Swarm Network (TRUTH): Uses, Supply and Risks

Swarm Network is described as a project focused on checking information and establishing the origin of online content. Public descriptions also connect it with AI agents and an oracle layer: systems that can bring information to applications or help assess whether claims are supported. The broad idea is to make information easier to verify, rather than asking users to trust a single source.

Public sources do not fully explain how Swarm Network’s verification process works, what evidence it uses, or how the network handles disagreements. It is therefore best to treat the project’s goals as a description of its intended role, not proof that every claim can be reliably verified. TRUTH is the project’s token, but the precise relationship between holding the token and using the network is not fully clear from public information.

TRUTH is presented as a token connected with data verification and building an on-chain record of what is considered true. Project descriptions also associate it with certifying the origin of online content and with AI systems that cross-check information. These uses suggest that the token is intended to support the network’s verification activity, but they do not establish exactly which actions require TRUTH or whether token holders have governance rights.

Before treating TRUTH as a claim on a service or a way to earn rewards, look for specific documentation describing the token’s mechanics. Public sources do not provide enough detail to confirm whether tokens are spent, staked, rewarded, or used to resolve disputes. Public sources do not identify it as the native token of a blockchain, so it is more accurate to describe TRUTH as a token available on Sui than as the coin that powers Sui itself.
