What WrappedM (WM) is
WrappedM by M0, ticker WM, is a wrapped version of M, the core token of the M0 protocol. M0 is infrastructure for building and running dollar-linked stablecoins. As publicly described, M is created against approved collateral, generally short-term, cash-like assets such as US Treasury bills. Approved minters create it and validators check the collateral.
A wrapped token is a second token that represents the first one and can be swapped back for it. M has its own accounting for yield, so it does not behave like a plain ERC-20 token. WM puts M into a more conventional token format that wallets, exchanges and DeFi contracts handle more easily. The aim is to keep a value close to one US dollar while making the asset simpler for other apps to integrate.
WM is not a separate currency with its own economy. Its value comes from the M it wraps, which in turn depends on the M0 system and its collateral. At the time of writing it trades very close to one dollar, at about $0.9993 as of 2026-11-05.
What the token is used for
Public sources we have do not include an official use list for WM, so this section stays short and sticks to what is generally known. The main role of a wrapper like WM is compatibility. Lending markets, liquidity pools and other smart contracts usually expect standard tokens, and WM gives M a form they can hold.
M0 is built so that stablecoin issuers can use M as a base asset rather than building their own reserve and minting machinery from scratch. Third-party projects can take part in the network in roles such as earner, meaning a party approved to receive the yield that M generates. One example from public ecosystem updates is Usual Protocol, which joined the M0 ecosystem as an earner in late 2024.
WM is not a governance token and is not meant as a speculative asset. It is a dollar-linked building block. If you hold it, you are mainly holding a claim tied to M0's collateral system rather than a stake in a company or a vote on protocol decisions.
Supply and tokenomics
WM is a wrapper, so its supply follows how much M is wrapped rather than a fixed schedule. The data lists no maximum supply. Circulating and total supply are both about 73.2 million WM as of 2026-11-05. That gives a market capitalisation of about $73.2 million and the same fully diluted value, which is what you would expect when a token has no further scheduled issuance.
Because it is a wrapped token, supply can rise when more M is wrapped and fall when WM is unwrapped back into M. There is no team allocation, vesting calendar or emissions programme attached to WM itself that we can point to. Any such details belong to the wider M0 project and are not covered here.
Trading activity is very thin. The 24-hour volume in our data is about $2, so the market cap figure mostly reflects the number of tokens multiplied by a price near one dollar, not a reading of active demand. The token ranks around 339 by market cap in the data used here.
Chains, holding and trading
WM is issued on four networks: Ethereum, Plume Mainnet, Arbitrum and Solana. It is not the native token of any chain, so you need the chain's own coin, such as ETH on Ethereum or Arbitrum, or SOL on Solana, to pay network fees when you move it.
In general terms, you hold WM in a self-custody wallet that supports the chain it lives on, or in a smart contract that has deposited it. You usually obtain it by wrapping M through a supported interface or by swapping another stablecoin for it on a decentralised exchange where a pool exists. Because token addresses differ between chains, always confirm that the contract address you are dealing with is the genuine one for that network before sending funds.
Liquidity is limited. With almost no daily volume, a large swap could move the price noticeably or may not be possible at all at a fair rate. Check the pool depth and the quoted slippage before trading, and do not assume you can exit quickly at one dollar.
History and notable events
M0 has positioned itself as a network for stablecoin issuers, and it drew notable attention in 2025. A news item from late August 2025 said the company raised about $40 million to build out its stablecoin network, and another round of the same news cycle referred to nearly $100 million being secured in a single day alongside Rain. We have not verified the details beyond those headlines.
The WM price history looks odd. Our data shows an all-time high of about $15.40 on 2025-09-04 and an all-time low of about $0.97 on 2025-09-20. For a token meant to hold near one dollar, a spike like that is far more likely to reflect a thin-market print, a data quirk or a short dislocation than real demand, so do not read it as a meaningful price record. Since then, the price has hugged a dollar.
The data does not give a launch date for WM, so we do not state one.
Risks to understand
Wrapping adds layers of risk on top of the underlying asset. The main ones are below.
- Peg and collateral risk. WM depends on M holding its value, and M depends on the quality and custody of its backing assets and on the minters and validators who manage them. If that system fails, WM could fall below one dollar.
- Smart contract risk. Bugs in the wrapper, the M0 contracts or a DeFi pool where WM sits could cause losses.
- Liquidity risk. Daily volume is tiny, so selling or swapping size could be costly or impossible near par.
- Bridge and multichain risk. Using WM across several chains means relying on the way each deployment is set up, and mistakes with addresses or networks can lose funds.
- Governance and regulatory risk. Rules can change which collateral is allowed and who may take part. Stablecoin regulation also continues to develop in many places.
- Data risk. Odd historical price points, like the 2025 spike, show that price feeds for this token can be unreliable.

How to store WM safely
Use a wallet you control and that supports the chain you are on. Hardware wallets work with Ethereum and Arbitrum accounts, and Solana is supported by many of them too. Keep your recovery phrase offline, written down and never typed into a website, chat or screenshot.
Before receiving WM, confirm the network and the token contract address. Send a small test amount first when moving funds between chains. Scam tokens with similar names exist, and a lookalike will not be redeemable for M.
Keep a little of the chain's native coin in the wallet so you can pay fees when you want to move or unwrap the token. Be careful with token approvals: only grant them to apps you trust, and revoke unused ones from time to time using your wallet's tools.
If you hold a large amount, consider splitting it across wallets and avoid leaving it in a single pool or protocol. Because trading is thin, you should also plan how you would convert it back to M or another asset before you need to.
By the numbers
WrappedM by M0 in numbers
WrappedM by M0 (WM) is ranked #318 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $75.8M and a price of $0.9989 as of Nov 6, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($75.8M) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.
The price was up 0.0% over 7 days, down 0.1% over 30 days, down 0.1% over the past year. It trades about 94% below its all-time high of $15.40, set on Sep 4, 2025.
About 75.93M WM are in circulation. No hard maximum supply is listed, so new tokens can still be issued.
24-hour trading volume was about $10.1K, or 0.0% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.
WM has token contracts on 4 chains we track, including Ethereum, Plume, Arbitrum, Solana. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.
CoinGecko groups WM under Wrapped tokens.

WM FAQs
What is WrappedM by M0 (WM)?
It is a wrapped version of M, the main token of the M0 stablecoin infrastructure protocol. It puts M into a standard token format that more wallets and DeFi apps can handle, while keeping a value near one US dollar.
Is WM a stablecoin pegged to the dollar?
WM is meant to trade near one dollar. At the time of writing, as of 2026-11-05, the price is about $0.9993. That price can change and is not guaranteed, and the token can lose its peg if the underlying system fails.
Which blockchains is WM available on?
The data lists WM on Ethereum, Plume Mainnet, Arbitrum and Solana. It is not the native token of any of them, so you need that chain's own coin for fees.
What is the supply of WM?
No maximum supply is listed. About 73.2 million WM were in circulation as of 2026-11-05, and the total follows how much M is wrapped rather than a fixed schedule.
Why does WM have an all-time high of around $15?
The data shows a high of about $15.40 on 2025-09-04. For a token designed to sit near one dollar, this is most likely a thin-market or data anomaly rather than a real value, so it should not be treated as a meaningful price record.
Is WM safe to hold?
Main risks include loss of the peg, smart contract bugs, very low liquidity, multichain mistakes and regulatory changes around stablecoins. This is general information and not advice to buy or sell.
What is the market cap of WrappedM by M0?
As of Nov 6, 2026, WrappedM by M0 had a market cap of about $75.8M, ranking #318 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
