarantee that an asset can be sold quickly or at a desired price.

Using the Fuse network also involves technical risks. Smart contracts can contain bugs, bridges can fail or be exploited, and transactions sent to the wrong address or chain may be difficult or impossible to recover. Network or wallet disruptions can affect access to funds. DPoS consensus and the use of a blockchain do not eliminate these risks.

Apps connected to Fuse have separate risks. Lending and yield products can involve loss of principal, changing terms, counterparty exposure or smart-contract failures; a payment card may also be subject to issuer and regional requirements. Review each service’s terms and risks independently, and only use funds you can afford to lose.

By the numbers

Fuse in numbers

Fuse (FUSE) is ranked #2,133 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $2.67M and a price of $0.006776 as of Nov 6, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($2.67M) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.

The price was down 13.7% over 7 days, down 26.2% over 30 days, down 6.2% over the past year. It trades about 100% below its all-time high of $2.13, set on Jan 20, 2022.

About 393.57M FUSE are in circulation. No hard maximum supply is listed, so new tokens can still be issued.

24-hour trading volume was about $269K, or 10% of its market cap: high turnover.

FUSE is the native token of Fuse; it also has token contracts on 7 chains we track, including Ethereum, Arbitrum, BNB Chain, Base. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

CoinGecko groups FUSE under Layer 1 tokens, Layer 2 tokens.

FUSE FAQs

What is FUSE used for?

FUSE is the native token of the Fuse blockchain and is used to pay gas fees for transactions on that network. It is not described as a stablecoin.

Does Fuse use proof of stake?

Fuse uses Delegated Proof-of-Stake consensus. The specific delegation rules and rewards can change, so check current network documentation before staking or delegating tokens.

Which networks support FUSE?

FUSE is native to Fuse and is also issued on Ethereum, Arbitrum, BNB Chain, Base, Optimism, xDai and Polygon. Confirm the chain and token contract before sending or receiving it.

How do I store FUSE?

Use a wallet that supports the chain where your FUSE is held, and keep your recovery phrase private and offline. Check the network carefully when transferring, since an incorrect chain or address can lead to lost funds.

What is the supply of FUSE?
