## What is Fuel Network (FUEL)?
Fuel Network (FUEL) is a crypto token associated with the Fuel project. Fuel is also the name used for Fuel Ignition, an Ethereum layer-2 rollup. These are related parts of the project, but FUEL should not be confused with the Fuel Ignition network itself: a token can be issued on a blockchain without being that chain’s native asset. Public sources do not specify that FUEL is the native token of any chain.
Fuel Bridge is the canonical bridge between Ethereum and Fuel Ignition. It lets users move assets onto or off the rollup, but that does not by itself establish that FUEL is required to use the bridge. The project’s full token design and current utility may change, so check official project materials for the latest details before relying on a particular use.
## What is FUEL used for?
Public project materials describe staking FUEL on Ethereum, with rewards accruing to stakers. Staking involves committing tokens under the terms of the relevant contract or service; it is not the same as simply holding FUEL in a wallet. Rewards, lock-up conditions, withdrawal rules and any slashing or other penalties depend on the staking design and should be checked before participating.
FUEL is also discussed in relation to Fuel’s network and token economy. However, public sources do not establish a complete, final list of active token functions or confirm that FUEL is required for transaction fees, governance, or use of Fuel Bridge. A draft tokenomics proposal is not proof that proposed mechanics have been implemented. Treat claims about fee use, burns, buybacks or staking incentives as unconfirmed unless current project documentation explains the live arrangements.
## FUEL supply and market context
As of 2026-11-05, about 9.75 billion FUEL were circulating, out of roughly 10.60 billion total tokens. the public information available do not state a maximum supply, so there is no confirmed fixed cap to report here. Circulating supply can differ from total supply because some tokens may not yet be in circulation; the figures can also change as tokens are issued, unlocked, or otherwise reclassified.
FUEL’s quoted market price was about $0.00072 on that date, with a market capitalization of about $7.0 million and a fully diluted valuation of about $7.6 million. These are time-sensitive estimates, not stable measures of value. The token had fallen substantially from its recorded all-time high, but past price movements do not indicate what it will do next. Market prices and supply figures can vary between data providers and trading venues.
## Chains, storage and risks
FUEL is issued on Ethereum and BNB Chain. Public sources do not identify a chain on which it is the native token. Before sending or receiving FUEL, confirm that the wallet and destination service support the specific network you intend to use. Tokens with the same name or symbol can exist on different chains, and selecting the wrong network can make recovery difficult or impossible.
For self-custody, use a wallet that supports the relevant chain and keep your recovery phrase offline and private. Never share it with a person or website claiming to help with a transfer or staking deposit. Smart-contract interactions, staking, and bridging all carry risks, including contract bugs, loss of access, network disruptions, and mistaken transactions. A bridge is an additional point of risk; verify that you are using Fuel Bridge and understand its current process and terms. Do not assume that bridge access requires FUEL unless the project confirms it.
By the numbers
Fuel Network in numbers
Fuel Network (FUEL) is ranked #1,463 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $6.99M and a price of $0.0007165 as of Nov 6, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $7.59M, so roughly 92% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.
The price was down 15.9% over 7 days, down 5.0% over 30 days, down 73.8% over the past year. It trades about 99% below its all-time high of $0.0838, set on Dec 29, 2024.
About 9.76B FUEL are in circulation, from a total supply of 10.6B. No hard maximum supply is listed.
24-hour trading volume was about $229K, or 3.3% of its market cap: moderate turnover.
FUEL has token contracts on 2 chains we track, including Ethereum, BNB Chain. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.
FUEL is linked to Fuel Bridge, which we cover in our Canonical Bridge rankings. See our Fuel Bridge page for how the protocol works and how we score it.

FUEL FAQs
Which networks support FUEL?
FUEL is issued on Ethereum and BNB Chain. Public sources do not identify it as the native token of any chain.
Can you stake FUEL?
Project materials describe staking FUEL on Ethereum, with rewards accruing to participants. Check current terms, including lock-ups, withdrawal conditions and possible penalties, before staking.
Is FUEL required to use Fuel Bridge?
Fuel Bridge is the canonical bridge for moving assets between Ethereum and Fuel Ignition. Public sources do not confirm that FUEL is needed to use it.
What is the supply of FUEL?
The stated supply is about 9.75 billion circulating and 10.60 billion total as of 2026-11-05. No maximum supply is specified.
How should I store FUEL?
Use a wallet that supports the chain holding your tokens, and verify the network and destination address before transferring. Keep your recovery phrase private and be cautious with staking and bridge contracts.
What is the market cap of Fuel Network?
As of Nov 6, 2026, Fuel Network had a market cap of about $6.99M, ranking #1,463 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
