ActiveJones DAO Review 2026: Yield Vaults on Arbitrum
Jones DAO is a yield and strategy protocol on Arbitrum and Ethereum that offers one-click vaults, vault-backed jAssets and automated V3 liquidity management. It is small by TVL and relies on layered strategies, so risk is higher than a plain deposit.

Good
Our verdict on Jones DAO
6.5/10Jones DAO suits experienced DeFi users who want exposure to GLP, AURA or automated V3 liquidity strategies packaged into vault tokens. Its strengths are the range of strategies and the one-click deposit model with optional auto-compounding. The main caveat is risk. TVL is small, strategies are layered and leveraged, contracts are upgradable, and fees are not stated publicly. Read the docs and audits and size positions carefully.

What is Jones DAO?
Jones DAO is a yield, strategy and liquidity protocol listed on DefiLlama under Yield Aggregator. It runs on Arbitrum and Ethereum, and its homepage describes one-click vaults that give access to DeFi strategies through yield-bearing tokens called jAssets. DefiLlama has tracked it since February 2022.
The current product set on the homepage includes the Leveraged Delta GLP Vault (jGLP), the Gamma Neutral USDC Vault (jUSDC), the jAURA auto-compounder and Smart LP for automated V3 liquidity management. DefiLlama's description also mentions options strategies, which reflects the protocol's earlier focus.
TVL on DefiLlama is about $972,000, with a 7-day change of 0.2%. The homepage shows a higher figure of about $1.9M. Either way the protocol is small. It has its own token, JONES, and DefiLlama lists two audits.
How Jones DAO works
Jones DAO packages DeFi strategies into vaults. A user deposits an asset, the vault runs the strategy on their behalf, and the user receives a yield-bearing token that represents a share of the vault. Yield can compound automatically into more shares.
The GLP products show how the pieces connect. The Leveraged Delta GLP Vault takes GLP basket assets, borrows from the Jones USDC vault to buy more GLP, and adjusts leverage within a predefined range. Yield comes from GMX rewards and is paid in ETH. The USDC vault lends to that vault and earns part of the rewards.
Other products follow the same idea. jAURA auto-compounds AURA, and Smart LP automates concentrated V3 liquidity positions. DefiLlama also describes the protocol as focused on options strategies and options-backed asset tokens, although the homepage now emphasises GLP, AURA and Smart LP.
6 features
Key features
01
One-click strategy vaults
Vaults give one-click access to DeFi strategies and return yield-bearing tokens, so users don't have to run the strategy themselves.
02
Leveraged Delta GLP Vault
The Leveraged Delta GLP Vault accepts GLP basket assets, borrows from the Jones USDC vault to mint more GLP, and adjusts leverage within set risk parameters.
03
Gamma Neutral USDC Vault
The USDC vault denominates deposits and yield in USDC. It lends to the GLP vault and earns a share of jGLP rewards.
04
jAURA auto-compounding
jAURA auto-compounds AURA, with each token backed by more vlAURA over time via integrations with Aura Finance, Balancer and Hidden Hand.
05
Smart LP
A suite of automated concentrated-liquidity strategies for V3 positions, intended to reduce manual management.
06
Optional auto-compounding
Users can auto-compound into more vault shares or collect the yield themselves.
Pros and cons
What we like
- Offers several distinct strategies, including leveraged GLP, USDC lending, AURA auto-compounding and automated V3 liquidity.
- Yield is described as coming from real rewards, such as GMX rewards paid in ETH.
- Auto-compounding is optional, so users can choose to collect yield themselves.
- DefiLlama lists two audits.
- Operating since 2022, per DefiLlama's listing date.
- Docs, GitHub, blog, Discord and Twitter are available for research.
Watch out for
- TVL is small, at about $972,000 on DefiLlama, so liquidity and community depth are limited.
- Leveraged strategies such as the Leveraged Delta GLP Vault add liquidation and market risk on top of smart-contract risk.
- Vault yields depend on third-party protocols (GMX, Aura, Balancer, Hidden Hand), so a failure in any of them can affect users.
- Strategy incentives and yields are governed by upgradable smart contracts controlled by Jones DAO, which means a trust assumption.
- Fee levels are not stated, so users must check the app and docs.
- The homepage TVL figure ($1.9M) differs from the DefiLlama figure, and some product details may be dated.
Jones DAO fees
Fee levels are not published publicly supplied for this review. The homepage and DefiLlama data do not list management, performance or withdrawal fees.
Users should check the vault pages in the Jones app and the official documentation before depositing. Normal network gas costs on Arbitrum or Ethereum also apply.
Is Jones DAO safe?
DefiLlama lists two audits for Jones DAO, but public sources do not name the auditors or give the results. Audits reduce risk without removing it. Funds sit in smart contracts, and a Google result notes that incentives and yields are governed by upgradable contracts controlled by Jones DAO, which requires trust in the team and governance.
Strategy risk is separate. The GLP vault uses leverage, and the products rely on GMX, Aura Finance, Balancer and Hidden Hand. A problem in any of these can hurt vault users. Public sources do not mention hacks or incidents, but they do not rule them out either. This is not financial advice.
6 steps
How to get started with Jones DAO
- 1
Read the official documentation to understand the strategy you plan to use and its risks.
- 2
Connect a compatible wallet to the Jones app on Arbitrum or, for AURA strategies, Ethereum Mainnet.
- 3
Choose a vault, such as the USDC vault, the GLP vault, jAURA or Smart LP.
- 4
Deposit a supported asset and check the fees and withdrawal terms shown in the app.
- 5
Decide whether to auto-compound into more vault shares or collect yield yourself.
- 6
Monitor the position and the underlying protocols, especially for leveraged strategies.
Who Jones DAO is for
Jones DAO is for intermediate DeFi users who already understand GLP, concentrated liquidity or vote-locked tokens like vlAURA, and want a managed way to hold those positions. It is less suitable for beginners or anyone who cannot accept leverage, smart-contract and counterparty risk.
Jones DAO FAQs
What is Jones DAO?
Jones DAO is a yield, strategy and liquidity protocol. Users deposit into vaults that run DeFi strategies, such as leveraged GLP exposure, AURA auto-compounding and automated V3 liquidity management, and receive yield-bearing tokens.
Which blockchains does Jones DAO support?
DefiLlama lists Arbitrum and Ethereum. The homepage shows Arbitrum as a supported network, and a Google result notes that depositing AURA tokens happens on Ethereum Mainnet.
What is the JONES token?
JONES is the protocol's own token, listed on DefiLlama. Public sources do not describe its utility or tokenomics in detail, so check the official docs for current uses.
Is Jones DAO safe?
No DeFi protocol is risk-free. DefiLlama lists two audits, but the vaults rely on smart contracts, upgradable contracts controlled by the DAO, and third-party protocols. Leveraged strategies add further market risk. Only deposit what you can afford to lose.
What are jGLP and jUSDC?
The homepage describes jGLP as a vault share from the Leveraged Delta GLP Vault, which borrows from the Jones USDC vault to lever up and mint additional GLP. The vault auto-adjusts leverage within a predefined risk range, and yield comes from GMX rewards accrued in ETH.
What is Smart LP?
Smart LP is a set of automated concentrated-liquidity strategies for managing V3 positions hands-free. The homepage says it is aimed at retail traders, protocols, exchanges and funds.
